Nova's eyes widened as he watched Alex charge towards Gino. The air was electric with tension as the two cyborgs clashed. Nova's mind reeled with questions. Who was Alex, really? What was the Nexus Key, and why did it seem to hold such power?
As the battle raged on, Nova felt a strange connection to Alex. He couldn't explain it, but he felt like he owed his life to this mysterious cyborg.
Gino stumbled back, his confidence shaken. "You're...you're still a formidable opponent," he snarled. Alex's expression remained calm, his eyes fixed intently on Gino.
"We're not done yet," Alex said, his voice firm. Within an instant,he came near Gion and gave swift kick, Alex sent Gino flying across the place. The rogue cyborg crashed into a wall.
Gino then got up and said,"If i failed the mission ,They would destroy me.so i would just self-destruct me,to atleast destroy you."
Then Gino blasted himself,a great explosion occured,but Alex did not ran he too caught up in it.
Nova in horror and fear cried "Noooo!,Alex!."
Nova began to cry.Then after mist and smoke dissisipated,he noticed that Alex was not there.And the sudden shine in the pendant dissapeared.
Nova thought "no!,it seems like Alex died!,that is why the sudden shine in pendant dissapeared.
Then Nova heared "Why are you crying".then he turned back and saw Alex.
Nova got a relief.Alex asked "why were you crying for me?,we are not related,nor we knew each other for a long time,we saw each other only for a few hours.
Nova thought for a minute,"why did i cry ?,i only knew him today why did i cry?."
Then Nova said "Because you sacrificed to save me?."unsurely.
Alex said " is that so?."
The he slowly approached Nova.
Nova's eyes followed Alex as he approached him. "Who are you?" Nova asked again, his voice barely above a whisper. Alex's expression softened, and for a moment, Nova saw a glimmer of something almost like kindness in his eyes.
"I'll tell you everything," Alex said, his voice gentle. "But first, we need to get out of here. The Galactic Void Corporation won't stop until they've got what they want."
Nova's heart skipped a beat.He asked " What did the corporation want, and why were they so desperate?."
Alex said " i will explain it to you,first lets move to your house."
Then Nova remembered "his house was destroyed!."Then he again began to cry.
Alex asked " why are you crying?."
Nova then explained on how Alex destoryed his house.
Alex said "i'm truly sorry,".
Then Nova realised that a long time has passed.he asked "what is the time anyway Alex?."
Alex said According to this location the local time is 12:00.
Nova got shock and said "Oh no!,i'm late for my school!."And then he rushed towards the direction the school was.
Then Alex said "wait for me,i will come too."
Then he too ran to catch up with Nova.
As they turned to leave, Nova who was running caught sight of the pendant on his chest.He thought "This pendant was given to me by my mother.This is my mothers last symbol.But how is this the NEXUS KEY?,What secrets did it hold?"
Nova thought to himself, "How is this possible? Who is Alex, really? What's going on?" But to his surprise, Alex responded, his voice echoing in Nova's mind.
Then Nova reached the school,and entered inside it.After he entered he saw a bunch students talking."It is lunch break!".said Nova.
Nova said "because of that Alex i am late!"
Then a voice came in Nova's mind.
"Nova,Din't i apologise to you?,".it was Alex's voice!. his mental voice calm and clear.
Then Nova turned and saw no one was their except the students who belonged to the school.
"You're wondering how I'm talking to you in your mind,right?,."
Then Nova stopped.But he turned around to find Alex,but he could not find him.
Nova's eyes widened in shock. "How are you doing this?" he thought, his mental voice barely above a whisper.
"Only the person wearing the Nexus Key should receive its power," Alex explained, his mental voice gentle. "But since I'm the one who received the power initially, and you're wearing it now, I think our minds have become connected."
Nova shoited "connected!!".But it was so loud that other students too heard.
Nova's thoughts reeled as he tried to process this new information."My mind connected to you? What did this mean?"Said Nova in his mind.
Alex said " we can communicate through our thoughts,and i can read your thoughts,but you cannot read my thoughts." In his mind voice.
In Nova's mind,Alex said "Yes i understand that you're confused."
Nova said "Hey!,don't read my thoughts again.wait that means you can read my thoughts everytime,but i can't read even one of your thoughts?."
Alex says "yes".
Nova says "This is unfair!you have mind reading ability!"
Alex says "it is not in my hands."
Then Nova asks "Okay,now where are you?",
Then Alex says "i am hiding in this school so that i can protect you as well i can stay hidden."
Nova says "what a strange person you're."
Then Nova reaches his class.He then tries to enter the class quietly,when the the class teacher notices Nova.
Then the teacher shouts at Nova. "Nova you're late!"
"I'm sorry"said Nova.
Everyone in the class laughed at Nova.
Then the teacher said "This is the first time your late so i will give you a last warning,now go sit in your desk!".
Then Nova sat in his desk.then a girl,with blonde hair,beautiful eyes,who was sitting next to Nova said said "Nova,you're always on time,but today you were late,why?."
Nova got a bit shy and said "Because i woke up a bit late."
Then she asked "You know there was a big blast in the eastern side of our city!,and an meteorite too strucked there!!"
Nova remembers about it and says "Yes".
Then the girl remember and says "hey!,isn't your house in the eastern side?"
Nova said "yes".
The girl said "then you must have seen the meteorite too right?."
Nova said "i think so".
Then suddenly someone knocked the classroom's door.
It was police!!.
Nova was scared.he thought to himself
"Why are they here?!!,did they found out about me involved in the blast?.
Nova's mind was racing with questions,when Alex said "Of course not".
Then Nova remembers that he can talk with Alex in his thoughts.
In his thoughts,Nova said "Save me Alex!"
Alex voice echoed through Nova's mind.
"Do not worry Nova,i have cleared up all the things which shows you're involved in that accident."
Then the police man asks " who is Nova here?".
Nova remained silent,while the other students present there pointed their fingers towards Nova and said "He is Nova!"
Then Nova afraid on what policeman will do next,was shivering,his body drenched with sweat.
But the police said "i am sorry student Nova,The meteorite which struck our city has destroyed your house."
Every student present there including the teacher was shocked.
Then Nova was shocked.but it was more of a relief than a shock.
In Nova's mind Alex said "Din't i tell you not to worry."
The police man continued "when we arrived the spot,the house was completely destroyed,and when we asked your neighbours they said it was your house."
Nova got a big relief and was happy.
when a boy,sitting at backside said "are you insane?,your house got destroyed and your happy?,You are an idiot."
Then Nova realized it.He then began to cry "my house!!."
Alex thought Nova was acting to not raise suspicion so in Nova's mind said "you're good at acting kid!."
Nova said "i' m not acting i am really crying!!."
Alex said "whaaat!?,You are really crying!!?,why are you crying!?."
Nova in his thoughts said "My house is destroyed,and where will i live now.."and continued to cry.
Alex in his mind thought "just like proffessor Orion told,he really is a crybaby!."
