"The Creed. That's what we call it—the Assassin's Creed," Giovanni continued, his voice now more solemn. "It is a guide, a way of life. We live by it, not for personal gain, but for the freedom of all men. The Templars seek to control and domination. We seek to preserve liberty and the will of the people."
I already know these things as I have played AC I, Ezio Trilogy, AC III, AC IV...
"Nothing is true, everything is permitted."
The Order believes in a strong set of values that strictly govern their way of life, referred to as "the Creed". This Creed consists of three tenets:
1. Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent.
This tenet serves as the foundation of the Assassin's belief in preserving life, especially that of the innocent. The Assassins recognize the importance of justice and compassion, knowing that their cause must not be tainted by unwarranted bloodshed. To harm the innocent is to betray the very ideals they stand for.
2. Hide in plain sight. Be one with the crowd.
The Assassins are masters of stealth and subtlety. This tenet teaches them to blend into the world, moving unnoticed, making their actions imperceptible to the untrained eye. It's not about standing out but about remaining unseen, even as they influence the course of history from the shadows. They are the silent guardians of liberty, observing and acting without drawing attention.
3. Never compromise the Brotherhood.
The Brotherhood comes first. Their loyalty is to the cause and to one another. The Assassins are bound by a strong sense of unity and trust, with the understanding that their personal desires must always take a backseat to the greater good. They are part of something far bigger than themselves, and their actions must reflect this responsibility.
"Do you understand, my son?"
"I understand, Father," I said, my voice steady, though my heart was still racing. "But there's something more at stake here. The Templars are already moving. I've seen it. They'll stop at nothing to control everything. Before we do anything else, I have a suggestion to make."
Giovanni raised an eyebrow, his calm demeanour returning as he studied me. "A suggestion? What is it, Dante?" His voice was measured, but there was a flicker of curiosity in his eyes.
"We should send Mother, Claudia, and Petruccio to Uncle Mario's for safety."
Giovanni's expression darkened slightly, though his gaze remained sharp as he processed my suggestion. "You believe the Templars are already a threat to us, do you?"
I nodded, my mind racing with all the knowledge I had from my previous life and the terrifying events that were about to unfold. "I know they are. The Pazzi plot is just the beginning, but their reach extends far beyond that. The Templars are already infiltrating the city—controlling the pieces without anyone realizing it. The Medici, our family... none of us are safe."
Federico looked between us, his brow furrowed in confusion, yet understanding the weight of my words. "You want to send them away for their safety... but Father—"
Giovanni raised his hand, silencing Federico. His eyes never left me as he spoke, the years of experience evident in his tone. "It's not a bad idea. If things go the way you're suggesting, they would be safer away from Florence. But we can't just abandon our ground here, Dante. The city is our home, our history is built here. I won't turn my back on it."
"That's why I said we send only them to Uncle Mario's for now," I clarified quickly. "We need to prepare, but we can't let the city think we're abandoning it. The Templars will be watching every move we make. If we act too quickly, it will only fuel suspicion. But if we send Mother and the others away quietly, they'll be safe, and we can keep our focus here—on what really matters."
Giovanni was silent for a long moment, the air thick with tension. He stared at me, clearly torn between the desire to protect his family and the weight of the history we were bound to.
"You're right," Giovanni finally said, his voice low but resolute. "The Templars are not to be underestimated. We can't afford to take chances." He turned to Federico. "Prepare for a departure. We'll send them to Mario's immediately."
Federico nodded, his usual teasing expression replaced by one of sombre determination. "I'll take care of it, Father."
I reminded him, "Oh! Make sure the carriage is private not our usual one. The less attention we attract, the better."
Giovanni nodded, acknowledging the wisdom in my words. "Understood. Federico, take care of the details. No one outside the family should know of this departure."
Federico gave a quick salute, and with a final glance at both of us, he turned and left the room to make the arrangements.
Giovanni turned back to me, his expression happier as his gaze held pride for me, "Dante, I want to slowly introduce the ways for an Assassin to you and Ezio to have a normal childhood free of the responsibility, pain, suffering and paranoia of fighting an ancient cold war in the shadows against forces that wish to control the world."
Giovanni's voice softened, the weight of his words pulling him back to a place of reflection. "But that dream is no longer possible. The Templars' influence is already growing, and we must prepare for the coming storm. Both of you are destined for more than just a quiet life. It is the way of our family."
"I won't shy away from it, Father," I said, my voice firm. "I know what we face. And I'll do everything I can to help protect this family, our legacy."
Giovanni's eyes softened for a moment, a fleeting glimpse of the loving father beneath the Assassin Mentor. He placed a hand on my shoulder, a rare sign of affection. "I know you will, Dante. You are more than capable. But remember, it's not just about what we do on the battlefield. It's about the decisions we make in the shadows, the alliances we form, and the wisdom we gain from our enemies."
"Now go rest, I have an errand for you to run tomorrow."
I nodded, sensing the gravity of his words. It was clear that this family—this Brotherhood—was bound not just by blood but by a shared purpose, a purpose far more dangerous than the life I had once led. As I turned to leave, Giovanni added one last thought.
"Be mindful, Dante. The Templars are never far. They watch and wait, like wolves in the shadows. But remember, they underestimate us. And that will be their downfall."

Nicely done~
I muttered as I lay on the bed facing the wooden ceiling of my room, or is it?
[Main Quest Updated!]
[Name: Welcome to the Brotherhood]
[Objective: Integrate into the Auditore family and survive the execution of Giovanni Auditore. (90%)]
[Reward: +1500 XP, Unlock System Shop]
[Bonus Objective: Prevent the Auditore Tragedy (Incomplete)]
[Bonus Reward: ??]
It has been more than three months since I have regained my memories from my past life... and only now did I truly integrate into the Auditore family. The transition wasn't easy, especially considering the weight of my knowledge of what was to come. The loss of Giovanni—one of the most significant turning points in the family's history—was inevitable, and yet I was determined to alter that fate.
I turned my gaze towards the window, the dim light of dawn creeping into my room. My thoughts were a tangled mess. Each piece of knowledge, each memory, felt like a key to understanding the next steps. But even with all my insights from the games, the unpredictability of real life weighed heavily on me. It wasn't as simple as following a pre-written script.
The quest had updated, and my objective was clear: integrate into the Auditore family, not just as a member, but as someone who could help lead them through the coming storm. I had to survive Giovanni's execution and prevent the tragedy that was meant to destroy everything this family had built. It was a tall order, and time was already running out.
[System Message: Main Quest Progress - 90%] [Bonus Objective: Prevent the Auditore Tragedy (Incomplete)]
My mind drifted back to Giovanni's words. He wanted me and Ezio to have a normal childhood. I couldn't even imagine a life like that, given the war that loomed just beyond the horizon. In my previous life, I had played through the events of the Assassin's Creed games, but now I was living it, and every choice I made could alter the future.
I had my system now, but that didn't guarantee success. I'd unlocked some abilities, and made some progress, but the true challenges lay ahead.
As I lay there in my bed, I couldn't help but feel the weight of responsibility pressing down on me. Giovanni's death was coming. I couldn't prevent it completely, but I had to find a way to make sure it wasn't the end. Maybe, just maybe, I could turn it into the catalyst for something greater, something that would strengthen the Auditore family rather than break it apart.

Hello, my dear readers!
It's your favourite assassin here!
I just wanted to tell you all my fabulous decision after reading a complaint comment about the ranking system.
For if Dante ranks up in the system and it doesn't affect his rank in real life which is true which makes it quite useless.
So the solution is— that with each 'Milestone' rankup he will unlock the assassin's skill tree like Ezio, Bayek etc. As for Connor's skill tree assume he unlocked it after the promotion quest.
That's it.
Thanks for all your love and 'hate'.
