Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Yellowstone Lake Relics

The next day, Einstein opened her drowsy eyes in the caravan.

Tesla really put her in a very difficult situation last night. When Tesla is drunk, her destructive power is truly astonishing.

Einstein looked at the front seat and found that the driver had changed from Planck to Schrödinger without her knowing when.

Planck, who was supposed to be the driver, was writing notes with a smile on her face.

Tian Shi is very popular, Einstein looked away from her teacher.

"I just left Livingston and am now heading south on Highway 89." Schrödinger saw Einstein wake up through the rearview mirror. By the way, although Schrödinger looks small, she is already an adult and has no problem driving.

Although Einstein was Tesla and Schrödinger's older sister, she was the youngest.

"Then let's review the situation in Yellowstone first."

"Won't you let the others rest for a while?" Planck had no idea that she had been discovered.

"This drunk has slept enough." Einstein looked helplessly at Tesla with her head resting on her shoulders, raised her fist, and punched her head without saying a word.

"Ah, it hurts, it hurts!" This punch is really the best way to wake up a drunk. Tesla struggled to open her eyes.

"Mmm, I still feel a little dizzy. Could you be a little gentler?"

"People with hangovers have no say." Einstein looked displeased at the unconscious Tesla.

"Are the other two ready too?"

"I was woken up by Dr. Tesla's voice..." Finn rubbed his eyes and put on his gold-rimmed glasses, "Are you going to talk business?" When Finn asked, it woke Welt up next to him.

"Now that everyone is awake, let's start with the geographical location." Planck put the note in her arms with disappointment, turned her head from the passenger seat, and looked at the people in the back seat.

With Planck's explanation, Schrödinger also slowed down.

"As you know, Yellowstone National Park is the first national park in human history..." Planck slowly began her explanation of Yellowstone Park, and soon the topic turned to volcanic eruptions and collapses.

For the first time, Tian Shi learned more detailed knowledge of Honkai power from Planck's mouth. In this world, from the Black Death to the Ice Age, and even the World War, there are shadows of Honkai Energy.

Subsequently, the topic shifted to Welt, a man with an abnormally high Honkai energy aptitude. However, Welt seems to be in a bad mood because it is related to Honkai.

"Cough, let's get straight to the point." Planck coughed lightly, "Did you know that no carbon-14 was detected in the samples from the Yellowstone ruins?"

"Fifty to sixty thousand years?" Finn asked in surprise, and the others were more or less surprised.

"A comprehensive judgment, the latest human activity in the ruins should be from 50,000 BC, with an error of no more than 1,000 years."

"1000..." Finn, who is a paleographer, touched his nose. This number can only be suspected as an error in the history of 50,000 years.

So, a relic with more than 51,900 years of history? It's hard to believe... Was there human activity in pre-civilization North America?"

The scientists here really know about the existence of pre-civilization; after all, Ada is a product of pre-civilization.

"Probably similar to our Antarctic research station." They are not doubting the capabilities of previous civilizations, it's just that North America 50,000 years ago was not habitable.

"It doesn't contradict pre-civilization as we currently understand it."

"If it's really like you described before... a ruin of this scale cannot be handled by a single scientific research station." Finn rested his chin on his hands like a commander.

"Um..." Welt raised his hand in a daze. "What do you mean by 'pre-civilization'?"

"Ah... this is..."

"Let me do it." Finn, who is a paleographer, was the first to introduce this aspect.

"Pre-civilization, as the name suggests, is a technological civilization that flourished before our current history. This civilization can be traced back to the Astrachan III site, around 53,000 BC"

Welt was listening, Tian Shi was also listening. The history of a new world sounds interesting.

"Mountain Time, 11:38 AM - We have arrived at Yellowstone Lake." Schrödinger is like a machine that measures time with emotions.

"Lunch is what we prepared this morning. Eat while you walk." Schrödinger greeted the crowd.

On the north side of the parking lot, in the area marked "Wild Duck Lake," there was a temporary fence with a restricted area sign. There were also many guards patrolling around. However, under Planck's leadership, the group simply said hello and entered.

After entering, what appeared in front of everyone was the drained lake bed.

"It's really a big deal." Tian Shi looked at the lake bed in front of him, which had been completely drained and even had all kinds of equipment in place, and exclaimed with some surprise. If there hadn't been any signs outside, he might have thought it was a quarry.

"Hello! Dr. Einstein, long time no see." Nancy Edison, still dressed in casual men's clothing in black, came out of the open elevator.

"It's only been two months, Ms. Nancy."

"Still so indifferent." Edison sighed and looked around, with a look of sadness on her face.

The next moment, after feeling her hand being pinched, Edison gave the crowd a formal and polite smile again. The drunkard's intention is not in the wine. Einstein may have seen this long ago, and that's why her response was so cold.

"Whirring sound..." In response to Edison's change of expression, Tesla made a sound of disgust. Edison smiled and moved her eyes to Tesla.

"Sorry, please have someone stop making unnecessary noise here."

"Huh? Who are you talking about?"

"I think everyone knows who I'm talking about now," Edison replied politely.

It starts again... Except for Finn and Welt, everyone was already used to this scene.

Tesla liked to contradict Edison, and Edison also liked to "bully" Tesla, and after Edison and Tian Shi lived together for a while, the situation inexplicably became more and more serious.

It shouldn't have anything to do with me, right? Let these two enemies fight each other slowly.

Anyway... there's no way Tesla could beat Edison in this aspect.

Poor Dr. Tesla.
