As the days passed, Mirshad's health improved, and everything began to return to normal. He resumed school, and soon the 7th standard exams started. This was his final year at that school, and after the exams, he would have to transfer to a new school to continue his studies. During this time, Mirshad's mother was also in the hospital, expecting a new baby, which added to the family's tension.
With so much going on, Mirshad found it hard to focus on his studies in the days leading up to the exams. His mind was often distracted by thoughts of his mother and the future. Fortunately, his teachers were kind and understanding. They helped guide the students, making sure everyone knew the right answers and offering support when needed.
Finally, the last exam day arrived, and as soon as it ended, a wave of relief washed over Mirshad and his friends. They gathered together, talking excitedly about the future. Some of his friends were making plans to join the same school for 8th standard, hoping to stay together. "Don't go to a different school," they said to Mirshad. "We should all stick together."
As they chatted, Mirshad's father appeared, his face lit up with a bright, happy smile. "I have a surprise for you," he said, embracing Mirshad warmly. Intrigued, Mirshad agreed to follow his father. Together, they headed to the hospital.
When they arrived, Mirshad immediately asked, "What's happening? Where's Mama?"
His father smiled and pointed to a room. "Mama's inside. Go and see for yourself."
With growing excitement, Mirshad entered the room. There, he saw his mother resting, holding a tiny bundle in her arms. His heart skipped a beat when he realized what had happened—his mother had given birth to a baby sister, who looked as delicate and beautiful as a doll.
Though his father and younger brother had hoped for a boy, Mirshad had secretly wished for a sister. His mother had no preference, simply happy to welcome the new life into their family, boy or girl. But Mirshad had always wanted a sister, and now, here she was. His joy knew no bounds—what he had wished for had finally come true.
Holding his new baby sister for the first time, Mirshad felt a deep happiness. It was a moment of pure joy, a new beginning for his family, and for him.
