*As the Church was being made Arthur continued to work as an Adventurer in the morning, healer in the evening and learned Holy Magic from Raven and was about to reach the second stage of Holy Magic, including wide area spells. Then an emergency quest came, it was important every important for the Main Quest. As Arthur made his way to the Adventurer's guide, Raven's System gave him a notification about an Emergency Quest.
System's Emergency Quest -
A group of Mountain Giants have appaered near the city of Atlush, because of the growing corruption. Find a way to mediate between the Humans and Mountain Giants as well as safely lead them back from where they came from.
Reward - 100 Stellar Points
Penalty - Corruption growth will increase because of "... ".
Raven was shocked by this, he was getting something called "Stellar Points" or the Corruption spreading increases.
The System notified him again with information that, Stellar Points were earned by completing quest provided by the System. Each quest has its effects on the World as well as that Completing then is on the "Player" [or Raven]. No completing a quest can lead to many penalties ranging from increase in the growth rate of Corruption to death of characters. Raven started to understand what he had to do. The System continued to explain, Special quests and side quests are not important and will not cause any notable or major difference, but can have high level rewards. Lastly, the difficulty of each quest are different and have different rewarding variations, but the exception of some Special quests for which the difficulty can be chosen.
By the time Raven was done reading his System Notifications, Arthur was at the Adventurer's guide and had gained information that in one of the major dungeons of Atlush, a mountain giant's body was found along side many dead monsters and a trail of blood leading to one of the boss rooms. The people who reported this were scared that more mountain giants could be there and escaped. The fact that a mountain giant's body was found in a dungeon was odd because mountain giants are not monsters, but sub aggressive humanoids that are about the size 3 meters in height at average and could even be 4 meters tall by the time they become adults. Most human interactions with mountain giants had causes deaths as they hate humans for disturbing the natural cycle. Of some notes mountain giants are also seen as guardian creatures of mountain areas and similar to forest giants prefer to remain in thier natural habitat, rarely seens anywhere except tall mountains.
A mountain giant in a dungeon near Atlush could only mean that it was from the nearby mountain range which is also known to be one of the tallest mountains in the whole Aradon Empire, known as the Nalthis Mountain as they act as the biggest barrier saving the empire's captain from being attacked from the northern direction. The city of Atlush was made in the embrace of the Nalthis Mountain for one reason, that place was safe from most monsters except the dungeons, which are littered all of the world and are of different type depending on the area and ecosystem.
Even if Raven knew that this trip to the dungeon where the mountain giant's corpse layed would be an important part to the future of Orbus, but he didn't wanted to stress out Arthur, as he belived in Arthur's senses and guidance skills. Raven decided let Arthur do what he wants till the situation gets out of hand. Raven's only concern was ehat could have been the reason why a mountain giant be forced to leave the mountains, he had zome knowledge about the creatures found in Orbus and the thing that could have pushed a territorial creature out of it's area could not be good.
Arthur and 5 other A ranked Adventurers went to check the situation in the dungeon and after nearly a hour finds the corpse. They follow the trail of blood leading to the boss room, the whole blood on the floor was enough for a man to swim in if placed in a pool. Arthur and his companions from the Adventurer's guide was getting anxious as they opened the boss monster's room and the boss monster was dead, with a group of mountain giants laying on the ground with a half dead boss monster in the middle of the room. The group of mountain giants contained 9 adult and 4 young giants with most of the adult giants badly hurt, maybe near death.
Raven received a new quest "Heal the Mountain Giants", as soon as this message arrived Raven told Arthur about it and even with a bit of concerns Arthur channelled his Holy Mana, finally proceeding to Second Stage Holy Magic "High Heal" and "Wide Area Heal". On Arthur's use of "Wide Area Heal" all Mountain Giants were in better shape and the one which seems to be the pack's leader had awakened. The rest of the Party of Adventurers were in shock from Arthur's action because Mountain Giants were know to have high temper, specially against humans. Out of the 5 adventurers 4 strate up ran out of their while Arthur and an A rank adventurer Serina stand there completely motionless. [Why you ask?] Sarina was caught up in fear that ger sudden actions might anger the Mountain Giants, while Arthur had fate in his God and did as Raven said.
Arthur kneeled in front of the Mountain Giant's Leader and said the words told to him by Raven which were in the Elven tongue that translates to "Oh, Guardian of the Nalthis Mountains. I am an humble servant of my God and have healed you as of his wish. I hope for you to not show hostility as my God wishes to help you return to your home, unharmed. He also wishes to help you fix your home, if an issue has appeared there".
The Mountain Giant's Leader though for a few seconds and answered in Elven tongue, "Child of a God, I can feel your Holy Aura and wish no harm to you. As the tales have always said the Holy One will return and it seems he has. We will act as he desires", which was translated to Arthur by Raven and Raven told him to lead the Mountain Giants to the Nalthis mountains where his first mission will be held as Raven's follower*.
