Jay-jay's POV
"So, you're afraid of blood?" Ci-N asked.
He's been asking for a while now. I'm getting close to being annoyed. As soon as I entered the room, he approached me and kept asking about what happened during our P.E. class.
I already told him no, but he wouldn't stop.
"Ci! I already said no, didn't I? I don't even know why that happened to me. You're so persistent!" I answered irritably.
"But has that happened to you before?" he asked again.
Before? Yeah...
"I don't remember."
"Is that even possible?"
"Of course... Do you remember everything you did 10 years ago? Every single thing?"
He went silent and thought for a moment. Then he smiled at me and shook his head.
"See?"
He just pouted and scratched his head. I was right. He's just being stubborn—sometimes I just want to smack him.

Keifer's POV
"Any updates?" I asked Edrix and Rory.
"Yup… I already got their private information," Rory answered.
Rory is really the best information seeker in my group. He can even get an NSO copy of someone's records. I don't know how he does it, but according to him, he has his ways, thanks to his father, who works as a private investigator and owns his own firm.
"How about Ci-N? Is he doing his job?" I asked.
"He's with Jay-jay right now, just like you wanted," Edrix answered.
That's great. Once I gather all the information I need, I can start my plan.
It's not even a big plan, but it's enough to see his reaction to everything I do to her cousin. If things go well, I can execute my final plan, and I'll make sure he pays for everything.

Jay-jay's POV
Our morning classes ended quickly. I guess that's what happens when your mind is drifting.
It was lunchtime, and I planned to go back to my usual spot to eat there. I was about to stand up when Ci-N suddenly approached me with a wide smile.
"What?" I asked him.
His smile quickly turned into a sad expression. "You forgot?"
I looked at her in confusion. "Forgot what?"
"Oh… She really forgot."
Poor kid! Haha.
"Just kidding… of course, I remember."
He's so fun to mess with. He probably thought I forgot to bring hIS lunch. That's what I promised hIM last time.
Her big smile returned. "Thanks…"
"Let's go to my usual spot…" I invited hIm, and he followed.
I didn't want to give his the lunch I prepared out in the open, in case some idiots tried to take it from her. But I don't think they would. They're still ignoring me anyway.
That's fine with me. EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE THE ONES AT FAULT! So shameless!
They were the ones who messed with me before, yet they have the nerve to ignore me? Have some shame, damn it!
Ci-N and I arrived at my usual spot. I handed him the other lunchbox I brought. Next time, I'll bring a bento box so it's bigger and has more food.
"This is called Bistek, right?" Ci-N asked while inspecting the dish.
"Yeah, sure…" I answered.
I was already eating. I don't want to be asked a bunch of questions while I'm chewing. He can figure it out on his own! Let's be enemies for now. Hehe.
We both stayed quiet. He must have realized that I didn't want to talk while eating. I finished eating before Ci-N, so I just waited for him.
"Jay…" she started while chewing. "…Are you and Aries fighting?"
No… But he's mad at me.
"Not really… Why do you ask?"
He swallowed his food before answering. "I just never see you two talking. But you come to school together, and then there's what happened during P.E."
"We're just not that close, that's all."
Yeah… That's all there is to it. He just nodded and went back to eating. After finishing his food, he returned the container to me.
It was still early, so we didn't leave yet. Hangout mode: On!
"What did your mom say when you got home with a Red Nose?" he asked while laughing.
Is he teasing me?
Red Nose, really?!
"Nothing… She didn't even see it." I answered flatly. She's too busy with her new husband to pay attention to me.
"She didn't see it? How—"
"We don't live together. I just stay at Aries's place."
I didn't really want to talk about this, but Ci-N was being extra curious today. It's fine since we're friends now, but I'm still not comfortable sharing too much.
He fell silent for a moment. I hope he felt something. He turned to me and smiled. Why does his smile feel different?
"Let's play..."
Such a child!
"What game?"
"20 Questions... We take turns asking, and the questions can't be repeated. You also can't answer with 'secret' or 'I don't know.'"
What's his problem? Can he really not sense it? But maybe he has a different reason. Maybe he's just trying to distract me.
"Alright... But I'll ask first." He smiled and nodded at me.
"...Why did Keifer do that to me?"
His smile disappeared, and he didn't speak. He also tried to avoid my gaze. Oh, no, you don't! I need answers too.
"A-uh... B-because..."
"Let's not continue this if you don't want to answer."
"I-it's not that I don't want to answer. It's just that Keifer might get mad at me."
I let out a deep sigh. "Are you afraid of him?"
She avoided my gaze. "Yes... I owe him. And just look at me compared to him."
I don't like what I'm hearing. That bastard is a huge bully! I'm not angry about what he did to me—I'm mad because I feel like he can get away with anything.
"Let's go back..." I said, standing up from where I was sitting.
Ci-N followed me. As I stepped onto the last step, I stopped.
"Go ahead to the room. I'll follow later," I said without looking at Ci-N.
"H-huh? But it's almost time."
"I know..."
"O-okay," she replied and finally walked back to the room.
I'm annoyed. I don't want to see Keifer. I don't want to see the entire Section E. There's only one Keifer, and honestly, they could stand up to him if they wanted to, but they don't.
What is it about him? What's so special about Keifer? What do you have?
Out of frustration, I kicked a broken bench that was lying on the path. It hurt a little, but my anger at that bastard overpowered it.
Your time will come, Keifer!
"You're breaking something that's already broken."
Speaking of the devil!
He was holding a baseball again, tossing it in the air while looking at me.
I crossed my arms and glared at him. "None of your business!"
"Tss. What's your problem?" he asked, sounding bored.
"None of your business."
He smirked and walked back to the room, but he stopped after passing me.
"By the way, the re-election is later. It didn't push through last time. Support me, okay?"
The audacity! Dream on! I won't support you! You wish!
He went back to the room, and the bell rang. I wasn't planning to go back yet, but I saw the teacher approaching. Pfffttt...
As usual, no one was paying attention to me. Ci-N, on the other hand, kept forcing a smile. He seemed deep in thought.
Class ended, and it was time to go home. I usually get excited to leave, but today felt boring. This is all Keifer's fault!
As soon as the teacher left, the whole class started arranging the chairs and desks, placing them at the sides until they formed a square.
Is this how they do re-elections?
David and Keifer stood inside the square, while the rest of us were outside. They looked like they were in a boxing ring, and we were the audience.
"Just like before... Last man standing wins and becomes the president of Section E!" Kit announced to everyone.
What? Last man standing? What kind of election is this? The elections I know involve voting.
David and Keifer took off their polo shirts. Even their undershirts and T-shirts were removed. Wew! David has muscles even though he's thin. But they're nothing compared to Keifer's. Keifer's body is too big compared to David's. This seems unfair! The fight isn't balanced!
Both of them took boxing stances.
Son of a...
Seriously? This is really their re-election? Boxing?
The crowd started cheering.
"Go, David!"
"Take him down, Keifer!"
"Keifer!"
"Keifer! You got this!"
Keifer had way more supporters. Poor David.
Kit climbed onto one of the tables. "Let the fight begin!!" he shouted, and the whole class banged on the tables in excitement.
David threw the first punch, but Keifer dodged. Keifer countered, but David also avoided it. They both stepped back for a moment. It looked like they were just warming up.
Hit him, David!
Wait... Why am I even getting into this?!
David attacked again. Keifer dodged, but David followed up with another hit.
KEIFER WENT DOWN!!
"GO FOR IT! KEEP HITTING HIM!!" I shouted.
I was surprised by what I did, but no one around me seemed to care. I guess it's fine if I cheer too.
Keifer stood up, and he was clearly angry. Before David could react, Keifer threw a punch. David went down.
"Cheater... HEY! YOU CHEATER!" I yelled, banging on the table.
Keifer and the others turned to look at me. What? I'm right!
David got up and continued the fight. They exchanged punches for a while. David went down again, looking exhausted.
This can't be! My bet is going to lose!
I walked closer to his spot and shouted. "DAVID! DON'T LOSE TO THAT DEMON!"
Keifer gave me a sharp look, and David glanced at me irritably.
"Tsk! You're so noisy!" David complained.
"I DON'T CARE! JUST BEAT THAT JERK UP!" I yelled again, and David stood up.
This really felt like a boxing match. Donaire vs. Pacquiao. Well, both fighters are Filipino anyway!
I just hope Keifer doesn't win this time.
LOSE, KEIFER!!
