Chapter 1 - Chapter-1 Prologue

In the year 2025, nestled within the folds of a quiet, unremarkable city, lived an equally unremarkable young man named Arthur. A college student by label, but a dreamer by nature, Arthur lived a life that could only be described as average. He wasn't particularly athletic, nor did he stand out in academics. Teachers barely remembered his name, and classmates often overlooked him. Yet none of that ever truly bothered him.

What made Arthur different was the world that lived within his imagination.

While the world around him moved forward—students rushing to classes, workers chasing deadlines, life progressing like a machine—Arthur found solace in stories. He devoured novels by the dozen, scrolled endlessly through fan fiction, and binged anime, manga, and manhwa like his life depended on it. Fantasy was his oxygen. Magic systems, chosen heroes, empire-building, transmigration—he knew the tropes by heart. He often wished that he, too, could be part of those tales. To leave behind this monotony and live a life where fate actually meant something.

Beneath the surface of his quiet demeanor burned a silent yearning—a desire to be reincarnated into a magical world. A place where he could rise, forge his destiny with his own hands, and build an empire that would stand the test of time.

He often laughed at himself for it. *Reincarnation? Come on, Arthur, get real.* But no matter how much he buried it, the dream never faded.

---

It was a late afternoon when everything changed.

The golden sun was beginning to dip below the skyline, casting warm, honey-colored rays through the window of Arthur's modest bedroom. Dust motes danced lazily in the light as he lay cross-legged on his bed, the latest chapter of his favorite fantasy novel glowing on his tablet screen. His room was cluttered in a familiar chaos—books stacked in uneven piles, empty snack wrappers tossed carelessly, posters of fantasy worlds and armored warriors plastered across the walls.

He was deeply engrossed, eyes skimming every word, heart racing as the hero in the story charged into battle. Just as the climax approached—

**DING.**

A glowing prompt suddenly materialized in midair, right above his tablet. Not on the screen—*in the air*. Arthur's heart skipped a beat. He blinked several times.

The prompt remained.

It glowed with an ethereal blue light and bore a strange, futuristic font:

**"Suitable planet detected… Initiating transmigration of lords…"**

Arthur stared, unblinking. "What the hell?" he whispered.

And then—

Everything turned black.

---

There was no pain. No noise. No light.

Arthur floated in an endless void, weightless and detached, like a speck of dust drifting through space. He couldn't feel his limbs or hear his own breathing. His thoughts felt muffled, distant.

*Am I dreaming? Is this some kind of lucid illusion?*

Before he could grasp the thought, his awareness faded further—until nothing remained.

---

When he finally regained consciousness, a strange dampness clung to the air around him. The scent of earth and moss filled his lungs as he gasped sharply.

"Huh… Where am I? What's happening?" he muttered, barely recognizing his own voice.

His eyes slowly adjusted to the dim surroundings.

He was no longer in his bedroom.

Instead, a dense, ancient forest stretched out in every direction. Towering trees with twisted branches loomed over him, their leaves forming a thick canopy that filtered the light into a ghostly green hue. Shadows danced across the ground, and the sound of rustling foliage hinted at unseen creatures nearby.

He staggered to his feet, his pulse thundering in his ears. His heart hammered in his chest—half fear, half exhilaration.

Could it be? *Did I actually… transmigrate?*

A sound like a chime echoed in his mind, followed by a calm, mechanical voice that resonated with eerie authority:

**"Transmigration of lords completed. Now initiating protection period."**

Before Arthur could process it, a curtain of translucent white light descended around him, creating a dome-like barrier that shimmered gently.

The voice continued:

**"Dear lords, you have been transmigrated into this world. This world is filled with endless danger. I hope you can survive."**

Arthur's breath caught in his throat. His fingers trembled slightly as more prompts flooded his vision, each one illuminating like a system menu in a game:

---

### **ATTENTION LORDS:**

1. You have been granted an initial territory of 500 square meters, including a hut and a gift pack.

2. You are currently under a 7-day protection period. During this time, no monster can enter your territory. A healing function is active within your territory during this period, capable of restoring injuries for both you and your subordinates.

3. All lords may access their personal panels to view stats, talents, and progress.

4. Global communication will activate in 10 minutes.

5. Three chat servers will be available: Global Chat, Regional Chat (10,000 lords per region), and Private Chat.

6. A total of **7 billion people** have been transmigrated.

7. Talents are divided into the following ranks: Black, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Epic, Rare, and Legendary.

8. Cultivation ranks range from 1 to 10. Each rank contains a minimum of 10 levels.

9. Cultivation beyond rank 10 must be discovered by the lords themselves.

10. Monsters encountered in the wild follow the same ranking system.

---

Arthur read every line carefully, his mind whirling. His breathing quickened as realization dawned.

"This… this is real. I actually transmigrated!" he said aloud, voice quivering with awe. "I'm in another world! I can build my own empire!"

The countdown in the corner of his vision ticked away toward zero, and just as it hit the final few seconds, another chime echoed through his mind.

**"Congratulations, Lord Arthur. You have acquired your talent. Your talent is Legendary Rank – Luck."**

Arthur's eyes widened to the size of saucers. "Whaaaat? Legendary?! And it's… Luck?!"

His pulse skyrocketed.

Grinning like a madman, he willed open his status panel:

---

**Name:** Arthur

**Gender:** Male

**Species:** Human

**Occupation:** Lord

**Cultivation:** Rank 1 (Level 1, EXP: 00)

**Skills:** None

**Talent:** Luck (Legendary)

**Strength:** 5

**Health:** 100

**Agility:** 4

**Intelligence:** 10

**Mana:** 0

---

He stared at the numbers, unimpressed by his base stats. *Weak... but that's to be expected.*

Then he tapped on the **Luck** talent to reveal its description:

---

**Luck – Legendary Talent**

*Doubles your luck in all scenarios. You will receive all potential loot after killing a monster. Any event, chance, or gamble with a percentage-based outcome will have a 100% success rate.*

---

Arthur nearly laughed in disbelief. "This… this is OP as hell!"

If what the system said was true, he could essentially cheat probability itself. In a world where survival and success were uncertain, luck was the ultimate weapon.

He glanced around, taking in his territory.

A small, unevenly built hut stood near the center of the clearing. The roof was a patchy mess of straw and leaves. One strong gust of wind might send it flying.

"Looks like the hut they mentioned," he muttered. "If it rains, I'm screwed."

Not far from it stood a sleek, glowing structure—a circular platform with swirling blue light pulsing from its core. The **Summoning Portal**.

He recalled the earlier message: monsters might drop summoning cards after defeat—rare items that could be used to summon soldiers or workers.

His thoughts turned to the last item mentioned in the prompt: the **Newbie Gift Pack**.

His heart pounded with anticipation.

He opened his inventory and found it—a red, glowing box pulsing with energy.

As he tapped it, a new prompt materialized before him:

---

**"Do you wish to open your Newbie Gift Pack?"**
