"I didn't know my master had a habit of eavesdropping."
"It's not called eavesdropping if you know I'm there." Seo-Jun said as he walked forward, towards me.
He stopped behind me, his energy looming over me quite ominously. He looked down at me with his hand underneath my chin, very close to strangling my neck, and pushed my head back so our eyes could meet.
"I'm expecting a 'thank you for helping me' from you." He said, and I rolled my eyes away exhaustedly.
He was too much.
"Thank you for helping me." I said in a half-assed and unintentional tone while not looking him in the eye.
"That's not how you do it." He said and leaned down, his lips curling up in that annoying smirk. "Your words don't sound sincere at all."
Of course. It's because I'm not being sincere.
Even though he did help me and I was a little bit touched, I don't think sincerely thanking him will lead me anywhere.
If anything, his head would become bloated with pride, and he would start making demands.
