Chapter 4 - Brotherly Duties

As Sean watched his status his eyes started to get heavy. He tried to keep them open but after a while, everything went dark. He could not tell how long it had been but he heard beeping. He slowly opened his eyes and saw lights. His eyes acclimated and everything came into full focus.

He was in a hospital, and the first thing he did was touch his face. There was no helmet.

"Was it a dream?" Sean whispered to himself.

"You are awake," Taylor said and Sean turned in her direction.

"What happened? " Sean asked trying to sit up. Taylor sat by his bed.

"Amelia and I found you passed out in the warehouse. The doctor said you collapsed, he did not know exactly why though." Taylor said and took a pudding from a tray by Sean's bedside.

"Wait, how long have I been here?" Sean asked and searched for his phone to check the date.

"You have been out for hours, we found you at 8:00am and it is now 9:00 pm," Taylor said then got up to leave. Sean took out his drip and got out of bed. He walked to a wardrobe and took out his clothes.

"What are you doing?" Taylor asked as Sean put on his pants.

"I am going home, my sister might be worried. She is all alone. What are you even doing here." Sean asked, he genuinely wanted to know. He had only met her one time and did not expect her to visit him in the hospital.

"Actually, I came to steal your keycard so I can steal the suit and work on it at home," Taylor said without a smirk or smile to indicate that she was joking. Sean looked around for the key but he could not find it.

"Give it back," Sean said and extended his hand towards her with palm wide open.

"I don't have it." Taylor shrugged as she said and realized who did immediately.

"That bald-headed snake," Taylor said and walked out of the room. Sean walked out moments later. He took a taxi home.

"Angela" Sean called the moment he walked into the house. He turned hit the light switch and looked around. He walked to her room and knocked on her door.

"I am coming in," Sean said after knocking several times without an answer. He entered and saw an empty room. Clothes were all over the floor. He went to the kitchen and checked the fridge and island for a note. There was none.

"Where can she be?" Sean said and went to their neighbor's house. She was friends with their daughter and crushing on their son. Before Sean could use the doorbell he heard giggles from the backyard. He used a side gate into the backyard. There he saw Angela smoking with her friends. The moment she saw him she threw away the cigarette. Sean walked to the still-lit cigarette and stomped it out.

"Let's go," Sean said and stood there waiting for Angela to move. After a while, she wheeled herself to him. Sean took the lead.

"She is not going anywhere with you. You can not treat her like a lapdog just because she can't walk." A guy said he was dressed in a ball shirt with the logo of a rock band on it. He wore a black jean which sagged just above his knee. Sean said nothing he just ignored him and grabbed Angela's wheelchair.

As he was wheeling her away the guy grabbed him. Sean took his hand and threw it back to him. The only problem was his hand was not the only thing that he sent flying. The boy was sent flying into some hedges. He nearly touched him. Sean stared surprised, he quickly wheeled Angela back to their house.

"What was that?" Angela asked the moment they got there.

"You can't just show up and toss people into hedges."

"I am sorry it will not happen again," Sean said shutting Angela up immediately. She accepted his apology and they went to their respective rooms.

When Sean was alone he called Status. A status screen appeared.

"It was not a dream."
