Chapter 74 - Chapter 21: The War Reaches Its End

The battlefield was drenched in chaos as warriors from both sides reached their limits. The sky above crackled with energy as Archon and Necrosma clashed in their most powerful forms—Dark Instinct Archon against Omni Necrosma. The fight between them shook the entire multiverse.

Despite Necrosma's monstrous strength, Archon was slightly stronger. Necrosma's anger erupted.

Necrosma: "You told me you'd help me in any situation! When my army was being destroyed, where were you? Why didn't you come?!"

Archon: "Because at that moment, I only cared about one thing—conquering the multiverse. I needed power to take revenge, and for that, I needed a strong army. I thought you were strong enough to help me, but you weren't. That's why I left you."

Necrosma's rage boiled over.

Necrosma: "You promised to make me the King of the Multiverse! You lied! I'll kill you for this betrayal!"

He charged at Archon wildly, launching countless attacks, but Archon dodged them all effortlessly. With a devastating punch, Archon sent Necrosma flying back. Necrosma barely managed to balance himself.

Necrosma: "Tell me one thing! L is a god, right? And both of us have killed so many people. So why does he spare you but not me? Why does he let you live and try to kill me?"

Archon: "I don't know exactly why, but I think... he gave me a second chance."

Necrosma laughed bitterly.

Necrosma: "A second chance? What nonsense! You're a liar! You call me a killer, but you've slaughtered entire civilizations! You're no different from me!"

Archon's expression darkened.

Archon: "You call me a killer? From the time of your grandfather, your family has been murdering and ruling through fear! Don't act like you're any different!"

Necrosma's eyes burned with fury.

Necrosma: "You say from my grandfather's time? But do you even know why he chose the path of evil? Do you know my family's past?"

Necrosma took a deep breath and revealed his tragic past.

Necrosma's Backstory:

"Since childhood, all I saw was war. Rulers slaughtered people for their own amusement, treating them like disposable pawns. But my grandfather was different. He was kind-hearted. He tried to protect our family, but in the end, he lost everything. When the war ended, he tried to live peacefully, but the world never forgave him. People shunned him, mistreated him. That's when he changed. He realized that kindness was worthless—that only strength mattered. He chose the path of evil, and through it, he became powerful. That belief passed down to my father... and then to me. Evil made us strong. Evil made us rulers. And ruling the world was our only goal."

Archon listened carefully before speaking.

Archon: "I also lost my family and friends. I also wanted power. But unlike you, I chose to seek strength from the gods. And when I faced L, the True God, I finally realized my mistake."

Necrosma: "What mistake?"

Archon's eyes gleamed with understanding.

Archon: "That you are losing because you took power from evil, while I gained my strength from the gods."

Necrosma's fury exploded. He roared in rage and unleashed his full power. But at that moment, Archon's aura changed. A divine dark energy surrounded him, transforming him into his ultimate form—Omni Dark Instinct.

Necrosma attacked with everything he had. But Archon didn't even move.

The next moment, Necrosma was hit by countless punches in less than a second. He staggered back, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

Archon: "You are fighting out of anger and revenge. I am fighting to protect my people. That is why you are losing."

At that moment, reality hit Necrosma.

He had nothing left to fight for.

No family.

No friends.

No army.

Not even his team.

His whole existence had been a lie. He had been used from the very beginning.

As the battle raged on, everyone in the battlefield suddenly felt an overwhelming, terrifying power coming from above. Even Necrosma and the Dark Army trembled.

The Dark Commander, who had been fighting the Ten Gods, was unleashing a power far beyond anything they had ever encountered. The Ten Gods were struggling, being pushed back by his mere presence. The battlefield began to shake.

Far away, in the Dark Void, a deep voice echoed—Dark.

Dark: "As I expected, Necrosma has also fallen."

Beside him, L stood watching.

L: "Necrosma is finally realizing his mistakes."

Then, both Dark and L spoke in unison.

"Now, the war has come to its end."
