After the intense battle with Sunla, the remaining Immortals turn their gaze toward the ongoing battle between Gray and Hyperior. Oakad, standing with the other commanders, smirks and says, "Now, let's see how my grandson handles this."
Gray stands firm, his Divine Purple Aura radiating like an unbreakable flame. Hyperior, at first shocked by his overwhelming presence, quickly regains his composure and smiles.
"As we wished, let's finish this," Hyperior declares.
Gray smirks. "Come."
In an instant, their battle erupts at light-speed, so fast that no one can see their movements—only the shockwaves left behind. Their clash sends asteroids and even small planets crumbling into dust. The Immortal warriors watch in awe, struggling to even comprehend the scale of the battle.
Hyperior, despite his power, senses something is off. He sneers. "Even in your new form, you're still not on my level, Gray!"
But Gray only smiles. In a flash, he lands a devastating punch on Hyperior's face, sending him crashing into a nearby planet.
Hyperior wipes the blood from his mouth and laughs. "Your punch is strong, but it's not enough!"
Gray shakes his head. "That was just the beginning."
Their battle intensifies. Hyperior attacks with full force, but Gray dodges effortlessly, countering with powerful strikes that leave deep wounds on Hyperior's body. The once-mighty general is now bleeding intensely.
Hyperior grits his teeth, realizing a painful truth—Gray has been stronger than him from the very start.
With one final, earth-shattering punch, Gray sends Hyperior flying across space—right into the middle of the battle between Archon and Necrosma.
Hyperior, barely conscious, witnesses a battle beyond anything he has ever seen. Archon and Necrosma are clashing at a level of power that makes his own fight seem insignificant. "Is this...the level of true gods?" he mutters.
Before he can think further, Archon strikes him back toward Gray, sending him spiraling through the void.
Gray catches his breath and narrows his eyes. "This is the end for you, Hyperior. You will pay for everything you've done."
For the first time, Hyperior does not resist. Instead, he laughs weakly and speaks:
"Gray...do you want to know why I became like this?"
Gray listens silently as Hyperior tells his tragic past:
As a child, his father taught him that evil was power, and that ruling through fear was the only way to survive.
His mother was kind, but she was seen as weak. When she opposed his father's ways, his father killed her without hesitation.
Blinded by his father's ideology, Hyperior followed in his footsteps—believing that strength was all that mattered.
His brother, Necrosma, took this belief even further, killing without understanding the meaning of life or death.
In time, Hyperior secretly killed his father during a war, hoping to take the throne and rule with his own ideals.
But Team Ultra chose Necrosma as their leader instead.
Filled with rage, Hyperior wanted to kill Necrosma, but he was too weak. In the end, he became nothing more than his brother's pawn, killing millions in his name.
Hyperior looks up at Gray, his eyes filled with regret.
"Now, I finally understand. My whole life was a lie. Gray, kill me...release me from this guilt."
Gray stares at him, his face unreadable. Then, he speaks:
"Do you think your death will be that easy? You killed countless people, started wars for fun, and now you want a peaceful escape? No."
Hyperior gasps, feeling the weight of Gray's words.
"I took my revenge on you long ago, Hyperior. This battle isn't for revenge. I fight to protect my people—not for hatred, not for destruction, and definitely not for power.
"War isn't a game. It's not for showing strength or ruling others. War is meant to protect what we hold dear—but people throughout history have turned it into nothing more than a sport of slaughter."
Hyperior's eyes widen as he remembers his mother's words:
"Evil always leads to destruction. If you wish to protect the ones you love, then choose the right path."
Gray sighs and crosses his arms. "When I asked L about war, he told me something important."
Hyperior listens carefully.
"L has fought countless wars in his life. But do you know what he always tries first? He tries to stop the war. He fights only when there is no other way. Because he knows that every war carries the risk of losing everything."
Hyperior clenches his fists, realizing his mistake too late.
His memories flood his mind—the lives he destroyed, the people he hurt, the moments he ignored the truth. He thinks of his mother's final words, his father's lies, and his brother's madness.
Tears form in his eyes as he whispers, "Gray...thank you."
With that, Hyperior collapses, his body slowly fading into pure energy.
Gray watches him vanish and mutters, "At this moment...he has finally become a pure soul. I hope you find a good family and true friends in your next life, Hyperior."
The battle is over.
The Immortal army watches in silence. They expected a ruthless execution, but instead, they witnessed a moment of understanding, regret, and redemption.
As the final traces of Hyperior disappear into the cosmos, Gray stands tall, his Divine Aura still burning brightly.
But the war is far from over.
With two victories and many losses, the Omniversal War rages on.
