The War Reaches Its Peak
The battlefield is now a graveyard of warriors.
Demons and Auxilian soldiers alike lay dead or injured.
The Auxilian army, despite their bravery, is falling apart.
More and more soldiers collapse, unable to fight anymore.
L watches.
His golden-brown eyes glow with silent rage.
He steps in, moving faster than the eye can see.
With each swing of his hand, demons weaken.
Their strength drains, making it easier for the soldiers to fight back.
For a moment, it seems like the tide of battle is shifting.
But then—
The Demon Commanders step in.
---
The Prince and Gray vs. The First Demon Commander
The Prince, wielding the Wind Blade, rushes at the First Demon Commander.
His sword slashes through the air, sending sharp wind waves at the massive demon.
Gray, moving at lightning speed, attacks from the side.
Their combined power is incredible.
At first, the First Demon Commander struggles to keep up.
He is pushed back, overwhelmed by the duo's attacks.
But then—
His body starts glowing with dark energy.
His muscles bulge.
His eyes turn completely black.
A massive surge of power erupts from him.
In an instant—
He grabs Gray by the throat and slams him into the ground.
Then, he knocks the Prince's sword away and sends him flying with a single punch.
Both warriors crash to the ground, defeated.
---
The Immortals Start Falling
On another side of the battlefield, Bolt and Brock fight the Second Demon Commander.
Despite their strength and teamwork, they are eventually outmatched.
The Second Commander defeats them both and leaves them unconscious.
Nearby, Lisa and Lyra unleash their strongest divine attacks on another Demon Commander.
Their attacks are powerful, shaking the battlefield.
But the Demon Commander takes the hits and remains standing.
With a single, devastating counterattack, he defeats them both.
Lastly, Misty and Flair take on the final Demon Commander.
They fight with fire and water, but even their combined effort is not enough.
They are also defeated.
---
The Prince Loses Hope
The Prince slowly stands, gripping his sword.
But then—
He looks around.
Every single one of his allies has fallen.
His soldiers are dying.
The immortals are defeated.
And the Demon King is laughing.
The Prince's hands tremble.
His sword slips from his grip.
He falls to his knees.
His breathing becomes heavy.
His heart pounds in fear.
For the first time in his life—
He feels completely powerless.
---
L vs. The Demon Commander
While the others were fighting, L was battling a different Demon Commander.
Unlike the others, L easily overwhelmed his opponent.
The Demon Commander fell to his knees, defeated.
But then—
A strange power engulfed the demon.
The same power that revived the other commanders.
The Demon Commander stood up again, stronger than before.
L narrowed his eyes.
He defeated the demon once more.
But again—
The demon came back, stronger than ever.
L finally realized—
Something is giving the demons unlimited power.
---
Retreat to the Safe Zone
L knows that something is wrong.
He stops fighting and rushes to his fallen allies.
With a wave of his hand, he creates a massive energy barrier.
The immortals, the Prince, and the remaining soldiers are instantly teleported to a safe zone.
The Demon King laughs.
Demon King: "Running away already? Hahaha! This kingdom belongs to me now!"
L ignores him for now.
---
The Immortals Regroup
Inside the safe zone, everyone slowly recovers.
The Prince stares at the ground, still shaken.
The Immortals look at each other, confused.
Gray clenches his fists.
Gray: "We were winning. How did they suddenly become so strong?"
Lisa shakes her head.
Lisa: "It doesn't make sense…"
Everyone remains silent.
Then—
Gray suddenly looks up, eyes burning with determination.
Gray: "We need to use it."
The others turn to him.
Lyra: "Use what?"
Gray: "Fusion."
A heavy silence falls over the group.
Fusion was a last resort.
A technique that could combine two warriors into one stronger being.
But it was dangerous.
Still—
They had no other choice.
The Demon King had taken control of the battlefield.
They needed to fight back.
And this time, they wouldn't lose.
