Kairos watched with weary eyes as the massive spider summon, Garan, loomed before him. It towered with an intimidating presence, its glossy black exoskeleton glinting under the arena lights, each limb ending in razor-sharp points. Compared to his own summon, Garan felt like a walking nightmare—something born not from magic but from terror itself.
Kairos gritted his teeth.
He knew he couldn't win this fight alone.
With a focused breath, he stretched his hand forward. A pool of dark, swirling smoke materialized beneath his feet, bubbling and twisting like an angry storm. From within it, his loyal companion emerged—a shadow wolf, sleek and menacing, its eyes glowing like twin lanterns in the night.
"Be careful, Shadow Wolf," Kairos said in a hushed but firm voice. "This enemy… it's not like the others we've fought before."
The shadow wolf gave a low growl in acknowledgment, crouching low, its gaze locked on Garan.
