Chapter 84 - Awakening Power × Ultimate Showdown with the Blade of the Black God

[The battlefield trembled as the clash between Yoruomi Sō and the Black God Blade reached a fever pitch. The otherworldly blade wielded by his opponent tore through the air with each swing, while Yoruomi, guided by the power of his enchanted playing cards, began to unleash his latent potential. His eyes grew colder, and an unfamiliar power surged through him - one that didn't feel quite human.

The Black God Blade noticed the change, and smiled ominously without lowering his guard.

"You seem... different," he said in a deep, threatening tone. With a flick of his blackened blade, dark light engulfed the room around them. "But this change... is not enough to scare me."

Yoruomi didn't answer. His consciousness had entered a higher state. The playing cards around him glowed with an otherworldly brilliance, their shapes blurring as if they were transforming into a "second form". The Queen card (Q) spun in midair, weaving an intricate pattern of light and shadow like a demon awakened, exuding an overwhelming pressure.

"Come," Yoruomi whispered. He drew his cards in a flash, and beams of light pierced the darkness like swords aimed directly at the Black God Blade.

He shot forward with blinding speed. Each thrown card radiated destructive power, while the Black God Blade countered with the swirling power of his otherworldly weapon, summoning endless waves of darkness.

"You think you can defeat me?" The Black God Blade's eyes burned with rage as he struck again, this time aiming straight for Yoruomi's heart.

But Yoruomi dodged the deadly blow at the last moment. Every move he made resonated with the light of the queen card, which now spun like a massive roulette wheel in the air, altering the very flow of space.

The Black God Blade's onslaught was fierce as a storm, but Yoruomi's growing speed and precision began to dismantle his defenses.

"You are nothing more than my test," Yoruomi said coldly, his eyes gleaming with merciless determination.

[2] The Black God Blade's Downfall and Yoruomi's Breakthrough Under the immense pressure, the Black God Blade began to falter. He finally began to realize that the boy before him was no ordinary illusionist - his abilities were beyond comprehension.

"Impossible!" he roared, bringing his blade down only to be deflected by a glowing wall of cards. The energy pulse that followed scattered the darkness like dust.

Though wounded, Yoruomi did not retreat. He advanced relentlessly, each movement marked by surgical precision. His second form fully awakened, distorting the space around him. The air pressure shifted; even the smallest particles in the atmosphere seemed to bend to his will.

The Black God Blade's expression hardened. He knew now - this battle could change everything.

"You really think this power will make me submit?" he growled, lunging forward and slashing down with a massive arc of darkness.

But Yoruomi's reaction was beyond human. His cards shifted in the air, forming a radiant wall that deflected the attack. The recoil hit the Black God Blade with crushing pain.

"You have lost," Yoruomi said in a calm, final voice. No pity. Only determination.

[3] The Black God Blade's Collapse and Yoruomi's Control The Black God Blade's face twisted in denial. His once unstoppable blade now lay dormant, unable to respond to his will.

"No! This can't be! I... I won't lose!" he cried - but his voice faltered. Yoruomi's card magic enveloped him completely. The ominous blade fell lifeless in his grasp.

Yoruomi approached in silence, his voice deep and clear.

"You were never really my enemy."

With a simple movement, Yoruomi shattered the Black God Blade's weapon. The fallen warrior crumpled to the ground, his life force vanishing into nothingness.

Yoruomi stood silently on the battlefield, his breath ragged, his face pale. Though victorious, he felt no joy - only the lingering tremors of the power that still surged within him. That dual presence... it was still there, whispering from within.

"This is only the beginning..." he murmured, staring at the fallen enemy. A complex light flickered in his eyes.

Ending Addition: The Black God Blade's Last Words The battlefield was silent. The moment the dark blade shattered, the tension in the air vanished. Yoruomi's shallow breaths were the only sound that filled the blood-scented room.

But just as he began to think, the Black God Blade's body twitched. Yoruomi's eyes snapped towards him, seeing a flicker of reluctance in the man's fading gaze, as if he was remembering something.

"...Tendō Kyouichi..."

The whisper pierced Yoruomi's thoughts. In that moment, he realized that this man was not just an intruder from another realm. His past... ran much deeper than anyone had imagined.

The Black God Blade's finger trembled faintly - reaching for a memory that no longer existed. A memory of someone once close. A distant past.

[His vision blurred, but his thoughts returned to a forgotten time when he fought alongside Tendō Kyouichi. They had once been comrades, warriors bound by honor, defending the Higashigumo Academy together.

He remembered Kyouichi's calm, unwavering nature. Together, they had fought through countless battles and survived against impossible odds. But eventually... their ideals had diverged. Kyouichi chose a different path and the bond was broken.

"Why did you leave... Kyouichi? We were unstoppable..."

Pain flickered in his fading eyes. This bond - once unbreakable - had become his regret, his obsession. He thought he could see Kyouichi standing in the distance, as if untouched by time, his eyes unwavering. Unburdened.

And then, his last thought came:

"But in the end... I betrayed you."

With that, the Black God Blade's mind faded into darkness.

[The Arrival of Tendō Kyouichi] Then, the sound of footsteps came. The atmosphere thickened again.

Yoruomi turned around with narrowed eyes.

Tendō Kyouichi walked across the battlefield, his presence silent but overwhelming. Time seemed to slow down around him. He stopped beside the body of the fallen man and looked at the lifeless face of his former comrade.

His expression was unreadable. No grief. No anger. Just silence, as if he had known this moment would come.

"...Black God Blade," he said softly, his voice low and calm. He did not kneel. He didn't touch the body. He just stood, unmoving.

"You could never let go...not even to the end." He closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them with renewed clarity and turned to Yoruomi.

"He once..." (The scene continues...)
