Inside the Uchiha clan compound,
"Itachi. What will happen after this massacre?" Fugaku said slowly as he appeared in front of Itachi.
"If I showed you the future of the clan, why don't you show me how this would change the results?"
"It would be like this," Itachi spoke neutrally as his Mangekyo Sharingan flared up and he used genjutsu on his father to show him.
After a moment,
"This is what I see happening to the village, what will happen to the clan..." Itachi spoke slowly.
"I see. So, Sasuke and Satsuki, eh?" Fugaku said resignedly, differently from a moment ago when he was facing him.
*poof*
'A shadow clone?' Itachi was surprised. Then, he wiped the blood from his face with the back of his hand. 'Father is my biggest enemy. A fight between Mangekyo Sharingan users.'
Itachi readied himself for what was about to come and disappeared from the streets, continuing his way to his house.
....
Appearing inside his family's house grounds, Itachi quickly took cover as he moved cautiously.
"I'm here." Fugaku's voice suddenly sounded. "There are no traps. Come inside."
Itachi, still cautious, entered the house with his sword in hand.
"Father..." Itachi talked softly as he saw his back.
"I don't want to fight to the death against my son." Fugaku started talking with a sad tone. "I understand. So now you're with them."
"Father... I-I..." Itachi tried to form words, his voice almost breaking.
"I know, Itachi." Fugaku stopped him. "Itachi, make me one last promise."
"That you will take care of Sasuke, Satsuki, and your mother." Fugaku pleaded softly and hopefully.
Itachi walked slowly towards his father's back, his sword trembling in his hand as tears started spilling down his cheeks.
"I promise," Itachi said with a broken voice, almost a whisper between his dry lips.
"Don't fear. This is the path that you chose. Right?" Fugaku said, teaching him even in his cruel end. "And my pain, contrary to yours, will end in a moment."
"Although our ways of thinking are different, I still feel proud of you."
Itachi's hand trembled, almost without strength, as the sword nearly fell from his grip. His tears clouded his sight as they spilled onto his trembling hand.
"You are a good boy, Itachi." Fugaku's last words.
Itachi found the strength inside him as he swung his sword, killing his father in a clean cut, taking everything from himself.
'AAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhggggggg' Itachi's inside him was raging in pain at what he had done, already wondering in that very moment if what he was doing was the right choice.

Sasuke rushed home after class, his thoughts a whirlwind of worry. "I'm going to be so late. Why did it get dark so soon?" he thought, darting through the streets of Konoha. "My stupid sister left with Akane to go to the Yamanaka house."
As he entered the Uchiha clan compound, he grumbled, "They wanted me to go with them, but I don't have the time or the mood to waste watching them play girly games. It's best to come back home and start learning a new ninjutsu to face Akira. I still need to perfect my Great Fireball Technique, damn it."
He paused mid-stride, sensing something amiss atop an electric post. "What was that?" he wondered, looking up. "I could've sworn there was someone there."
Turning his gaze back to the street, he noticed the eerie emptiness and darkened lights. "It's way too early for everyone to be sleeping," he murmured.
Rounding a corner, he froze. Bodies—a lot of them—littered the street. "WHAT THE HELL?!" Sasuke gasped, terror gripping him. "What happened here...?"
He raced home, finding more dead bodies of his clansmen along the way. Approaching his house, he saw the grandma and the old man from earlier, lifeless. "Uncle, Aunt..." Sasuke's eyes welled up with fear and sorrow. "Oh no. Dad, Mom."
He averted his gaze from the gruesome sight and hurried into his house, sliding the door open in one swift move. "Dad!!! Mom!!!" he called out, his voice trembling. "Are you here?!"
Kicking off his shoes and dropping his school bag, he hurried inside. "Dad... Mom..." he yelled, tears streaming down his face as he searched the rooms.
*Thud* A heavy sound echoed from the room beside the backyard. He rushed towards it, his breath ragged. As he reached for the door, terror paralyzed him. "Someone's in there?" he thought, his heart pounding.
With a surge of will, he forced his muscles to move and flung open the door. Inside, he found his father's lifeless body. "FATHER!!!" he cried out in anguish.
*Tap* *Tap* *Tap* Slow footsteps echoed from within the room. He staggered back as a figure emerged from the shadows. It was his eldest brother, Itachi.
"BROTHER. ITACHI... FATHER... THE CLAN... THEY'RE..." Sasuke stammered, his voice a mix of confusion and despair. "I... I don't understand. How could they...!"
Itachi remained silent, flicking a shuriken that grazed Sasuke's left shoulder before lodging into the door.
"Itachi... what are you doing?" Sasuke gasped, fear gripping him.
The silence in the room was painful.
Realization dawned on Sasuke as Itachi remained silent. "Oh no. What did you do??" he cried out in pain.
"Stupid little brother," Itachi finally spoke, his voice devoid of emotion. "You almost made me feel sorry for you." His eyes closed for a moment before opening them again, revealing the eerie design in them.
"Mangekyo Sharingan."

Meanwhile, outside in the clan's streets, Akira appeared with Izumi in his embrace.
"Oh, no!" Izumi cried out, stricken with grief. "They're all dead. They killed them." Tears streamed down her beautiful face as she leaned weakly against her cousin Akira.
"Damn," Akira cursed, his free hand clenching into a fist, veins throbbing along his arm. 'Damn you, Itachi. How could you do this?'
"Don't look at them, Izumi," Akira murmured, gently pressing her head to his chest as she sobbed.
"Akira... huaaa😭. huaaa😭." Izumi wept, gripping his clothes tightly, seeking solace in his warmth.
As Akira comforted Izumi, he noticed the bodies still had their eyes. Refusing to give Danzo or anyone else the satisfaction of claiming the Uchiha bodies or their eyes, Akira decided to burn the entire Uchiha compound to the ground with his dark flame. After all, Konoha had never given them a proper burial, and instead, Danzo had taken them as trophies for his experiments, just like Obito for Izanagi and who knows what else.
It would be better to cremate everyone here, in the last land of the Uchiha clan, as their final resting place, rather than have them dispersed in pieces in the shinobi world as Konoha wouldn't have them in their cemetery.
"Akira... My dad, my mom..." Izumi suddenly cried out in terror. "I need to find them."
"I know. I'll burn all this to the ground, Izumi. Let's go after that." Akira said, focusing his chakra to release a massive ninjutsu.
After a moment, Akira gently set Izumi behind his back and swiftly performed a series of hand signs. "Blaze Release: Great Fire Annihilation," he yelled.
Dark flames spewed from his mouth, engulfing everything in sight. Houses, bodies—anything combustible was consumed by the sea of dark fire. The flames spread relentlessly, devouring house after house.
"Quickly, let's go to your house, Izumi. These flames will burn everything to ashes." Akira said, holding her petite body close and using body flicker.
....
They stopped in front of a house. Izumi quickly opened the entrance door.
"Mom!!! Dad!!!" Izumi yelled, rushing inside.
Akira followed her in, but he also noticed his flames spreading like wildfire around the compound, consuming everything in their path.
