Chapter Title: Fight Against Yourself
Sohan stood straight, his gaze fixed on the trainer before him.
"Your name?" the trainer asked.
"Sohan," he replied calmly.
"Age?"
"Yes, sir. Twenty-one years."
"Your parents?"
Sohan hesitated for a moment. "They are no longer alive."
The trainer nodded. "Alright, take this ball in your hand."
As soon as Sohan extended his hand, the ball disappeared. The trainer observed him carefully before speaking, "Good. You are a B-rank Balance-type Homo Sapiens, Sohan. From now on, you can become a hunter."
Sohan's eyes widened in surprise. "I can really become one?"
"Yes, if you want to."
As he descended from the Hunter Tower, his phone rang. It was Tisha.
"Come to school immediately," she said in a firm tone.
At School…
Siam Sir stood before the students and addressed them, "Today is a farewell day, but this farewell must be witnessed."
Sohan and Tisha walked toward Shakib.
"Sir has a lot to do. Shouldn't we give him a farewell and a card?" Shakib suggested.
"Yes, you're right," Tisha agreed.
"What will you do after graduation, Shakib?" Sohan asked.
"I'll become a hunter."
Just then, Sohel and Mushtaq approached them.
"A hunter? Ha ha! What will you do as a hunter?" Mushtaq mocked.
"Whatever I want," Shakib replied indifferently.
Sohel smirked. "Let's see what you actually do."
At that moment, their teacher intervened and stopped their argument.
Sohel smirked. "See you later."
The Bridge Battle
In the evening, Sohan and Shakib arrived at the field near the bridge, where Sohel and Mushtaq had called them.
Mushtaq grinned. "Do you know why I brought you here, Sohan?"
Sohan looked at him sternly. "Why?"
"To finish you."
Sohan clenched his fists. "Then come at me."
They launched into an intense fight, their punches making the air tremble. Suddenly, Mushtaq grabbed Sohan's wrist tightly. "I have a special ability, Sohan. Whoever I touch becomes my puppet for a while."
Sohel chanted, "Fire Dragon!"
Shakib instantly countered, "Not so fast—Water Dragon!"
The two forces collided violently. Meanwhile, Sohan struggled to break free.
Shakib unleashed his Water-Wind Dragon Claw attack, aiming straight at Mushtaq. "There's no way he can survive this!" he thought.
But at the last moment, Mushtaq activated his defensive armor, enduring the impact. "Ugh, annoying!" he muttered.
Sohan, now free, shouted, "We need to get to Sohel fast! Lucky for us, I can fly!"
He shot through the air toward Sohel. Seeing this, Sohel stepped back in fear. "Unlimited Punches!" Sohan roared, striking him repeatedly until Sohel collapsed to the ground.
"I'll finish you today! Fireballs!" Sohel hurled five fireballs at him. Sohan barely dodged three, but two hit him directly, sending him crashing into the river.
Underwater, Sohan groaned, "My mana is nearly depleted, but I can still use Shadow Hands."
He extended his Shadow Hand toward the bridge, but it faded away. Suddenly, a small boy grabbed his Shadow Hand.
Moments later, Mushtaq appeared, gripping the boy's hand and whispering something before letting him go.
Sohan muttered, "I have to try teleporting my Shadow Hand."
He used it to teleport the boy onto the bridge. But he himself sank deeper into the water.
His vision blurred. "This is it…"
Just then, a mysterious glow caught his eye. Beneath the water, a radiant stone floated. He reached for it and, upon touching it, heard a strange voice.
"I knew you would come, Sohan."
The stone suddenly merged with his body.
"Now… fight against yourself."
To be continued…
