You would usually begin your day by waking up, brushing your teeth, and eating. But today was a little bit different, you actually had to wake up early and wear proper work attire as today was your first day as a new teacher at the popular hero school UA. You ended up getting a job there as a teacher because you had some teaching experience as a professor for another school. Due to the lack of how much they were paying the professors you quit the job and never looked back on it. But suddenly all of that changed when UA requested an opening for a teacher. They decided to reach out to you personally to teach there since you had enough teaching qualities and experience to teach a class full of rowdy students.
After putting on your new work attire you grabbed your bag and left through the door. You weren't too nervous about teaching students who have special works how want to be future pro-heroes, you were nervous about you new colleagues. Let's just say you had a history of not being a talkative person at your old work place. You regretted it for the most part since you wanted to make a couple of friends but you weren't able to since you had nothing in common with them. Sure you could've pretended to agree on the things they liked but you wanted to have a conversation with someone who had the similar likes and dislikes you had.
Once you were finished with your stressed thinking you started to head the direction to UA, you've heard about the high school once or twice from your old coworkers but you never thought too much about it. The acceptance rate is under 1% which was bone chilling when you researched it. You understand it would be hard for students to get accepted there since that was a school made for future heroes, but holy sh*t. What do they even have to do just to get accepted into a school for the future generations of heroes!? Should you even be lucky that they wanted you to teach there? Oh who am I kidding. They requested you to even start the teaching job in the first place.
**At UA High School**
When you finally made it at the high school you were in shock at how tall the building was. "What the fuc-" Before you could say anything else a voice interrupted you leaving you to flinch. "Hello. You must be the new teacher?" You looked down to see a white rat with a suit on talking to you. 'Is this the principal?' a question popped out of your head as you looked at the small figure. "Y-Yes. Are you principal Nezu?" You asked in an attempt to sound as friendly as possible, this was your only chance of getting a stable job, you couldn't take anymore risks on being a whole smartass now. Especially towards your new boss from your perspective you could easily kick him like a soccer ball. But for some strange reason you felt an uneasy aura around him, a scary and uncomfortable one.
"Indeed I am. It's a pleasant feeling to have new teachers at this school. Walk with me, won't you?" Nezu started walking as you followed right next to him. The school was pretty big so you were glad that he insisted for you to walk with him. "Your records say you have experience with teaching university students and you started teaching at a young age of 20 and you are now 29. Almost a decade, that is pretty impressive, but it's not surprising since you did have high grades and were at the top of your class," Nezu started talking as he kept glancing at you every now and then, you felt annoyed but curious of how he all of this information about you life, you hadn't put that much stuff on your resume but only that you had teaching experience.
You decided to ignore it and kept walking with him. The conversation wasn't anything special, he was just asking some questions about your life and other stuff, you know, the usual small talk. "I'll have to let you know your colleagues will be thrilled that there is going to be someone new to join the ranks. Now if you don't mind me asking, why didn't you choose to join the medical field?" At heart you knew he was going to bring up that question but like this question you answered it with the same response, "I found teaching to be quite enjoyable, I know I'm capable to be in the medical field but feel like I should go with the choice that feels right for me."
"Interesting..." he said with a low tone as he finally stopped in front of a classroom, "Alright. This will be your classroom for now on, I'm guessing that you already know the schedule, what you're supposed to teach, and the dormitory." You nodded at all of what he was saying, though the dorm thing was a little surprising but you didn't question it. 'It's probably for protection,' you thought to yourself as you looked at the classroom. "Well I'll leave you to it. Good luck," Nezu walked away leaving you with in front of the classroom starting your brand new teaching job. "Just calm down and relax. I've been teaching for nine years already, these new students can't be that bad-" As you opened the door there was a loud commotion from students.
There were students yapping with each other, yelling and some quirk usage. You knew kids were chaotic but you didn't expect much energy from teenagers who want to be heroes. Actually... you should've. You took a sigh and went over to your desk and slammed your bag down on your table getting all of the students attention. They all sat down at a desk that was near them and they looked at you with a nervous stare. Some of them which because you knew out of all of the students you were going to teach there was going to be one who is cocky and will act all high and mighty. But that was the usual class when teaching at a school like this. "I'm your new teacher Mr. L/N and expect you to understand that this class isn't going to be easy. You're going to be training a lot so you better pay attention."
**Hours Later**
After what felt like hours the school day ended, the class went surprisingly well, sure you had to yell at a couple of students but overall everything went perfectly swell. While you were starting to walk home after a long day you accidentally bumped into someone, "Sorry I didn't notice you were there." You apologized to the person who was in front of you, they had a gray scarf around their neck, black clothing, and their hair was a mess. "Just watch it next time..." The man then turned around and looked at you, he kept staring at you until he spoke again, "If you don't mind answering. Are you a student?" You felt a pang of annoyance as soon as he said that, sure you were 5,6 but it didn't mean that you were that short to be recognized as a student.
"No. I'm a teacher, and before you say anything else I am new," you responded with a neutral tone in voice. But deep down you wanted to throw insults at him but you knew it would be the worst option. "...are you pretending because that won't work," he continues to say. "Excuse me?" Your intrusive thoughts were about to win at the moment, but at the same time if this was your new colleague you had to be nice. "Don't get me wrong, you're pretty short," he starts to add, you then realize that you made him spill his coffee. You tried your best to ignore the spills but he recognized your stare, "You owe me coffee." Out of annoyance you had enough, "You probably got it at the teachers lounge. I don't need to give you anything."
"Well you did ruin my mug," he talked back. "It's just a mug. Get another one," you talked back as well. This time you weren't playing around you were being dead a*s serious about how you're reacting to this situation. "Get platformer shoes," a small smirk came across his face as soon as he said that. You were in shock at what he said, in that situation you would've just swung at him, but this wasn't the right choice, you had to not use physical violence. Only verbal. "Get some good eyes. Those dried a*s eyes need to blink once in a while." The smirk across his face went blank in just a second, I could already tell he was annoyed by my comeback. But who wouldn't? When teaching a class full of immature students you'll learn a word or two about how to insult somebody.
"Maybe you should-" he then suddenly got interrupted by a man yelling out his name. "Shoutaaa! What's up!?" The man had bright yellow hair which was sticking out on top, he must use a lot of hair gel to be able to have that kind of hair style. Anywho, he had some yellow shades on and headphones. The yellow haired man wrapped his arm around dried eyes neck and started to talk and talk and talk... 'This guy sure talks a lot. Maybe I could sneak out of the situation. You know what, that's probably the most accurate decision I've ever made in this chapter- I mean day.'(Breaking the fourth wall. Wonderful!) You walked away slowly from the two men and started to bolt out of the school. You didn't stop until you finally made it back home to your apartment. 'Thank All Might! I thought I would have to talk to more people. But I guess not. Thank you universe!'
Shouta Aizawa POV:
"Great job Mic. You made him run off..." I pinched my nose while Hizashi kept his arm around my neck. "Oh...well I could always see him tomorrow. Speaking of which were you talking to him?" He asked unexpectedly since I never thought he would be interested in peeking through my life all the time, but it was common so I didn't mostly mind. "Yeah. Sure," I don't know if I should've said no because when I looked at Mic he was excited and booming with energy. "Great! You could introduce him to the rest of us!" I felt annoyed and frustrated once he said that, I'm not annoyed by Mic, it's just the new coworker seems like a pain in the a*s and after that incident I feel like I never wanted to talk to him ever again.
Hizashi and I went our separate ways and started to head home, it's quite lonely but I didn't care, I only needed a couple of people to talk to me and that's all. No one at all just me, myself, and I. But... I guess having someone new to talk to would be fine. Wait. No! What the hell am I even thinking about!? Oh forget it. I'm probably overworked from today, these kids are killing me, not to mention that training camp that's coming up. Maybe I'm just nervous, after all, that whole sh*t at Hosu made some concern to me, I know I should trust my gut but this year I feel like it's going by way too fast. Who knows, maybe nothing too bad will happen at the training camp. I hope...
