It's the first working day of the week and also the middle of the month, the company always has its mid-week board of directors meetings. I've been having the thought of making my wife the companies attorney, the previous one has been scheduled for a brain surgery, about two years ago he went under the knife for kidney operation. I want him to retire, he had worked with my grandparents and now working for me. My dad is not into business but a medical doctor just like my mom, though they're both doctors but specialized in different fields. My father is a cardiologist while my mom is a neurologist. My grandparents trained me in the business world from a the age five. My grandma told my parents " don't introduce my grandson to med's and blood, I've got an empire for him to run, go with the sassy girl but not my grandson". Grandma is both autocratic and dogmatic unlike grandpa.
" Mr chairman, what do you say about the analysis" one of the directors asked, I actually wasn't listening. "What do you think Mr Franklin. I redirected the question to him.
" The analysis for the dam construction is flexible, it would be beneficial to the nation and to us but there's some adjustments in the initial plan" said Mr Franklin who's the director responsible for construction.
"Which is? I asked him.
"The initial plan would have destroyed natural beauty of the country but the king said it should be built at the East boundary as to help them stop intruders from their kingdom" he said and him saying ' king and kingdom' got me thinking and to ask " did you say king" I asked.
" Yes Mr chairman". I didn't pay much interest to this project before now because my grandpa approved it but since I found out about my wife's identity, these words find it's way to my skin. " What county is this" I asked further.
" Country N Mr chairman". This is a shocking revelation, my old man is full of schemes.
" Alright let's go with the changed plans Mr Franklin".
"Alright Mr chairman". I smiled to myself knowingly and my phone buzzed, picking it up it's a text message from my wife asking me if I've had lunch.
I stood up walking towards the window to call her, she picked up immediately.
" How are you doing attorney Frederick" at this point the directors were studded at the chairman behavior, he's assistant who knew the one person could make their chairman act reckless is none other than his wife.
"Mr chairman, am good but why did you call? My wife asked
" Is Mrs Frederick not happy to hear my voice" those who were a bit close to him and heard him say Mrs Frederick will think he's speaking with his mom unaware it's his wife.
" Of course I am, thought you'd be in a meeting that's why I texted"
Yeah I am and still is but, anything for you. Tell me do you need anything?. I asked
" Yes, join me for lunch at xxxx restaurant".
" Is Mrs Frederick inviting me for a date" I teased
" If you say so, come quickly Mr Frederick am starving" she said and hung up the call. I turned to the directors with indifferent look " the meeting is adjourned" I said walking out of the conference room. And into my exclusive elevator not bothering to go into my office. I drove off to the address she gave well it's actually my best friends restaurant. When I got there I saw her car parked then informed her I was here, while she said she was in her car. When I got down and about going to my someone called me
"Hello Vic, it's been a while" came the voice I looked at her for few seconds to recall
" Don't tell me you don't recognize me Vic I haven't changed much, just had some little touch to my body" I know that face and the voice sounds familiar now, it's the queen bee bitch from college.
" Yeah I remember Ms Scotland, It been a while" she didn't expect me to address her in such unfamiliar way. "Come on Vic, don't be too formal, we've known each other all through college and...." She was saying but I can't keep my wife waiting
" If you may excuse me Ms Scotland, I got to go" I dismissed her and walked to my wifes car to find her chuckling.
" Gush darling you killed the fun, you shouldn't have walked out on her" my wife said still trying to hold her chuckle.
" I can go back to her you know"
" Ha, let's go in am famished" she said getting off the car. We got inside and the waiter came to get our orders.
" Are you still thinking about what happened? I assume my wife when she was smiling amusingly.
" No, I don't I just saw some baby items and they look soooo adorable take a look" she emphasized and gave me her phone, I also found the baby stuffs adorable. " Do you want something like this or better off than this for our..." I was saying but my wife was smiling to someone at my back I followed her track and saw a guy few steps away.
" His highness, it's so good to see you" my wife said to the stranger whom seems to have a semblance as her. Same oval shaped face and blue sea eyes.
" How are you my baby, I've missed you like forever and you've grown this much" I felt like a third wheel right now but he calling my wife baby didn't sit well with me.
" Darling dear, here's the crown prince of country N prince Arthur Jn and my prince here is my darling husband Victor Frederick". She introduced us but her brother smiled shaking his head silently. " Hey, bro it's so good to finally meet. You got good physic just like a model I see why my little baby sis is head over heels, men you look good" he said jokingly as we embraced.
" You're not left out dude, you're welcome" it never thought of having such an unexpected guest today.

" Your old man never stops thinking about you and bro you got to hold onto her thighs if not the king is watching, I mean always watching" he emphasized on the watching.
