After spoiling themselves with a sanguine venture out at town, another day began to pursue, a regular Friday at school!
Jolting past his front door, Kev struck it back, twisting his head around - Suzuki. They launched past the local park, the subtle zephyr was a juxtaposition to the endless sapphire void up above.

Slouching down in his organized seat, he patiently waited for his homeroom class to end. As the five minute intermission before the next class began, Kev sluggishly began to trail off towards Suzuki, before being barged, and forcefully smashed back down towards his seat.
GAHHH?!
Infront of him stood a decently tall boy with a stuffy, baby-like face. His dark, vomit-green hair reflected his dark green eyes.
"You can call me Eguchi! Nice to meet you... Kev is it?" Spouted out this enigmatic being called 'Eguchi.'
"And.... Who are you?" Pondered Kev,
"I'M EGUCHIII!"
"Are you... relevant to the plot?"
"What?"
"A-ah... Nothing."

"Eh-ehmm... anyway. I've noticed you and... that Suzuki? Girl have been hangin' out quite a bit!"
"Yeahhh... And? Come over to insult her and say I shouldn't be hanging around her?"
"Nah... Not really. I was more-so here because I'm curious about your relationship with her."
"Relationship? If you're asking about if we are dating... We are not. She's all yours on that regard." Said Kev, not wanting anymore to do with Eguchi.
"So... that's how you view her, eh? Well, I want you to know that ever since you started hanging around with her people have began to take more notice in her. If you don't shoot your shot now, people will come to swoop her up!"

Kev strained his eyes back at Suzuki, who was now being hoarded by what seemed to be a semi-popular friend group.
"If you truly don't mind other people being around her, then of course you wouldn't mind them getting all up in her personal space."

Suzuki doesn't seem like the kind of person who'd want people up in her personal space...
As Kev traversed the possibilities, he soon noticed a subtle glare from Suzuki underneath the several people over-towering her.
She's... Waiting for me to... Save her?
He jolted upwards, stroking his blazer past his square table.
"I learnt absolutely nothing from you by the way, Eguchi!"
"I can feel our friendship blooming already!" Replied Eguchi.

Thrusting past the graveyard of students clinging over her, he brushed Suzuki's arm, and crawled her out as if a fish hooked to a bait.
"Eh? Kev... is it? We were just asking her some questions is all... Mind if we finish u-" Pondered a student, with wavy, long blonde hair and a miniscule earing that emanated an ethereal-like glow. Yet, his question was short lived, as Kev made it clear he didn't want himself, or Suzuki involved with them.
He decided to back down, as he lingered a distasteful look at Kev, he realised that Kev wasn't messing around, hurdling Suzuki behind his back. His grip tight, and his eyes trinkling a violent display.
He marched on out of class, and re-entered the same bare class which they usually eat at since the other day's situation with there usual lunch table.
He sat Suzuki down and apologized for his rough behavior.
"I'm sorry I dragged you away like that... It must have been quite a shock.."
"N-no... It's quite alright really. To be honest with you... I don't mind you dragging me around like that..."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing! Just spouting out nonsense..."
Why is it... I feel comfortable with Kev touching me... It doesn't make sense. After what she did... I thought I'd never be able to touch someone again. But I suppose I was wrong. I've only known him for a few weeks now, yet whenever I'm around him, something feels ~ different.
"But really... Thank you for saving me from them-"
"Hey! Before I forget... Do you mind if I could borrow that manga you got yesterday once you've finished reading it?"
I didn't think he'd be interested in it...
"S-sure! But in fact... I've already read it."
"The entire volume?! It must be good then! Ha!"

Man... Suzuki truly has ventured a lot more out of her comfort zone since the first time I met her... It's working, brother! This is it! I can feel it!
