I know this volume felt shorter compared to the first. Some of you might be confused. Hopeful. Or suspicious. Like, "Wait, that's it? Damn weirdo making small volumes!"
Let me explain before you beat me to death or something.
I don't write volumes based on some fixed number of chapters. I write them based on arcs.
First arc = First volume.Second arc = Second volume.
Simple as that.
This arc was about Jinshen's descent, his loss, and the first step toward becoming something a bit more. And what more means? You'll find out.
And now that arc is done. The next? Oh, it's going to be fun, for me.
