Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

BOOM. BOOM.

There should be no sound in the vacuum of space.

Yet something was tearing through it—light, impossibly fast, beyond what the human eye could perceive. It moved like a streak of condensed starlight, and with each pulse of motion, the universe trembled.

Then, suddenly, it stopped.

The light dimmed just enough to reveal a figure within—a woman, ethereal and terrifyingly perfect.

Her brows shimmered with white light, her eyes glowing with crystalline blue pupils. Around those pupils, ancient symbols orbited in a slow, hypnotic dance—runes of forgotten ages, too old for language, too potent for mortals.

Blue and black markings coiled across her skin, flowing like living ink. From afar, the markings converged into vast murals—visions of endless war, cosmic calamities, and civilizations devoured by chaos.

She wore a garment woven from light itself. It clung to her form with elegant disrepair, torn and frayed as if it had endured a thousand battles. Yet no imperfection could mar her grandeur. If anything, the damage made her more divine.

She stood still before an invisible barrier—a transparent wall stretched across the void like glass forged by gods.

Beyond it lay a lone planet.

Ruined. Ravaged. Orbiting it were the shattered remains of once-mighty worlds, broken and adrift.

She gazed upon the devastation with serenity.

And then—she smiled.

At last, a living planet in this galaxy.

She hovered above the celestial sphere, her silhouette wreathed in shimmering, ethereal mist. Eyes glowing like dying stars, she whispered to the void:"This galaxy will do for my reemergence."

Her voice echoed across the dark emptiness, resonating with power and ancient hunger.

She closed her eyes for a moment."I can feel it... this galaxy has a will of its own. But it's faint—too weak to resist me."

She reached out, fingers crackling with cosmic energy as her hand neared the shimmering boundary of the planetary veil.

But before she could make contact—

"STOP!"

The voice was hoarse, ragged, but filled with defiance.

A man staggered forward. His armor was fractured, blackened by burns. Blood matted his hair, and deep gashes ran down his side. Every breath seemed to be his last, yet he stood tall, unwavering.

"What... what are you doing?" he demanded.

The woman turned her gaze toward him, raising a single brow, amused."Taking over this galaxy," she said matter-of-factly.

"I won't let you," the man said, teeth clenched.

Her smile widened."You don't have a choice. Look at you—you're barely alive. You can't resist me. Why not save yourself the pain and let me continue from here?"

Her voice dropped to a whisper, rich with dark promise."Refuse, and the result remains the same...."

She floated closer, her presence pressing on his soul like the weight of a collapsing star."You will die. So choose—quickly. I'm in a hurry."

The man didn't flinch. Blood dripped from his mouth, but he stood his ground."Then I'll die on my feet."

He straightened, eyes burning with purpose."I refuse."

The man's eyes began to glow—softly at first, then brighter with each heartbeat, pulsing like a dying star reigniting.

Energy swirled around him, unstable and chaotic. A desperate final gambit.

The woman narrowed her eyes."Such foolishness," she muttered, almost disappointed."You're too weak to even think about self-destruction in my presence."

She stepped forward and, with unnatural speed, seized him by the throat. His feet lifted off the ground as her other hand pressed against his forehead.

"You'll pay for your insolence."

Light exploded from her palm, flooding into his mind. His glowing eyes dimmed instantly, the power he had summoned fading like mist under the sun.

His pupils shrank in shock."How…? How did you—"

"Dead men don't get to ask questions."

With a sickening crack, she crushed his skull in her grasp, letting the lifeless body fall to the scorched floor below.

Suddenly, the shimmering wall behind him—the planetary barrier—shuddered. Waves of distortion rippled across its surface. It began to fold in on itself, breaking apart in unpredictable, chaotic patterns.

She turned, eyes narrowing.

She hovered in silence, gazing at the lone planet spinning quietly in the distance.

"Now I have to expend more energy than I anticipated," she muttered, frustration threading her voice. Her glowing eyes narrowed as she stared into the dark stretch of stars."But is this galaxy truly worth it?"

At the far edge of the galaxy, space began to convulse. The fabric of reality folded in on itself, destabilizing faster with each passing second.

She clenched her fist."I don't know when I'll next come across another galaxy with such a weak will… I hope this isn't a mistake."

Energy surged from her core in brilliant, pulsating waves. Cracks spread across her skin like glowing fractures, revealing pure energy underneath. Her form blurred, then exploded outward—transcending flesh and form. She became an energy source, a living force, radiating power so vast it enveloped the entire galaxy.

Then—Stillness.

The galaxy froze. Stars halted in their orbits. Nebulae ceased their swirling dance. For a moment, the cosmos stood completely still.

Then, slowly, the galaxy began to absorb the luminous blue energy surrounding it, drawing it in like a thirsty void. Her essence faded, consumed, until not a single trace remained.

Moments later, the transformation began.

The galaxy, once modest in scale—only 30,000 light-years across—started to expand.50,000...100,000...150,000...200,000...550,000...Until finally, it stopped—700,000 light-years wide.

Silence reigned.

Then a voice echoed—not from one point, but from everywhere at once. A disembodied presence that reverberated through the stars, the void, the heart of every celestial body.

"I'm nearly out of energy," it said.

The stars trembled in response.

"Let's take a look at this planet…"

Outside the planet's atmosphere—two pairs of eyes opened.

They did not blink.

They did not breathe.

They simply watched.

the eyes hovered in the void like distant twin galaxies condensed into sentience. Their pupils shimmered with various runes revolving—each blinkless stare a whisper of judgment, curiosity, and hunger.

They peered into the planet, as though sight alone could peel back oceans, continents, and thoughts.

For a long moment, there was only silence.

Then, a voice echoed—not from a mouth, but from everywhere.

"...Interesting."

A pause. As if the entity were pondering fate itself.

"These creatures... yes. They will suffice."

The air around the planet began to distort, reality folding like paper under an unseen weight.

"They will do... for the revival of my D...."
