"Say it again, I'm stuck."
-----------------
The two were bickering by the roadside when the deep roar of an engine grew closer.
A red convertible sports car slowly drove up, its body gleaming in the sunlight like flowing flames.
The sports car slowed down as it approached, eventually stopping right in front of them.
Sitting in the driver's seat was a stunning woman wearing sunglasses, her wavy hair lightly blowing in the wind, her sun-kissed skin glowing healthily in the light.
She wore a low-cut professional outfit that was both sleek and sexy, exuding a passionate tropical allure.
She took off her sunglasses, revealing her captivating eyes and delicate face. Her gaze swept across Zhou Qingfeng and Selena, and a playful smile tugged at her lips.
"Hey... you guys missed the school bus, right?"
The beautiful woman driving the sports car took the initiative to speak, "I'm Jennifer, the new school nurse. Hop in, I'll take you to school."
Zhou Qingfeng was stunned.
Back in China, he attended high school, feeling constantly stressed and exhausted like a dog.
But since coming to the United States as an exchange student, he felt nurtured by Julia's mature care and invigorated by Selena's youthful energy, learning to live more lazily and naturally like a normal person.
The woman in front of him was different, a perfect blend of innocence and allure. Every smile and movement exuded irresistible charm, making his heart race.
Zhou Qingfeng had seen beautiful women before, but only in photos and videos online. He had never seen such a vibrant beauty in real life.
It was as if he was drawn by an invisible vortex, taking a half step forward without even realizing it, wanting to get closer and take a good look at her perfect smile.
However, Selena grabbed him, tilting her head towards Jennifer and saying, "Thanks, but we're skipping school today, not going."
"Why?" Jennifer raised an eyebrow in slight surprise, curious.
"No reason, just don't want to," Selena replied with a stern face, looking every bit like an unmanageable reckless kid.
Jennifer chuckled, "Well, public school isn't exactly a fun place. But, do you have a sick leave note?"
"No," Selena shrugged, her tone full of indifference, her expression even more unapproachable.
"If you don't have a sick leave note, the school will definitely call your home."
Jennifer smiled cunningly, "How about this, give me your names, and I'll write you each a sick leave note."
Selena's eyes widened in surprise; she hadn't expected such an accommodating response from the beautiful school nurse. She hesitated, then asked, "Really?"
"Of course," Jennifer replied with a smile and a shrug, "Who hasn't skipped school before? Right?"
Her tone was relaxed and natural. She casually noted down Selena and Zhou Qingfeng's names, then waved and drove off.
Selena watched the sports car drive away, jumping up and shouting, "Yay... I have a day off to do whatever I want!"
Zhou Qingfeng, on the other hand, stood still, his gaze lingering in the direction the sports car had gone, feeling a sense of loss.
That school nurse was a rare beauty, directly activating his male reproductive instincts.
Her smile carried a certain charm, her words were gentle, and her every movement was carefree and elegant, like a spring breeze, refreshing and unforgettable.
Americans love to drive high-powered muscle cars—big, rough, full of power, with astonishing engine sizes that most people couldn't handle.
Besides muscle cars, the United States is also filled with giant dump trucks—huge hoods, bulky bodies, and rear ends over a meter wide, enough to scare anyone at a glance.
However, this red sports car in front of him was entirely different. It was perfectly aligned with Zhou Qingfeng's... aesthetic.
Jennifer's car not only had a sleek, streamlined shape, with smooth lines and original paintwork that looked brand new and untouched, but the headlights were also large and bright.
Not getting into her car felt like a missed opportunity.
Selena wasn't happy. She stood with her hands on her hips, furrowing her brows, and her tone was full of evident jealousy and dissatisfaction, "Victor, what are you daydreaming about? Did I ruin your moment?"
She wished she could stomp on him a few times, silently fuming. She had shown him kindness multiple times, but he never responded.
Now, he was practically drooling over a stranger right in front of her, which made her fume with anger.
Zhou Qingfeng snapped out of it and replied nonchalantly, "I want to drive that car." He paused, then shrugged, "Never mind, let's think about what to do today. Should we go to the beach?"
"No!" Selena immediately retorted, her tone carrying a hint of scorn, "I've grown up here. Do you think I care about sand and shells? Boring!"
"How about a bar?" Zhou Qingfeng asked tentatively.
"Are you crazy? I'm underage; they'd kick me out at the door," Selena rolled her eyes, clearly uninterested in the idea.
"White Beach Town is so small, it's really boring." She sighed, full of helplessness.
While the two were still deciding where to go, Jennifer's red convertible sports car appeared again like a blazing fire.
