Just as the portal appeared in front of Hermes, it had immediately sucked him in, transporting him to a different world he had never been before.
The potent energy emanating from his sword, originally intended to vanquish the formidable Xarath, had been abruptly disrupted by the portal's sudden appearance.
And as he appeared in this uncharted world, the accumulated energy from the sword had burst forth, unleashing a devastating blast towards whatever was in front of him.
It was only after the attack has been unleashed that Hermes could see the scene of what had just occured. His sword has been swung downward with an unbridled ferocity.
The blade sliced through the air, releasing a deep red aura that headed swiftly towards a creature that towered over the landscape.
The impact was catastrophic, cleaving the creature's massive body into two distinct halves. It was only now, after the dust had started to settle, that Hermes grasped the enormity of his actions: he had just slain a titan. But unlike who he was expecting it to be, it was just some random titan.
The attack was meant to kill Xarath, the leader of all Titans, but instead, it had killed another titan from a different world. And this was due to the portal that had materialized before him, a feat he believed to have been Xarath's handwork.
"Fuck! That bastard!" Hermes yelled. "I was so close to defeating him, how was he able to do that."
The sudden transition had left him disoriented, and he struggled to comprehend the sequence of the events that had brought him to this strange world.
"I don't even know where the hell I am?" Hermes muttered to himself, his voice laced with confusion and a hint of trepidation.
As he took in the unfamiliar surroundings of the place around him, his gaze drifted from the lush, strange landscape to the lifeless form of the Titan body mere meters away from him.
Just as Hermes was looking at the lifeless body of the titan, he had spotted something by its side. Actually something wasn't the right word, as it seemed to be a lady of a sort, and upon seeing this person, a sudden flash of memories had came over him at once.
Without any hesitation, he had mentioned the name of the fellow.
"Dora…" he said. "You… you're alive."
At that moment, he could feel someone sneaking behind him, but before he could react, he had been hit by the back of his neck, causing him to pass out.
…
Moments later, Hermes had woken up, but he found himself in a very dark room with his hands tied by some kind of rope. He tried freeing himself, but he realized how impossible it is. Whoever tied him up must have done a really good job.
Yet, Hermes could always free himself in numerous ways. But so as to not to raise suspicions from those that locked him up, he'll stay binded for now.
Right now, he had many other issues to attend to.
"Where is this place? Why did I see Dora that time? I knew she was dead, but am I also dead too? But this doesn't make sense."
At that moment, a translucent red screen tab had appeared in front of Hermes face, just a few metres from his eyes. And a series of information could be seen displayed on it.
[Detection shows that the user is now in a world called Garlok]
"Well, now I know I'm still alive."
[Distance from this world back to Earth has been calculated to be about 58.8 trillion miles, a total of ten years duration]
"What?! That's too long. How was Xarath able to teleport in just a matter of seconds?"
[Sir, have you heard of magic?]
"Magic? What's that?"
[It is a very interesting power once accessible only to celestial beings and gods. But surprisingly, Xarath could utilize this strange power which he had used to teleport us to this world]
[But that was not all, during the time you were passed out, I discovered that your captors were also in possession of the same power of magic, only that the element seems to be different from Xarath's]
[Currently, I can detect a wild range of magic all over this planet, and from what I observed, it could aid us in our return back to Earth]
"Give me more details on what you found." Hermes instructed, his interest was greatly piqued by the word magic, and he was curious to know more about it.
[With standard, non-magical means of travel, like a spaceship, it would take us 10 years to travel back to Earth]
[With a magical means of travel, the journey could be nearly instantaneous or it could take about a couple of minutes to get us back to Earth]
[For the first option, the system is currently unable to build up a spaceship capable enough of transporting us at the moment. We need a considerable amount of beast crystals to build one. And although that could work, the system is currently down]
"Why is that?"
[After being transported to this world, the power of the system has decreased significantly. Also, the use of the Ranger Sword had taken away most of the energy stored in the crystals powering the system]
[We need not to just upgrade the system, but also find the crystals to build the boat. But the user's ability is limited due to the system power running low. So I think going for the second option would be best]
Sighing, Hermes thought about this for a while. Most of his abilities and powers depends mainly on the system energy. And due to the system running low on energy, he won't be able to defeat most of his opponents.
The highest he'll be able to take out among the titans would be one at most. And it will take a lot of struggling to fight against that single one. Though, with his sword he could have at least have an upper arm against them.
Talking about his sword, Hermes had suddenly realized that he wasn't with his sword. It was with him before he was taken out by whoever sneaked up behind him at that time. But he could still sense its presence, and he realized that it wasn't that far from where he was presently.
"So, tell me about the second option." Hermes said.
[Like I said, using magic could aid us in our journey back to Earth. Within a minute or so, we would have been back in our home. But to do that, we must first learn magic]
"That's great, it will save us a lot of stress and time. Now the question is, how do we learn this magic thing?"
[I don't have much information on the use of magic yet, but once I'm able to, I'll display them out to you. But for now, the first step I know which is the fastest and easiest way is to extract their magic core erotically]
"Wait, so you mean I have to have sex with them to extract their magic core from them?"
[Not the whole thing, only a tiny bit of their magic core is needed so as to not raise suspicions, or a longer duration of sex might drain their whole magic core and cause them to die]
"Wait by them, do you mean male or female?" Hermes asked.
But at that moment, the door had swung open and a group of three people had made their way inside the room.
