At night, the Logan family villa was brightly lit.
Sara Owen, wearing light makeup, stood in front of the villa.
She wore a pink long dress, and a pair of small black shoes under her slender and fair legs.
Her casual attire made her even more pure and charming.
She held a gift in her left hand, and a neatly folded coat in her right hand.
Then, she rang the doorbell of the logan family villa.
When she was in school, Sara often came to play at Yvonne's house. Later, she became busy with work and rarely came.
Tonight, while surprising Yvonne, she also wanted to visit her parents.
Although Sara also came when Gerald Wayne was invited last time, she came in a hurry and didn't prepare a gift.
So this time, she made up for it.
The one who opened the door was a beautiful woman, naturally Yvonne's mother, Linda Logan.
Seeing Sara, Linda was overjoyed.
"Sara, nice to see you again, come in quickly."
"Why did you bring something, you're too polite. In the future, don't bring anything when you come here, otherwise Auntie won't let you in." Linda Logan said upon seeing the gift on Sara's hands.
Sara smiled and nodded, saying that she remembered.
"Auntie is getting younger and more beautiful, I bet everyone on the street will think Auntie is me and Yvonne's sister."
Sara's words made Linda Logan feel delighted.
"You little girl, you've learned to flatter now." Linda smiled and scolded her.
Sara cutely stuck out her tongue, then entered the room.
"Sara quick, come and sit down and eat" Linda said politely inviting Sara to the dinning room.
"Auntie made a lot of delicious food, waiting for you all to enjoy."
Gwen Ryder and Yvonne Logan had already taken their seats, and the table was full of delicacies.
Seeing that Sara had finally arrived, Gwen was overwhelmed with joy.
"Come on Sara, what are you waiting for, come over quickly before we finish the food" Gwen teased Yvonne.
Sara agreed and looked around. She found that there were only the three of them and Yvonne's mother were in the villa, which made her a little disappointed. She wanted to ask, but after thinking about it, she didn't say anything.
She quickly took her seat and began to serve food on her plate.
"I thought I told you three girls to wait until Charles comes back." Linda asked Yvonne.
Yvonne, raised her eyebrows.
"Mom, you should call him and ask him to come back later. Just say that we sisters are having a meal together, and it's not convenient for a man to be here."
"You silly girl, how can you say that? Charles saved your life, how can you still look down on him and not let him come home?" Linda criticized.
Yvonne didn't answer, but picked up her cutlery and started eating.
"Sara, Gwen, let's eat our food, no need to wait for him."
Gwen nodded and whispered.
"Yvonne, well done! How can that stinky thing match us three beauties?"
Only Sara whispered kindly in favour of Charles Wellington
"Shouldn't we wait for him?"
But her words were barely audible, and Yvonne and the others didn't hear her.
While the three sisters were talking, the living room door was pushed open.
"Auntie Linda, I'm back. Are you not done with your work yet? Do you need my help?"
Charles looked at Linda Logan who was busy in the kitchen.
"No need, Charles. You must be hungry, go and have your meal. I'm done with everything here."
Linda Logan urged Charles to go have his meal.
Charles Wellington was indeed hungry and turned towards the dining room, where he saw Yvonne Logan and two others having their meal.
"Hey, we have a guest?"
"Hello, General Manager Gwen" Charles greeted Gwen Ryder with a smile.
Then he looked at Sara Owen but forgot her name.
"Miss... Oscar?"
Seeing Charles Wellington again, Sara Owen almost instinctively thought of the scene where she was exposed in front of Charles Wellington that night. Her pretty face turned red and she corrected him in a low voice.
"My name is Sara Owen."
"Oh, sorry, my bad." Charles apologized and rubbed his head awkwardly before taking his seat and having his meal.
However, to Charles's embarrassment, he found that there was no seat for him at the table.
It seemed intentional that Gwen Ryder and the others had placed their coats and bags on those empty seats, leaving no place for him to sit.
"Is this how you treat your guests? You won't even let me have my meal? Charles smiled wryly.
He could see through the intention of Gwen Ryder and the others.
"Sit here."
A gentle voice came from beside him.
Sara Owen had removed her things from the seat and moved it over a bit, leaving a seat for Charles Wellington.
"Sara, what are you doing?"
Gwen Ryder glared at Sara Owen and complained unhappily.
Yvonne Logan also looked at Sara Owen with surprise.
What's going on with these sisters? It seems like they're trying to undermine themselves.
"If Auntie sees this, it's not gonna be good" Sara Owen explained.
"You're right" Gwen nodded.
Seeing that Charles had already sat down, Yvonne Logan didn't say anything else. She just looked at Charles coldly and said.
"Finish your meal and go back to your room. We don't like to eat with boys."
"Coincidentally, I also don't like to eat with some certain girls" Charles Wellington replied with a tone full of disdain, which made Yvonne Logan very angry.
"What do you mean?" Yvonne's nose was almost crooked with anger.
"Literal meaning" Charles said casually while peeling the lobster with his oily hands.
"You..." Yvonne Logan was furious.
"Yvonne, why bother with him? Let's eat our food" Gwen gave Charles Wellington a disgusted look.
After that, Yvonne Logan and her friends ignored Charles Wellington and chatted while eating, leaving him alone to enjoy his food.
It has to be said that the food in the city is much better than in the village. Especially the big lobster, Charles Wellington ate half a plate by himself.
However, no one noticed that during this time, Sara's peripheral vision intentionally or unintentionally swept over Charles Wellington.
"Yvonne, this time it was really close" Sara said.
"I was so scared at the time. I thought your position as CEO was definitely in danger" Gwen added.
"But who would have thought that in the nick of time, Michael Reed, the head of the Reed family would show up at the last moment" Yvonne Logan said.
"Hahaha..."
"Yvonne, you didn't see Marcel Ridge's face at that time, it was like he had eaten shit!"
"Hahahaha and Zachary Logan, he lost the CEO position that was within his grasp. I bet he's so angry right now that his intestines are turning black"
At the dinner table, Gwen talked about that day's events, feeling very pleased with herself.
"But Yvonne, wasn't Michael Reed brought here by you?" Gwen looked at Yvonne again.
After all, Michael's first question when he arrived at the company today was asking who Yvonne Logan was.
This inevitably made people suspect the relationship between Yvonne Logan and Michael Reed.
"It really wasn't me. I didn't know him before that day" Yvonne said with a bitter smile.
"Then who could it be?" Gwen frowned and carefully recalled the events of that day until her gaze swept over Charles Wellington and she immediately slapped her thigh.
