Chapter 6 - Demi-Human

I woke up before 10 PM, washed my face, and dressed in simple clothes to blend in with the Eldorath locals. I needed to buy Eldorathian clothing soon to avoid drawing attention.

"GATE."

A screen appeared: "Do you want to transfer to your old location, or do you prefer to move anywhere within a 2km radius?" A detailed map of a 2km radius around Flora Inn was displayed. I chose my old location, which transported me to my Flora Inn room. I went out.

"Do you have a private room?" I asked a middle-aged woman. She looked at me.

"Yes, 50 copper coins for 1 hour, or 1 silver coin for 3 hours." I agreed and ordered dinner, even though I was still somewhat full, for Rowan and Elian. I went to the private room, asking her to send them there when they arrived.

Inside, tea was served. After five minutes, Rowan and Elian arrived. I seated them across from me at a round table with six chairs.

"Hello, sir...?" Rowan began.

"Henry, Henry Park," I replied.

"Oh, Sir Henry, apologies for not getting your name earlier. I'm Rowan Silverwood, leader of the Arcane Company caravan, and this is my son, Elian." Just as he finished speaking, the food arrived.

"Let's eat first, Mr. Rowan, then discuss business," I said, smiling. He nodded, and they began eating. We chatted during dinner.

"Sir Henry, do you have enough stock to meet our needs?" Rowan asked. Before answering, I had the table cleared and dismissed the server, leaving us alone.

"Sugar, Black peppercorns, Chili powder, Retrieve," I said. Ten kilograms of pepper and chili powder appeared on the table, and two jars of sugar appeared on the floor.

"You have a Dimensional Storage skill, Sir Henry?!" they asked, surprised. I nodded.

"Please check the quality and weight," I said. They had bought brown sugar since white sugar processing was unknown in their time.

"These are top-quality, Sir Henry!" Rowan said, delighted.

"Sir Henry, do you also have fabric and mirrors?" Elian asked. I nodded and placed the fabric and mirrors on the table.

"The fabric is soft and vibrant, and these mirrors are larger and clearer than what we sell," Elian said, impressed.

"Mr. Rowan, I'd like your opinion on these weapons," I said, taking out a machete, one-handed sword, and long sword.

"These shapes are unique, but the blades are high-quality and well-balanced. They'd be great for fighting beasts. You could sell them to mercenaries for six gold coins. This one-handed sword is also excellent, strong and sharp, worth seven gold coins. This long sword would be very popular, effective in battle; you could sell it for ten gold coins," he explained.

"Sir Henry, how many do you have? I'd like to buy them all, if possible, for 50 silver coins less than those prices," Rowan asked, a bit shyly. I considered selling them at the mercenary guild but decided selling to Rowan would be easier.

"I'll sell them for 80 silver coins less each, five of each, if you give me three sets of clothes and two pairs of shoes," I said.

"No problem, Sir Henry," he said, pleased.

"Elian, go to Sir Alfred and tell him to bring 61 gold coins and 74 silver coins, plus three sets of clothes and two pairs of shoes. Hurry," Rowan instructed. Elian quickly left.

"Sir Henry, if you can get more long swords of this quality, how many could you supply?" Rowan asked.

"How many do you need?" I countered.

"Each Arcane Company caravan has mercenaries, and we have our own mercenary group, the Arcane Mercenary Group. Right now, we have 250 mercenaries, so 200 long swords, if possible."

"Travel to the Terranova Continent, home of great blacksmiths, is very long. There are dwarves in Eldoria, but the best blacksmiths live in the Eldoria Empire's capital. Most buyers are aristocrats, knights, or high-ranking mercenaries. Even Arcane Company can't afford 200 swords from those dwarf blacksmiths," he explained.

"I can get 200 long swords, but I'm only staying three more days. Where are you going next?"

"We're leaving in two days for the Silvercrest Kingdom. We've been in Stormreach Kingdom for six months. Do you have a Communication Crystal, Sir Henry?"

"Communication Crystal?" I asked.

"Yes, Sir Henry. Gnomes invented them. They allow communication over long distances."

"New skill acquired: Communication device," a screen appeared. "Say 'device' to activate the skill."

"Device," I said. A blue crystal, tennis ball-sized, appeared in my hand.

"You have one, Sir Henry. Add me to your list," he said. *How do I add him?* I wondered.

"Let him/her touch your device and say his/her name," the screen explained. I offered him the crystal.

"Rowan Silverwood," I said. "Rowan Silverwood added to list."

He took out his crystal, and I touched it. "Henry Park," he said, and I was added to his list.

"To contact someone, say 'contact' and his/her name while holding the crystal," the screen said. Elian entered with six men in leather armor.

They handed me a small wooden chest with the coins and the clothes and shoes. I opened the chest, finding six gold bars, one gold coin, and 74 silver coins. The gold bars were marked "100 grams" in their script.

"You can go to the Treasury Hall to exchange coins for bars or vice versa. 100 gold coins can be exchanged for 1 platinum coin or 10 gold bars," Rowan explained, noticing my confusion. *That simplifies things. I won't have to melt gold coins anymore.*

I said goodbye, paid 5 silver coins for the food and room, and went to my room to rest.

Got it. Here's the whole edited version with "I put" instead of "nilagay ko yung":

Lying in bed, I smiled, realizing I'd made over 2.3 million in a single transaction. In my old life, I couldn't have saved that much in my entire lifetime.

An hour passed, and I still couldn't sleep. I decided to go hunting in the forest. I changed into my tactical suit. "It's a hassle switching clothes for Earth and Eldorath," I complained.

"New Acquired Skill: Change." "You can change instantly between three outfits you provide." "Provide the first outfit," the screen prompted. I put my casual shirt, pants, and shoes into the screen. "Provide the second outfit." I added the clothes and boots Rowan gave me. For the third, I added my tactical suit and combat boots.

"Simply say 'Change (1, 2, or 3)' to change outfits instantly." *Nice, this skill is convenient,* I thought. "Change 3." Instantly, I was in my tactical suit.

"Gate." I opened a portal to Earth, planning to return immediately to use the 2km radius transfer feature. I transferred to the forest's edge.

"Map."

I checked the map for nearby beast concentrations. The detailed map updated in real-time, showing beast positions. I silently ran into the forest. I saw a group of twelve hyenas in the distance and approached them stealthily.

"Scar-H, gain." Once I was close, I shot them one by one. The suppressor kept them quiet. In under twenty seconds, they were all dead. "Level up, level up," the screen said. I ignored it for now, storing the hyenas in my dimensional storage without removing their cores.

I climbed a tree, jumping from branch to branch. My reflexes were sharp, and even in the dark, I saw clearly. I spotted wild boars at 12 o'clock, 30 meters away, 11 o'clock, 20 meters away, 1 o'clock, 10 meters away, and 3 o'clock, 20 meters away.

(Where the hour hand points indicates the direction; 12 o'clock is in front, 3 o'clock is to the right.)

I switched to my sniper rifle. I shot the boar 30 meters away first. One shot, and it fell. Then, the one 20 meters to the left, also with one shot. Then, the ones 10 and 20 meters to the right, each with a single shot. "Level up, level up, level up, level up."

"Dimensional Storage size upgraded to 200 cubic meters."

I retrieved the boar carcasses for storage. As I approached the last one, I sensed something fast approaching. I turned to see six wolves, one very close. I used all my strength to grab a branch and pull myself up.

"Scar-H, gain." I shot at one, but it dodged. I switched to fully automatic fire, and rapid shots hit them. Some took three bullets to kill, one took five. "Appraisal."

"Moon Wolves (Dead) B Rank." I stored them. "Level up." I checked my status.

"Name: Henry Park"

"Durability: 20"

"Undistributed points: 7"

I put 5 points to strength, 2 points to durability.

I ran deeper into the forest. The map showed a beast 300 meters away. At 100 meters, I climbed a tree, but couldn't see it through the foliage. I jumped from branch to branch, reaching 50 meters. I saw a Black Saber Tooth lying down, seemingly asleep.

I readied my sniper rifle and aimed at its head. As I fired, it opened its eyes and jumped right. It ran towards me, dodging my shots. It was about to pounce, so I leaped to a nearby tree. The branch I'd been on shattered from its attack.

It turned to attack again. I threw a flashbang. It stopped, blinded by the light. I shot it in the head, and it fell. "Appraisal."

"Black Saber Tooth (Dead) A Rank."

I hunted more beasts: six Moon Wolves, two Wild Boars, and a Brown Forest Bear (A rank). I removed their cores, which took 30 minutes. I also discarded the two men's bodies there. I decided to return to the inn.

"Name: Henry Park"

"Age: 27"

"Race: High Human (20% bloodline)"

"Level 14"

I changed into Eldorathian clothes and walked back to the inn. Near the forest's edge, I heard laughter. I climbed a tree and saw two well-dressed men and five guards in leather armor with swords.

The two men were kicking someone on the ground and laughing. A young man lay on the ground, shielding a young girl with wolf-like ears and a tail. "Appraisal."

"Name: Fenris Grey"

"Race: Demi-Human (Spirit Wolves bloodline)"

"Age: 20"

"Skills: Rune Master Engraver, Scroll Master, Stealth"

"Name: Luna Grey"

"Race: Demi-Human (Spirit Wolves bloodline)"

"Age: 15"

"Skills: Gem Refiner, Potion Refiner, Eyes of Truth"

I threw a flashbang. I jumped down and used my rifle's stock to hit the guards and the two men.

I helped Fenris up. The two men were Baron Grimgar Fellbane's sons, the town's feudal lord.

"I'm Henry Park, a traveler," I said.

"I'm Fenris, and this is my sister Luna," he said hesitantly.

"Follow me. I'll treat your injuries," I said to Fenris.

"We heal quickly," he explained.

"Still, come with me. It's dangerous here, and you have nowhere to stay." He looked at Luna and nodded, still hesitant.

At the gate, two guards stopped us. "Identity Token," they said.

"They're my slaves," I said, pointing to Fenris and Luna. I showed my Identity and Mercenary tokens, and they let us pass. At Flora Inn, I got them a room.

"Rest. Tell the attendant if you need anything; I'll pay," I said.

"Thank you," Fenris replied.

"T-thank you," Luna said, bowing. I nodded and went to my room to sleep.
