It has been months since the war between Hikari and the Chinese Communist ended. Now the place that he was helping to was living a happy life. Haziq and the others were so glad that everything ended well even during the battle, their lives were at risk.
Now that everything has ended, Hikari has finally been invited into the new technology experiment that he will take place in.
Hikari has been invited to it because this private company knows about Quantum Memory, and they want to make a further development of Quantum Memory, which they know as 'Quantum World' or 'Overworld.' It is called that name because it was a place where it surpassed human limits and imagination, it seems.
Hikari needs to take a place in it since there are a lot of things that he wanted to find out in there. He doesn't get it why, but it feels like there is something that he needs to find out in there. It feels like something is calling him, and he just straight-up accepted it.

Hikari knocks on the entrance door of the company building. He keeps knocking, but there is no answer. But when he looked around, he finally found a doorbell. So he goes towards the doorbell and is going to ring it.
But before he could, suddenly he heard a man's voice.
"What is your business here? And who are you?"
Hikari can't think of anything. He then showed the email that he received from the company right to the camera of the bell.
"Oh, you're that person."
"Wait a minute, I will open the door for you."
Hikari then waited for a while, and suddenly he heard the door unlock.
"Clack!"
Hikari then reached the door and opened it. He was expecting to see someone behind the door, but as he opened it, there was no one there. But he didn't ask anything, and he then just entered the building.
He continued to walk inside the building and saw several documents. It kind of reminds him of the lab that he was invited to for the Quantum Brainshockwave experiment. But that lab looks different. Maybe all labs look like that.
So he just ignored it and continued walking.
The further he goes, he then passes through the uncounted amount of staff that are currently working around him. Hikari didn't think that it was the staff who contacted him, so he then just went to the door that he saw in front of him.
As he opened the door, he saw multiple machines that were similar to the machine that he had once used in the event before (a machine in the 3rd book of Hikari Origin: Hitaku Quest). He just wonders if that machine has something to do with the experiment, and suddenly the person inside the room talks to him.
"Oh, sorry for the sudden invitation. Welcome to our laboratory, where we do a job to develop a new technology."
Hikari nods and asks that man why he invited him there. So that man then stands up and explains it.
"I heard about the experiment that you were involved in, also about the technology that you also took part in. So far, I have heard that American and Chinese companies once tried to get it. But due to some problem, they weren't able to continue it. Also, it has been heard that they lose a lot of people that worked with them."
"That's why I searched all the way to get in touch with you, Hikari Aigami."
Hikari understood the situation, and he knew very well about what happened with the news.
Just right after the conflict or war between the Chinese and American companies ended, the hackers managed to delete all possible records about what had happened there. Which left nothing but just something that they had seen. No one was able to track it, and no one was able to recover it since there is nothing left about it.
About Hikari's and about the other hackers too. It all feels like nothing has happened before.
Hikari then asks that man,
"If you want to start another conflict, then sorry, but I am going to pull myself from this experiment."
Hikari then turned around, and as he did that, the man then said,
"No, I'm not. I was looking for something. I have one friend that worked with this project before, and he entrusted me to continue this project."
That man then goes to Hikari and gives him a slice of document and also introduces himself.
"My name is Hiroto. Nagashi Hiroto. I'm a junior of the person that created the Quantum Project. He once told all of us about the project that he worked on, and it feels like he died 6 years ago. But his family gave me something after he died."
Hikari looked at it, and he was so shocked as he saw it was a document of Quantum Memory, which was actually on Akaru's hand before. But how was it here? And why does that person have it? Was he Akaru's junior? But if so, why did he appear now after the tragedy that happened 6 years ago?
Without any hesitation, Hikari then asks Hiroto.
"You… Did you know Akaru?"
Hiroto saw a sadness in Hikari's eyes as he said that, but he still tried to keep brave. Hiroto then looked down, and he nodded.
As he did, he then grabbed Hikari's collar.
"You..."
Hikari already grabs Hiroto's hand to stop him, but for some reason he didn't think he should stop Hiroto. He then let his hand off and asked Hiroto.
"Did you know everything?"
Tears came down from Hiroto, and he then nodded again. He slowly let Hikari off, and he then said to Hikari.
"I...If only I were there too.... I'm so sure that we all will be in the same place..."
"It is just because of you... that everyone has been killed..."
Hikari felt really sorry as he heard that. He then steps ahead and explains to Hiroto.
"None of this is our choice. We just have been chosen for it. Even for me, I wished this thing never happened. But well, you can beat me all you want. If that is what will make you find your answer, then go for it."
Hiroto then took a deep breath rapidly, and he looked at Hikari.
"You will never find an answer in a fight. That is his last words for me."
"No matter how many times you fight, you will never find an answer. You can win and lose as many as you want, but at the end, you will never find an answer."
"There is this young boy that joined my team, and he was just as strong as the strongest person I ever knew. He might lose everything, but he will still stand and fight for what he loses, and at the same time, he will try to understand the people around him".
"Thanks to that, he found the answer to the question that he once asked me. Because he was able to become that light. I want to be the one with him and find the answer with him."
Hikari was so shocked as he heard that because he never knew that Akaru had ever said that, which left him in shock and sadness.
Hiroto then giggled as he saw Hikari act and said, "So, it's true about what he said. This boy has a fragile heart." Hikari blushes as he hears that and wipes off his tears.
As he did so, Hiroto then showed Hikari the documents.
"Sorry for that. But let's get straight about it."
Hiroto then opened the document, which was the last part of the document, and the title of that document is.
. Project 3
Quantum World
Quantum World is the world that connects everyone to the Quantum Memory. No brain will get damaged by the brain shockwaves that come once they enter Quantum Memory anymore. Where it won't trigger anything and allow them to enter it without any trouble.
Hikari was a bit shocked as he finally knew that there was actually a way to make quantum memory safe. But even so, what is the point of doing so? Because Quantum Memory is one of the dangerous experiments, it is set to be a private experiment.
Hiroto saw Hikari's serious reaction, and he then asked Hikari if there was something wrong about it. But Hikari just shook his head, and he then asked Hiroto about when the experiment would begin.
Hiroto then showed Hikari a multiples machine that has been created by him for the project 'Quantum World.' Hikari looked at all of that machinery, and he then asked Hiroto.
"Since this machine is connected to there. Then I will need to connect Quantum Memory with it, won't I?"
Hiroto nods his head without any hesitation.
"Yeah, it's true about what you said. But there is a risk."
Hikari knows that there must be a risk that he will take if he agrees to this. But he just wants to make sure what will happen. So he asks Hiroto about that risk.
"The risk of this is. You lose your consciousness. That means you will be trapped in this. I'm not sure about the other effect. But that is just the effect that I confirmed so far."
Hikari looked at the machine, and he was so sure that this was the only way to merge both Quantum Memory and Quantum World. It's almost like creating another world from it. But even so, what kind of world will it be? And what is the purpose of that world? Is it for a weapon? Or is it just a testament?
As those things crossed Hikari's mind. He quickly asks Hiroto.
"I want to know, what is your purpose in doing this? Is it just to see what that world is? Or is there another reason?"
Hiroto understands that Hikari must be cautious about it since Hikari is the person who already knows about both quantum brain shockwaves and quantum memory. Plus, Quantum Memory is something that is planted within his brain. Hikari is the administrator of the Quantum Memory. So if something happens to it, then it will surely affect him.
But just to avoid any bad thoughts about it, Hiroto then just answered Hikari.
"No need to worry. All I want to see is what my senior Akaru is trying to achieve. Akaru is someone that I adore from my college. I'm not sure what he did after he got out of college. But he did entrust me with this, and I want to not give him a false hope."
Hikari understands Hiroto's intention, but he actually never thought of continuing any of it. Mostly after everything that just happened (from HikariOrigin:HitakuQuest). The war is cruel. But nothing can make you run from it. As the run means losing, and losing means dying.
Hikari then looked at Hiroto and asked, "By accepting this, are you sure that you're willing to take a risk on anything that might happen?" Hikari said that in a serious tone, which made Hiroto a bit shocked by it. He could feel that this thing is not just for play. But as someone that has been entrusted to, Hiroto really wanted to see this happen. A successful project. He studied hard just to reach the level he is now, and now is the only chance for him to make a dream of someone he adores come true.
Hiroto nods his head with confidence in response to Hikari's question.
"Yes, I want to. It doesn't matter anymore. I already owned this company, and together I will make it become true."
Hikari was so happy to see Hiroto's confidence, and he then agreed to work with Hiroto. But before he agreed on it, he then asked Hiroto.
"Before that, can I ask you a question?"
Hiroto nods and hears upon Hikari's request.
"Um... Will it be okay if I want to invite someone?"
Hiroto was a bit weird about it. Since he believes that this project is online and private to Hikari. Is there anyone else that knows about this project too? Hiroto then quickly asks Hikari, "What is it? Is it someone else to be invited?"
Hikari nods his head, and he then tells Hiroto that it was someone that he worried would get affected too if something happened to Quantum Memory.
Hiroto understands it, and he then tells Hikari that maybe tomorrow Hikari can ask that person to come with him.
Hikari nods his head, and he is then going to return and rest for tomorrow, but before Hikari steps out, Hiroto asks Hikari.
"Who is this person that will join? Sounds like this person is important to you. Your best friend Or girlirlfriend"
Hikari blushes as he hears that, and he then quickly denies it.
"W-we are not like that!!"
It left Hiroto in a weird and laughing. But he didn't say anything about it. Since that person is really connected with it. Then it will be very good for them. So Hiroto then informed all of his staff about it after Hikari took a leave.
