As Zack ran after Catwoman toward the crane on the eastern side of the warehouse, he fired rapidly from his pistols, trying to keep the guards at bay as they started shooting at them from all directions. Bullets clashed against metal and wooden crates around him, but he kept running, determined to reach the escape point.

Catwoman (jumping over crates gracefully): "Try to stay alive, you trigger-happy maniac!"

Zack (grinning as he fires): "You're saying that while leaving me alone with these guys?!"

Catwoman: "Hey, I'm not the one carrying guns here!"

Zack fired accurately every time a guard appeared in front of him, but he knew that without unlocking the pistols' perks yet, he couldn't use his special abilities with them. He had to be careful with his shots, especially since the guards were wearing light body armor.

He quickly shot two guards in the legs, making them collapse to the ground, then jumped over a metal crate and fired a bullet straight into the shoulder of another guard trying to block his path.

The exit was getting closer, but he noticed three guards standing near the crane, raising their weapons, ready to fire.

Zack (muttering to himself): "Alright, looks like I need to do something crazy."

Without hesitation, he leaped over a low metal crate, then slid across the ground while firing, aiming his bullets at the guards' feet!

Two of them were hit and fell to the ground, while the third tried to retaliate—but suddenly, Catwoman appeared behind him and delivered a strong punch to his neck, knocking him out instantly.

Catwoman (smirking): "You're late."

Zack (catching his breath as he reloads his pistols): "I was doing all the hard work here!"

Catwoman: "Well, no time to argue. Get up!"

Catwoman grabbed onto the crane and jumped up gracefully, while Zack used wooden crates to climb onto the platform quickly.

But before they could fully escape, a black armored vehicle suddenly emerged from the other side of the warehouse, blocking the main exit!

The door slowly opened, and a tall man in a black trench coat stepped out, carrying a massive rifle on his shoulder. He looked at them with a wicked grin.

Zack (eyeing him carefully): "Looks like we've got a new problem."

Catwoman (worried): "That's not just any guard… he's one of Penguin's top enforcers."

Zack (lowering his pistols slightly as he adjusts his gloves): "Well… this should be fun."

Zack studied the man who had stepped out of the armored vehicle, carefully observing how he lifted his heavy rifle onto his shoulder at a slow, deliberate pace—like he had nothing to fear. This guy looked far more dangerous than the guards Zack had dealt with inside the warehouse, making him narrow his eyes slightly as he analyzed the situation.

Mysterious Man (his voice calm but carrying a clear threat): "You two… weren't smart enough to leave without leaving a trace."

Catwoman (closing her eyes in boredom): "Oh, what a brilliant detective you are. Have you been watching us this whole time?"

The man lets out a short laugh, then raises his massive weapon: "Actually, I didn't need to. I knew you two would show up here sooner or later. The problem now is… how do you want to die? Fast or slow?"

Zack wasn't a fan of these kinds of situations, but he had learned that people who talked too much in fights were usually prone to mistakes. So instead of responding, he gave Catwoman a quick glance, nodding toward the crane above.

Catwoman (with a faint smile): "Got it. So, we're playing it that way?"

Zack (pulling out his pistols again): "Of course. Isn't this fun?"

Before the man could respond, Zack fired a shot directly at his face! But the man was quick enough to raise his rifle at the last second, causing the bullet to ricochet off the metal with a loud clang.

The man (smiling): "Really? You think that's gonna—"

But before he could finish his sentence, Catwoman had already vanished!

The man quickly looked around, trying to locate her, but that gave Zack the perfect opportunity to dart swiftly to the right, taking a better position for attack.

Zack (with a mocking smile): "Hate to break it to you, but you're slower than I expected."

Before the man could redirect his weapon, Catwoman suddenly dropped down from above, wrapping her whip around his neck and yanking him backward with force!

The man (struggling to free himself): "Damn… you annoying cat!"

Zack seized the chance and rushed toward the man, swinging his fist hard and landing a solid punch to his ribs, making him stagger back!

But the man was unnaturally strong—he managed to shove Catwoman away, then threw a vicious punch at Zack, who barely dodged it by leaning back.

Zack (smiling as he wipes his mouth): "Well, looks like this is gonna take longer than I thought."

Catwoman (quickly getting up): "I have an idea. Just distract him for a few seconds!"

Zack (sarcastically): "Do I look like someone who enjoys getting punched?!"

Catwoman didn't wait for his reply. She began moving quickly toward the crane holding a massive container, while Zack kept pressing the attack, using an unpredictable fighting style—mixing quick punches with smooth dodges—making it difficult for the man to strike back.

Still, their opponent was surprisingly resilient. In a sudden move, he managed to grab Zack's wrist tightly and yanked him in for a brutal punch to the gut!

Zack (groaning in pain as he stumbles back): "Damn… that hurts!"

The man (smirking): "Didn't I tell you your death would be slow?"

But before the man could deliver the finishing blow, a loud sound came from above—and when he looked up… he saw the container plummeting toward him at high speed!

Man (shocked): "What?!"

In an instant, the container crashed into him, smashing the ground beneath from the force of the impact!

Catwoman (gracefully jumping down): "Big guy… big fall."

Zack (slowly getting up): "Remind me… never to piss you off."

They didn't have time to check if the man had survived, as they heard the sound of more vehicles rapidly approaching.

Catwoman (grabbing Zack by the arm): "No time for compliments—we need to go, now!"

Zack (glancing back one last time, then sighing): "Alright… let's disappear before this gets worse!"

And they took off, leaving behind a trail of chaos—and a mission that was almost a success… with a confrontation with the Penguin looming very soon.

After they got far enough from the heist site, the only sound echoing in the dark street was their heavy breathing. Zack, still gripping his pistols, cast a quick look over his shoulder to make sure no one was following, then stopped running and took a deep breath.

Zack (checking his watch): "12:45… didn't take long to finish the job."

Catwoman (smiling as she leans against a wall, playing with the jewelry in her hand): "For a heist this big, we were pretty damn fast."

Zack (crossing his arms and looking at her seriously): "But there's something I need to talk to you about… something important."

Catwoman (raising an eyebrow): "Interesting. Didn't think you were the deep-conversation type."

Zack (smiling slightly as he holsters his pistols): "Trust me, I'm not. But this matters."

Catwoman (stepping closer to him quietly): "Let me guess—it's about the Penguin, isn't it?"

Zack (nodding): "Exactly. I want to meet you at the theater at 2 a.m. We'll be alone, and no one will hear us."

Catwoman (smirking mysteriously): "An empty, dark place… alone with an armed man… what an irresistible offer."

Zack (chuckling lightly): "If you're scared, we can meet somewhere else."

Catwoman (smiling as she lightly runs her hand over his shoulder): "Scared? You really don't know me yet, Zack."

Then she turned and walked away slowly, moving through the dark alleys like a ghost fading into the night.

Zack (muttering to himself as he watched her go): "That woman… is a real mystery."

He sighed, then glanced at his watch again, thinking about how he'd spend the next hour before the awaited meeting at the theater.
