Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 : Cobra's little cotton jacket was stolen

Hikaru nodded slightly and said,

"Vivi is kind-hearted, lovely, and charming. We fell in love at first sight..."

"After learning about her situation, I didn't need her to ask—I stepped in to help clear the troubles in Alabasta myself."

Vivi added with a bright smile, "Father, Hikaru can make it rain~"

"Rain?!" Cobra's eyes widened in disbelief. This was their long-lost salvation.

Vivi seized the moment, explaining, "Father, you should issue a royal decree tomorrow, placing all the blame on Crocodile. At noon, Hikaru will bring a heavy rainfall that will last for an entire month. That way, Alabasta won't have to worry about water for a long time."

She stretched and yawned, then casually waved her hand. "We're going to rest now, so take your time~"

Without waiting for her father's approval, she grabbed Hikaru's hand and hurriedly left the palace.

Cobra nodded, still overwhelmed with joy that his kingdom had been saved.

A few moments passed before realization struck him.

Rest?! Wait… they aren't already…?!

The thought hit him like a ton of bricks.

His little girl, the daughter he had raised with such care, was about to be taken away.

His chest tightened, an inexplicable frustration brewing within him.

Inside the Palace—Vivi's Chambers

Little Zenny was left in the courtyard outside Vivi's residence, while Robin and the others stayed in the neighboring rooms under Vivi's arrangement.

Tonight's focus, of course, was the beloved princess of Alabasta.

Hikaru had already decided—he would discuss both the future of the kingdom and their marriage with Vivi in her private chambers.

In his view, this setting made the conversation particularly memorable and ceremonial for her.

For Hikaru himself, it was also deeply intriguing—after all, how often does one get the chance to truly get to know a princess?

At that moment, Vivi was lying in Hikaru's arms, absentmindedly tracing circles on his chest with her fingers.

Suddenly, she looked up, her large, innocent eyes filled with emotion.

"Why did you choose me? Why come all this way to help me~?"

Hikaru met her gaze and smirked. "Because I like you. Otherwise, why would I sign a contract under the guise of helping you, just to make you my consort?"

Vivi pouted playfully. "Hmph! You never even tried to court me… You're so unromantic!"

"Oh? Are you saying I didn't?"

Vivi giggled but didn't answer, her eyes full of mischief.

Hikaru's mindset was practical.

Since his power allowed him to grow stronger by forming relationships with the heroines and supporting female characters of One Piece, his plan was straightforward.

As long as they met his aesthetic standards and he approved of them, they were his to keep.

He wasn't just the Thunder God of the Kingdom of God—he was its Emperor.

A harem of three thousand beauties? That might not be an exaggeration.

For those like Vivi and Robin, who were intelligent and adaptable, things would naturally fall into place.

For the more challenging ones—Hina, Tashigi, Momousagi Gion, Big Mom's daughters—he'd 'kidnap' them first.

He had plenty of ways to win them over later.

Would he ever grow bored with so many lovers?

That wasn't a concern.

In a world of extraordinary powers, his goal was eternal life. And he would find a way to obtain it.

If, in the future, he found himself unable to achieve immortality simply because he hadn't met enough goddesses and spent time with them, he would definitely regret it.

The Next Morning

Vivi slowly woke up, her long eyelashes fluttering as she opened her eyes to see Hikaru's gentle gaze.

A shy smile appeared on her lips before she leaned in, offering a soft kiss.

After a long moment, Hikaru finally let go, though Vivi's reluctant expression showed she wasn't quite ready to part.

Her heart felt lighter than ever, and her entire body was brimming with energy.

The two helped each other freshen up. After some hesitation, Hikaru finally stepped out of the room with Vivi supporting him.

A Morning of Teasing

"Ah~ Our lovely princess is finally awake. I wonder how late you two stayed up chatting last night?"

Robin's ever-mischievous tone greeted them the moment they walked out. Her sharp eyes immediately caught the uncontainable joy on Vivi's face, making her smirk knowingly.

"Hmph! Sister Robin, you... you're so mean!" Vivi weakly fought back, refusing to admit defeat.

Robin chuckled, "Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore." Her sweet smile, however, showed she was far from done.

Hikaru didn't bother stopping, instead leading Vivi to the dining table and settling her down.

He then turned his attention to Porche, who was happily munching on her food. Without hesitation, he playfully nudged her.

"So annoying! I'm still eating!"

Porche pouted but didn't resist. Instead, she took a piece of food and held it up to Hikaru's mouth.

As Hikaru ate directly from her hands, she let out another playful complaint, her voice full of faux annoyance.

"Hina is so sleepy!"

A grumbling voice came from next door—it was no surprise, given that Hina's room was right beside theirs.

Hikaru smirked. "Alright, I'll wake you up later~"

Hina's eyes narrowed, her expression stubborn. "Hina won't allow it!"

"It's not up to you," Hikaru teased, leaving her speechless.

Bringing Rain to Alabasta

By noon, the scorching heat of the desert bore down on the kingdom.

Cobra had worked tirelessly, ensuring that the entire nation had been informed overnight.

Naturally, this also meant that the World Economic News Service had caught wind of the situation.

In just a few days, the world would hear the shocking news—Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, had vanished, possibly even killed.

But for now, the focus was on Alabasta.

Hikaru raised his hand, summoning massive, thick storm clouds that soon covered the entirety of the kingdom.

And then—the heavens opened up.

Heavy rain poured down across the land, drenching the drought-ridden nation. Thanks to Hikaru's Devil Fruit abilities, this rainfall would continue for a full month.

Of course, Hikaru's powers had already awakened. If he wanted, he could permanently alter Alabasta's climate, turning it into a land of eternal rain or ceaseless thunderstorms.

But!

No kingdom could survive under constant downpour.

([Even though One Piece hasn't explicitly confirmed that Logia-type fruits can awaken, it makes no sense that they wouldn't—especially given that Akainu and Aokiji permanently altered an entire island's climate.] )

Alabasta's New Divine Consort

Now, Vivi had truly become his divine consort, and Alabasta had become a force under his command.

As Cobra's only heir, it was inevitable that Vivi—or rather, her future child with Hikaru—would ascend to the throne once Cobra passed away.

Vivi had already begun fulfilling her queenly duties:

Bringing rain to the kingdom

Strengthening Alabasta's wealth and power

Ending civil unrest

And now, she had only one more responsibility—to serve Hikaru well and request more rain from him whenever needed.

But governing Alabasta wasn't as simple as just summoning storms.

The kingdom was vast, and Hikaru had many factors to consider:

When to release electricity

When to control the water levels

The delicate balance between rain and drought

Each of these required precise calculations and careful timing.

Ruling a kingdom wasn't just about power—it was about mastery and control.
