Early the next morning, Minato Namikaze set off with Veigar Koshima and Kakashi Hatake, bidding farewell to Ryouji Takeuchi and his wife.
"Mr. Ryouji, we'll be on our way now."
At the entrance of Yamago Village, Minato spoke to Ryouji Takeuchi.
With a slight trace of sorrow on his face, Ryouji nodded and replied, "Lord Minato, thank you for everything this time."
Minato simply waved his hand dismissively, signaling that there was no need for formalities. "Well then, farewell!"
At the same time, Veigar and Kakashi also waved to Ryouji and said, "Goodbye, Mr. Ryouji. Take care."
Without waiting for a response, the three quickly turned and departed.
Watching their retreating figures, Ryouji turned to his wife, Nanako, and said, "Nanako, we should start preparing to take Tomoo to Konohagakure for treatment."
Hearing her husband's decision to seek medical help for their son in Konoha, Nanako instantly burst into tears and nodded. "Yes, let's go right away."
The night before, after assessing Tomoo's condition, Minato, who was not proficient in medical ninjutsu, had given Ryouji a piece of advice: take Tomoo to Konoha Hospital. It was the only way he might wake up.
Afternoon.
News quickly spread throughout Yamago Village that Ryouji Takeuchi was willing to sell his house to gather money for his son's treatment. The villagers, grateful for the Konoha shinobi who had restored their water supply, did not sit idly by. They pooled their resources, offering whatever help they could.
Their actions were not only in gratitude for Ryouji's efforts in bringing Konoha's aid but also because the villagers were deeply united—and because Tomoo had ended up in this state while protecting the village.
Two days later.
Minato, along with Veigar and Kakashi, returned to Konohagakure. Standing before the grand entrance of the village, Veigar found himself already looking forward to his next mission beyond its walls.
After submitting their mission report and collecting their reward, Minato said, "Tomorrow, you both have the day off. Make sure to get some rest. The day after tomorrow, we meet at Training Ground 44 at nine in the morning."
"I have a surprise for you."
Hearing about their day off, Veigar and Kakashi responded with different thoughts but the same answer. "Understood, Minato-sensei."
Minato smiled. "Alright then—dismissed!"
Then, with another chuckle, he added, "I'll be off first."
After Minato left, Veigar couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement for the surprise Minato mentioned. He turned to Kakashi and asked, "Kakashi, what do you think Sensei's surprise will be?"
Kakashi, as composed as ever, replied, "No idea."
Then he simply stated, "I'm heading home."
Veigar waved. "See you then."
"See you."
With that, Kakashi swiftly departed.
Having been away from home for quite some time, Veigar returned to find his place covered in dust. He immediately set to cleaning, working from noon until evening.
After grabbing a satisfying meal outside, he stood once more in his now spotless home.
Nightfall.
On the way back, Veigar had asked Minato numerous questions about the Rasengan and received plenty of guidance. However, having so many questions meant he needed time to organize his thoughts and work through each one systematically during his day off.
When it came to applying and developing the Rasengan, Veigar dared to believe he could surpass even its creator, Minato Namikaze.
After all, he had watched the entirety of Naruto.
Moreover, his unique ability—Phenomenal Evil Power—allowed him to merge it with the Rasengan. Thus, Veigar intended to make the Phenomenal Evil Rasengan a staple of his combat style, systematically developing every variation of the technique he knew from his knowledge.
But knowing the forms of Rasengan was one thing—training to master them was another challenge entirely.
4 AM.
Veigar was already up, running through the streets of Konohagakure.
As he ran, he repeatedly practiced controlling the Phenomenal Evil Rasengan in his hand.
Once someone learns a skill, the best way to improve is through repetition—training the muscle memory until the action becomes second nature.
At present, Veigar could use the Phenomenal Evil Rasengan proficiently, but true mastery—being able to wield it at will—would require more effort.
6 AM.
After running another lap around the village, Veigar spotted someone preparing for their morning taijutsu training: Might Guy.
At the same time, Guy noticed Veigar, whom he hadn't seen in a while. Instantly, he ran up, calling out enthusiastically, "Veigar!"
Seeing Might Guy's excitement, Veigar couldn't ignore him. Building a good relationship with Guy was nothing but beneficial to him.
After all, Might Guy was the man who nearly ended a war with a single kick. When it came to taijutsu, who dared claim they were superior to him?
"Good morning, Guy!" Veigar greeted with a smile.
"Long time no see, Veigar!" Guy responded, beaming with energy.
Then, noticing the sweat trickling down Veigar's body, he immediately concluded that Veigar had been training for quite some time already.
Without hesitation, Guy asked, "Veigar, have you been running for long?"
Veigar nodded. "Not that long. Just a little bit before you."
Guy took his words at face value and immediately declared, "As expected! To become stronger, I must work even harder!"
Then, raising his fist passionately, he shouted, "This… is youth!"
Watching Might Guy, Veigar suddenly found himself feeling a bit envious.
He envied Guy's attitude towards life—his unwavering positivity.
He envied Guy's enthusiasm for training—his unrelenting passion.
To others, Might Guy might seem like a fool, an idiot, or a simpleton.
But to Veigar, he represented perseverance, unbreakable will, boundless optimism, and a pure heart.
How many in this world could truly claim to possess such qualities?
Even Veigar himself had to admit—he could not compare to Might Guy in this regard.
"Guy, if you have time, let's train together!" Veigar said, smiling at his companion.
