"Who sent you?" Della made her voice as menacing as she could. The intruder glared back at her defiantly.
"I suppose it doesn't matter. This is meant as a warning. We don't take kindly to your kind gathering in large groups like this."
"Are we breaking any laws?" Alexander asked, tightening his grip.
"Let's just say the are some unspoken laws that some of us among humans have taken upon ourselves to enforce. For example, this many werewolves gathered in one place is considered an act of war, and we are responding appropriately."
Alexander and Della exchanged a look. What on earth were they dealing with here? A group of fanatics? Rogue humans? Vigilantes?
