Mirelah;
I walk into the courtroom, minutes after Queen Velnara left my room to give me space to get ready, and once I step into the court, there's confusion on everyone's face.
"You… Princess Mirelah?" One of the council members calls, and I turn to him. I give him a tight smile before curtsying to King Damarion who is sitting on his throne, and from the corner of my eyes, I can see Liriel.
She's also gawking. Because my arms are spotless, and I'm not limping.
It really irritates me how these people allow her to be present for private matters when she's not a part of the family.
By royal standards, Liriel is not supposed to be here. But I'm not ready for that drama now.
If Queen Velnara didn't say anything about it, I won't either. My focus should be on why I've been summoned here.
"Mirelah, how are you able to stand straight? And what happened to the burns on your hands? "King Damarion questions with a curious look on his face, and I take a deep breath.
