Chapter 57 - chapter 56

Hamar woke up early in the morning, just as the second sun was created. He sat up, seeing an unfamiliar room, he had been assigned an old abandoned house.

It wasn't in the worst condition, but it was clearly abandoned, there were cobwebs everywhere and a stuffy atmosphere.

Hamar could deal with it, especially with his aura body, it wouldn't harm him however, he still wanted to clean it.

Hamar sat up and started to moved, using a broom to exfoliate the whole room, dislodging all dust and webs. The air was filled with particles when Hamar started his movement.

He held out his hand, and started moving In a circular motion, using his aura he created a vortex that sucked in all the particles floating. Hamar then pushed it out into the sky, a bright light like a fire going up into the sky, dissipating leaving a smoky cloud.

Hamar looked at his work, satisfied, but didn't stop. Hamar then focused on the building itself, it had little light, probably meant to be for safety which Hamar did not need to worry about. Hamar went into the living room and looked up, pouring aura into his eyes and seeing into the structure of the building.

Looking into the structure, Hamar could see that the roof could be cut open and be stable. He grabbed his sword and held it back, gathering aura and calculating where he needs to cut.

Then with one smooth motion Hamar swung his sword, releasing aura blades which cut the ceiling in exact measurements. The whole ceiling was cubed into small bricks which dropped into a neat pile below Hamar.

Seeing the dust created, Hamar used aura to create a vortex to push it all away. Now the whole roof was open, sunlight could go into easily, fresh air penetrating the stale building.

Hamar saw the rough looking aesthetics and decided that this was a job for a professional from now on, he'll get someone to make a tarp over the hole, letting sun and air through but covering rain.

Hamar, looked at his handiwork, while rough, and felt satisfied and went to get Hafar and perhaps some others for training.

He walked out of his house, into the street. It was just a dirt path but he could see further into city Hou had already started paving the paths.

Walking through the streets Hamar greeted the few people he saw, they were now his neighbours, he should be nice to them.

Finally Hamar made it into the centre and could see where Hou lived. It was a large, but not opulent, stone building. Most building that were for civilians were made of wood and plaster but How's house was fully stone.

Hamar didn't use the front door but directly went to a balcony above. He stepped into the air, aura solidifying below his feet. He then stepped up to the balcony, knocking on the door.

"Sir Hou, are you there? Do you know where Hafar is?"

Hou woke up, later than he usually did but he did not have any specific plans today. He heard Hamar outside his balcony, so he rose. Hou shook and his robe came out of his body, clothing him instantly.

He opened the door to the balcony, seeing Hamar standing in the air with his hands behind his back.

"Hello Hamar, Hafar should be helping his parents, they wanted to start a farm. Should I send you there?"

"Oh no, just send me close by, I'll walk the rest, thanks."

Hou smiled and shook his head, holding out his hand swiping it. He created a gateway and pushed Hamar through it, releasing him out into the fields.

"Thank you Hou" Hamar still thanked Hou even if he could not hear.

Hamar looked where he was, it was a bright golden field of crops, in the distance he could see a partially destroyed building. It looks like an old watch tower, he assumed that was where Hafar was.

He deactivated his aura, falling down to the ground. He landed, crouching his knees, causing a small dust cloud to burst up.

Walking through the fields, Hamar cut a path with his aura, not only chopping the crops but the dirt into a nice path. Hamar walked through with his arms behind his back taking in the beautiful view.

The crops grew golden with the light of the morning sun, the heat on his face slowly rising. Hamar picked up his pace, seeming to walk at same speed but actually moving much further with each step.

This was a part of Hamar's footwork, inspired by a memory packet he was given by Yue. It seemed like he was walking normally but instead he moved a long distance each step, causing a peculiar juxtaposition.

Hamar, walked forward, until he came in front of Hafar's building. It was a large building made of large stone bricks, it was mostly intact but you could see some holes.

He stood in front of the wooden door and took a breath. He then knocked on the door lightly, a resonant clack sounding out.

From inside Hamar could hear a shout and he smiled lightly. Using his aura, Hamar could enhance his body and head Hafar and his families bickering.

Hafar opened the door, seeing Hamar stood outside with a sly smile. Hafar hugged him, greeting him into his home.

"Master! I thought there was no training today?"

"Can I not see my disciple? No training for you, but if you want to join I'll do a training session with the guards here." Hamar flicked his disciples forehead, shaking his head.

"Of course you can, do you want to have breakfast with us, I might join later I'm busy helping my parents today."

"I'll come in and intrude then" A sly smile forming on Hamar's face.

"As if you're intruding come in"

Hafar brought Hamar into the building. It was a cold interior and very utilitarian but one could see that the family was trying to make it their own.

On the floor was a brightly patterned rug, clearly this was now a home.
