Planet Luminaria — Celestial Sect
A gentle breeze rustled the translucent silk curtains that adorned the grand hall of the Celestial Sect's main palace. The moon hung like a silent sentinel above the towering spires, casting an ethereal glow upon the cold marble floor that reflected the starlight like glass. The grand throne hall itself was quiet, save for the subtle hum of ancient enchantments embedded into its walls. At the center of it all sat a man whose presence demanded reverence without a single word.
Kael Darkstar, the Sect Master of the Celestial Sect, lounged upon a regal throne carved from obsidian and inlaid with shimmering gold. The throne bore the image of a roaring lion, its eyes glinting like rubies—an emblem of power and dominion. Draped in a luxurious silver coat embroidered with cosmic patterns, Kael resembled a being born not of flesh but of starlight and divine authority. His chiseled face, untouched by the passing years, held an otherworldly serenity. Eyes closed, cheek resting on his left hand, he exuded a calm that veiled storms of ruthless calculation.
The silence was broken by the respectful voice of a robed attendant.
"Sect Master," the assistant said with a bow, "Lady Morgana seeks your audience."
Kael's eyes opened slowly, revealing pools of deep violet that shimmered like the void between stars. His expression was unreadable, lips set in a thin, emotionless line.
"Hmm," he hummed, the sound low and indifferent. "Let her in."
"As you command, my lord," the attendant said before turning and hurrying away with light steps.
Moments later, the sound of deliberate, confident footsteps echoed through the hall. Entering with a regal bearing was Morgana Darkstar—first daughter of the Sect Master, bearer of the Extreme Ice Physique, and the Holy Daughter of the Celestial Sect. Dressed in silver and blue robes that clung to her lithe frame like a waterfall of frost, she was elegance and command personified. Her long, midnight-blue hair flowed behind her, and her icy amethyst eyes were sharp with pride and veiled pain.
Like a cold empress surveying her court, she strode forward with her head held high. Upon reaching a respectful distance, she bowed slightly, her voice even and refined.
"Greetings, Sect Master."
Kael's gaze did not soften. His voice was as frigid as the mountain peaks surrounding the sect.
"I hope you have a good reason for being here," he said, skipping any familial address. The throne room seemed to grow colder.
Morgana's façade flickered for a brief second—just a twitch at the corner of her lip—but she masked it well. "I apologize for the untimely request," she said, her tone calm though her fingers clenched tightly inside her sleeves, "but I believe this matter is of great importance."
"Very well. Speak."
Her eyes gleamed with a sliver of hope, a rarity in her otherwise expressionless demeanor. "I have discovered a compatible companion for my Extreme Ice Physique."
Kael leaned forward slightly, for the first time showing a trace of interest. "The Mirror of Destiny reacted?"
"Yes, Sect Master," she replied, her lips curving into the faintest smile—an attempt to share something precious.
"Where is this individual located?"
"In the Kingdom of Aurora. He is the third prince, of royal lineage. I believe the resonance between us is genuine."
Kael's nod was almost imperceptible. "Very well. I shall send a letter to King Lionheart. You may leave."
"Thank you... Sect Master." She bowed once more, though this time there was a noticeable tremble in her voice, and then she turned to leave.
Kael remained silent, watching her go. The hall grew empty again, but not in silence. A ghost of memory stirred in the shadows.
He turned his gaze toward the moonlight pouring through the crystalline windows. For once, his stoicism faltered.
"My love…" he murmured into the night. "Your daughter has grown strong... too strong. I am sorry I could not be the father she needed. But perhaps… perhaps now, she will find someone to offer her the care I never could."

Meanwhile — Morgana's Residence
The moment Morgana stepped into her chambers, the weight of her controlled demeanor shattered like thin ice underfoot. She slammed the door behind her, her body trembling. With a cry that had been building for years, she collapsed onto her bed.
Tears streamed down her cheeks, soaking the satin pillows beneath her.
"Why can't he just be proud of me for once?!" she cried into the silence.
All her life, she'd lived beneath the cold gaze of a man revered by millions, yet she had never known the warmth of his approval. Her achievements, her sacrifices, her power—none of it ever seemed to matter to him.
"I gave up everything just to earn your approval!" she choked out, clutching her temples as the pain in her heart mirrored the one seizing her head.
Her sobs turned to screams.
"Am I not your daughter?! Am I not worthy of your pride?!"
The walls did not answer. Neither did the stars.
"Why are you so indifferent to me? Why… WHY?!"
The mirror in her room cracked under the pressure of her spiritual energy, frost forming along its shattered edges. Her reflection stared back at her with wild, desperate eyes.
"Huff… huff… No, I can't break now. I'll become stronger. Stronger than anyone else. Then... then maybe he'll finally see me…"
Her expression twisted, a smile forced through clenched teeth.
"Yes. Once the Academy begins, I'll prove to the entire continent that I am not useless. I'll show him... I'll show them all..."
She clenched her fists so hard that her nails drew blood.
This was the beginning of Morgana's descent—one born not of darkness, but of loneliness, neglect, and a desperate need to be seen. A journey marked by obsession, power, and inevitable tragedy.
But the future is ever-changing... and no one yet knows the storm that brews beneath her smile.

Back with Kael Darkstar
An hour later, the same attendant returned, this time bearing two sealed parcels wrapped in divine silk. With a bow, he presented them to the Sect Master before quickly retreating.
Kael opened the first one with a casual flick of his hand. His eyes scanned the parchment and he scoffed.
"The Supreme Sect again. Their arrogance grows with every passing season," he muttered with disdain. "Soon, they will become a threat too great to ignore... and I shall erase them from the continent."
He tossed the scroll aside and turned his attention to the second parcel. As his fingers unrolled the elegant seal, his usual impassive face faltered.
His violet eyes widened.
"What…?"
Lines of sacred text written in an ancient dialect pulsed with subtle light. Symbols that should not exist in this world danced upon the scroll. Information about a being… one not born of this plane. One who had crossed into their realm from a Divine Planet, beyond their history.
"A divine royal…" Kael whispered. His tone was grave.
The scroll contained details about a mysterious young man currently living within the mortal kingdoms—one whose presence cannot be detected by fate itself. He was not recorded by the heavenly tablets, nor marked by destiny.
A variable.
Kael's expression darkened. "This… is going to be troublesome."
He folded the scroll carefully and whispered coldly, "I must recruit him. If not… then he must be eliminated before he becomes a threat."
His hand clenched the scroll tightly as thoughts swirled like a maelstrom. He underestimated fate once. He would not do so again. He was a ruler, a conqueror, a man who bent even the stars to his will.
"He may come from a divine lineage… but even gods bleed," Kael said, voice laced with menace.
Humans believe only what they can see, not what they're told. That belief is what kills them. So Kael refused to believe someone could threaten him
A shiver ran down his spine as he spoke those words. He paused, eyes narrowing.
Was it fear?
No… it couldn't be.
He brushed it off as nothing more than a passing sensation. But deep within the threads of fate, the wheels had already begun to turn. And the choices made this night would echo far beyond the stars.
Kael Darkstar believed himself the master of destiny. But fate… had other plans.
