Someone inside his land. Someone he trusted. The realization made Elias's blood run cold.
"I have to find her." Elias stood up, his mind racing. "Dorian will sacrifice her under the blood moon to bring back his mate."
"How do you know that?" Lyra asked, her eyes narrowing.
"Amara told me. A bird warned her." Even as he said it, Elias knew how crazy it sounded. But after everything he'd seen, a talking bird seemed almost normal.
Lyra nodded slowly. "Ravens are agents of death... or change. Either way, we need to move quickly."
Outside, howls rang through the forest—more urgent now. His pack was being surrounded, and their best weapon had just been stolen.
And it was all his fault.
