**POV of Jack Frost**
"Shit, my head hurts."
After being blinded by the light from the holographic panel, I lost consciousness.
"Oh, it's slippery."
I tried to regain my balance, but I quickly fell to the ground, or more precisely onto ice.
I took a moment to observe my surroundings after this small unpleasant incident.
"A clearing?!"
No.
It wasn't just a clearing, but something intimately connected to me.
I can feel it.
Unconsciously, I placed my hand on my chest, and my eyes were drawn to the ice beneath my feet.
The moonlight illuminated my environment, darkened by the night, and I could see a young teenager with snow-white hair and blue eyes.

"J... Jack?!" a name came to me instinctively, but I unconsciously frowned.
I didn't know why, but I find that the name Jack doesn't define me entirely.
*Grrr* As I tried to understand this strange feeling, I suddenly received several memories flooding into my head.
It happened so suddenly that I involuntarily let out a groan of pain while holding my skull.
Faces, names, people, emotions, and especially the moon.
"I see, Jack isn't entirely me."
Jack Frost is just my current state.
For years, I was Nightlight, a luminous young boy created by Tsar and the Lunar Tsarina, the parents of the Man in the Moon, to protect him from Pitch Black.
Unfortunately, I lost my powers... No, I gave them up.
"My feelings for Catherine weren't a joke back then... sigh." I couldn't help but scratch my neck in an attempt to chase away the embarrassment.
At that time or in that life, I had no real knowledge related to complex emotions like romantic love.
I was literally created for a purpose, and romance had no place in it.
Despite that, I started to deviate from my goal and desire more mortal things after my accidental liberation with Pitch Black.
Nightlight... No, I wanted to grow up and grow old with Catherine.
It's a shame that fate had other plans for us.
"Given my appearance, I'm a teenager... Should I also give up my powers like Nightlight if I want to grow up?!"
This question scares me a bit, but it's not my priority, and there's no way I'm giving up my powers like Nightlight to grow up.
I've been an adult, and it's not that great.
Especially since it's said that Nightlight's most powerful attack could create a light as strong as 20 suns.
So, the price of remaining an eternal teenager seems tiny.
I should discuss this with Peter Pan someday.
Outside of Nightlight, I don't have any particularly exciting memories from the perspective of a person like John Morton.
My life as Jack Frost is literally filled with mischief and fun, and that of Jackson Overland is even worse.
So, I brushed the snow off my clothes before instinctively grabbing my staff next to me and taking flight.
...
The icy winter wind hits my clothes and face during my flight, but it wasn't an unpleasant experience.
On the contrary.
I found myself unconsciously smiling at this feeling that I had only known through memories.
"Wow, I've realized humanity's oldest dream!" I shouted to the clarity of the moon while executing a perfect aerial pirouette before continuing on my way.
I had no idea where I was going, nor the time period, and even less my location.
This #### guy literally threw me randomly.
This resulted in me flying during a winter night without a real objective.
It took several hours before I arrived in a town.
"Sigh. At least I'm in a modern era," I said with a sigh of relief.
Because of the clearing, I thought I was starting this life in the era of Jackson Overland's rebirth as Jack Frost.
That could have been ideal to begin my legend among mortal children, but I love technology too much.
I don't think I can last long without the Internet.
I landed in an alley, away from prying eyes, before nonchalantly stepping out into the street.
As a guardian, I'm supposed to not be able to interact with mortals.
But I'm a special case now.
"I can feel it... This flame burns within me, it's hungry," I whispered, instinctively clutching my chest.
The Divine Fire or Divine Spark.
Since my complete recovery of Jack Frost's inheritance, I quickly felt its presence within me.
It's literally slowly changing me into something more than a simple guardian.
Unfortunately, I can't really use it or interact with it at the moment.
Why?
Because I'm too weak!!
According to my memories as Jack Frost, a guardian needs faith.
Otherwise, he's invisible and can't make direct contact with intelligent life forms.
The Divine Fire is the final result of the evolution of divine energy, which itself draws its power from the faith of intelligent creatures.
Unfortunately, I skipped steps.
I literally obtained a Divine Fire without having believers or divine energy.
I'm somewhat similar to the god Cyrus, but I haven't inherited any divine domain, divine essence, or divine realm.
In summary, I'm a demigod... No, less than that, since I have neither believers, divinity, nor divine strength.
I'm something like a divine being with a Divine Fire.
"I really need to balance myself, but I don't know how to convert faith into divinity... sigh."
My instinct tells me that this won't be a big problem, since the Divine Fire is born from divinity.
I just need to get used to it and analyze it.
In a way, I'm like a person who bought an engine without fuel or a guy who has a car without an engine.
Either one can easily guess what he's missing to make the machine work.
"Uh, kid!!"
As I walk, lost in my thoughts about the future, a hand was placed on my shoulder.
"Huh?!" I involuntarily let out a strange sound due to the unexpected surprise.
"Relax."
"I told you we should have just called him without approaching."
"Idiot, you saw that he wasn't listening!"
The two people who called out to me launched into a passionate little discussion, forgetting about me.
I wanted to intervene, but their two heads are very familiar to me.
"Wait a minute, is this place Gravity Falls?" These words left my lips involuntarily.
"See, I was right!!"
"Yes, this kid isn't from around here."
Shit.
