"Henry, listen to me, don't do anything yet. It's better to wait for the Guardians to get here and help before you do anything," said Cecil through the communicator.
Henry kept flying at high speed, not paying attention to what Cecil said. He completely ignored him, focused only on saving Eve. His plans weren't going the way he wanted.
Henry turned off his communicator, cutting the connection with Cecil.

GDA
"Sir, we've lost communication," one of the GDA agents said.
"Damn it, that bastard doesn't listen," Cecil muttered, slamming his fist on the table.
"And what about the Guardians?"
"They'll be here soon, sir."
"Great, that's a relief."

Nolan was holding Eve by the neck. They were now a little farther from the place where Nolan had kidnapped her, currently in a park in the city center, surrounded by buildings.
There were a few people in the park, completely unaware of what was happening.
At one point, Nolan noticed some military jets flying overhead. He glanced at the jets and the helicopters circling around him.
(Sound of jets cutting through the sky)
"Cecil, you never learn," Nolan muttered, narrowing his eyes.
Still holding Eve, he continued.
"They think they can stop me, control me. All this effort... for what? It's all a joke. Humans are a joke..." Nolan said.
"Why don't you shut up and go to hell?" Eve shot back.
Nolan squeezed her harder in anger when he heard that. Hardly anyone had spoken to him like that. Even though he considered himself superior to humans, this made him furious. But he didn't kill her. He could snap her neck at any moment.
"You've got guts, a lot of guts..." Nolan said with a grin, despite everything, admiring her courage and resolve in the face of death. His love for Debbie was genuine, and this human woman had a personality similar to his wife's. It was in Viltrumite culture to be drawn to strong, warrior-like women.
"It's really a shame..." Nolan said, looking at Eve.
"Go screw yourself," Eve retorted.
(Sound of helicopters)
Several helicopters were approaching them, and the noise made Nolan even angrier.
"Annoying little flies..." Nolan muttered.
---
"Sir, we've got him in sight. What are the orders?" said the helicopter pilot.
"The orders are to monitor the area and Omni-Man," said the captain.
"Understood."
The pilot saw Nolan walk over to a nearby light pole, still holding Eve.
He grabbed the pole with one hand and ripped it from the ground as if it were paper.
Nolan held the steel pole and hurled it at the helicopter like a spear.
The pole shot toward the helicopter at high speed.
The pole pierced the helicopter, hitting the pilot in the chest.
The pilot's body exploded on impact, leaving only the lower half of his body. The helicopter then exploded, leaving just one left.
(Boom)
"Oh my God..." muttered the other helicopter pilot.
Eve saw this and grew even more terrified of Omni-Man.
"Pathetic..." Nolan murmured.
The wreckage from the exploded helicopter fell to the ground, striking several unfortunate people along the way.
The other helicopter barely avoided the explosion's debris but was lucky to be far enough.
"Son of a bitch..." the second pilot muttered, furious at seeing his friends die this way.
He released the helicopter's safety lock and began firing wildly.
"Die, demon!" the pilot yelled, finger on the trigger.
The bullets rained on Omni-Man's body, causing no damage.
Nolan shielded Eve so she wouldn't be hit by the bullets. But it wasn't that he cared about her. She was just useful for his plan.
---
GDA
"Oh my God..." Cecil muttered.
The other members in the room were watching Omni-Man kill innocent people. The pole he threw caused a lot of destruction. It wasn't just the pilot who died—other people had suffered from the helicopter wreckage falling.
"Sir... this is terrible," Donald said.
"I know..."
They all watched what Nolan had just done. No one wanted to believe it, but the images were right in front of their eyes.
"God help us," one of the GDA members said.
---
The helicopter fired desperately at Nolan, trying to kill him.
Again, Nolan walked over to another iron pole.
He did the same thing again—grabbed the pole and hurled it at the helicopter like a spear.
The pole struck the helicopter, sending it spiraling out of control, falling to the ground due to the loss of its tail.
"Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!" the helicopter started beeping.
The pilot unbuckled his seatbelt. He wanted to use the parachute, but he was too close to the ground.
He jumped out of the helicopter and began free-falling.
"Ahhh!" the pilot screamed as he fell.
When he was almost hitting the ground, a strong hand grabbed him.
(Boom) The helicopter crashed immediately afterward.
The pilot didn't understand what happened. He looked up and saw someone looking at him.
The person looked at him and gave a gesture with his head, indicating he should aim at the target.
"Thank you..." the pilot murmured.
Henry didn't pay much attention to the pilot. After saving him, he turned his focus back to Nolan, who was just a few meters away.
He flew down and landed nearby, causing the ground to crack.
The atmosphere was tense as Henry and Nolan locked eyes.
But Henry's attention was fully on Eve. Seeing her in this state filled his heart with rage.
Eve looked terrified.
"It's going to be okay, Eve. I promise," Henry said, trying to calm her down.
Nolan glared at him coldly.
"You Kryptonians are really pathetic. Your compassion and love were the cause of your extinction, last son of Krypton."
"Shut up..." Henry said, his anger rising.
"It's been so many years... I didn't think there were any Kryptonians left. You truly are a rarity. The council will be very pleased when I hand you over to them."
"I'll be waiting to see you try," Henry replied.
He looked at Eve.
"Let her go, please... Don't involve her in this. You want me? Then take me, but don't hurt her."
"Hmm, it wouldn't be a bad trade... a weak human for the last living Kryptonian."
"But I think I'll pass..." Nolan said.
Nolan grabbed Eve, and it seemed like he was about to do something.
Henry felt terrified that he might hurt her.
"Please... No," Henry said, full of fear.
Nolan threw Eve away.
"Ahhh!" Eve screamed in pain, spinning uncontrollably in the air.
After she was thrown, Henry flew after her to catch her.
He didn't take his eyes off her. That's when he noticed something strange.
A red portal began to materialize in the direction where Eve was heading.
"Damn it..." Henry muttered in frustration, realizing the situation.
Nolan just watched from a distance, a pleased expression on his face.
Henry tried to reach her, but...
Eve passed through the Flaxan portal.
Henry caught up with her and entered the portal, holding her. She was badly injured, with deep marks on her neck.
"Eve..." Henry murmured sadly, tears in his eyes as he saw her like this.
"Henry... you came?" Eve said weakly.
Before Henry could pull her out of there, the portal started closing.
"No..." Henry said, turning to see the portal closing. He could only see that damned face watching from afar as it shut.
"Damned..." Henry muttered angrily.
After the portal closed...
"Where are we?" Eve asked, panicked.
Henry helped her up. She was hurt but not enough to be immobile.
They looked around.
The environment had a reddish hue, very different from Earth. The sky was blood-colored, and the ground seemed like sand.
Far from where they were, there was a type of city with massive alien buildings and large walls surrounding them.
They were looking at the Flaxan city from a distance, taking in the differences of this place.
"Let's go, Eve. We have to get out of here... We need to go back," Henry said.
"How are we going to get out of here? What if we never come back..." Eve said.
Henry looked at her and held her hand.
"We're going back... I'll get us out of here, I promise."
"How?" Eve asked, hopeless.
His eyes briefly glowed red.
Henry accidentally activated his heat vision due to his emotions but deactivated it immediately, causing no damage.
"I'll convince them to let us go, whatever it takes."
Henry held Eve and started flying.
On the way to the Flaxan city, Henry noticed something: his powers were slowly fading. It was almost imperceptible, but he could feel it. Being away from Earth's sun was weakening him. It would take a few years before he lost his powers entirely.
If he stayed in this dimension for too long, he would soon be like an ordinary human—weak and powerless.
But until that happened, he had plenty of time to figure things out. And when the time came, he'd leave.
Eve had her head resting on his chest.
"I can't believe you came all the way here for me," Eve said.
"Of course I came. Did you really think I'd leave you here alone?"
They were so close to each other. Their relationship had made such a leap recently.
Eve asked awkwardly.
"How long do you think we'll be together?"
Henry looked at her and answered.
"I hope that even when the sun dies, we'll still be together."
