Chapter 32 - Chapter 32

Ethan woke up when it was already past nine a.m. His and Marcus' bodies were intertwined together, the whole bed messy. Last night, they were tossed to nearly dawn before going to sleep. Marcus always used to get up early, but this moment also did not wake up half a point of signs. The good thing is that today is a Saturday. He does not have to go to work and is lazy.

Carefully retrieved the hands and feet and helped Marcus tucked in, did not wake him up, Ethan went out of bed, into the bathroom to take a shower and wash after the spirit was finally better, into Marcus's room to look at him still sleeping, estimated that there is not an hour and a half can not get up, and so bored in the living room wandering around, and finally walked into the kitchen, check the refrigerator reserves, remembered them! They hadn't eaten at home in what seemed like forever, so they changed into their outerwear, grabbed their keys, and headed straight out the door and up to the supermarket.

They had been living together for a few months; Ethan would occasionally make a meal at home when he was in the mood, and Marcus was also very supportive of his handiwork; as long as he made it, the essential meal would help him sweep clean, even if he usually couldn't eat so much at one meal at all, he also gave him Ethan's great young master face, and would also compliment and praise him. This gave Ethan very much a sense of achievement for a few points. He also gave him a face and complimented him, which gave Ethan a great sense of accomplishment. It was a pity that they were too busy with their work, so they didn't have many chances to do so.

When Ethan returned from the supermarket with a big bag, he met an unexpected person in the apartment building elevator.

Ethan stood outside the elevator door, waiting for the elevator, absentmindedly thinking about which dishes he would cook in a while. The elevator door slowly opened in front of his eyes, and when he saw who was inside, Ethan was slightly surprised, as if he didn't expect it at all. The other person, his good brother Lucas, was already so embarrassed that he wanted to close the door and pretend he didn't see him.

Although Lucas knew that Ethan and Marcus had moved in together and had the address of their house, he had never come here before. Now that he suddenly appeared here, coupled with the fact that the two of them disagreed, Angus, Ethan, of course, didn't think he had come here to look for himself. He didn't look like that, and there was also Angus beside him, who was interested in watching the good show.

In the end, Lucas greeted him first with a stiff upper lip, "Brother...what a coincidence..."

Ethan frowned and asked him, "What brings you here?"

Lucas stammered and couldn't tell, but it was Angus beside him who smiled and opened his mouth: "General Manager, from now on, we will be neighbors on the upper and lower floors. We live on the same unit's upper floor above the General Manager. The General Manager is welcome to come and visit if he has time."

Ethan keenly captured the keywords and ignored Angus, only asking Lucas, "You live together?"

Lucas nodded depressingly and honestly admitted, "Yes..."

"...You come up here with me; I want to talk to you."

Angus was almost sticking to Lucas's side without moving an inch. Ethan could not shoo him away; he could only let them enter the house together. Marcus's room door was still closed tightly; it should be that he was still awake. Of course, it was better this way. Ethan didn't want him to meet up with Angus again, either.

Gesturing for Lucas to take a seat on the sofa, Ethan completely ignored Angus, who was restlessly darting his eyes around and skimming over the door of Marcus's room a few times. He asked Lucas seriously, "You moved? Why didn't you tell me? Where's the house I gave you before?"

"The house here belongs to Angus...before your apartment was rented out..."

Ethan felt like he was going to be pissed off by this inconsiderate brother, he initially thought that he was having fun with Angus, as he said, but he didn't realize that it had developed to the point of cohabitation, and then again...: "Rented out? You rented out the house to what? Are you that short of money?"

Lucas mumbled and didn't know what to say, and Angus turned his attention to Ethan and said, "Lucas is short of money, and you don't know that? It's all because of the general manager; if the general manager is willing to give back Lucas, Lucas would not be reduced to renting out a house and relying on others for support...."

"Shut up! You don't talk nonsense!"Lucas interrupted him in displeasure, upset that Angus was talking to Ethan in such a tone.

Of course, what he said is also the truth; Lucas and Ethan both have their grandpa's shares of the company, but grandpa felt that Lucas was too unreliable; before he became a family, his share of the company let Ethan in charge, once upon a time Lucas spends the whole day to idle, using Ethan to give him a large number of credit cards, with how he swiped, just since he was in the Lysol parking lot for Angus thing with Ethan. It was only since he was in the parking lot of Lysol that Angus and Ethan did not get along; Ethan, in a fit of anger, his credit card was also stopped, so the original money was like dirt; the male son is now reduced to relying on a little bit of dead wages every month to live, but also really pathetic.

Angus skimmed his lips and muttered, "I'm not lying," before closing his mouth.

"You think so?"Ethan frowned and asked Lucas; initially, he had planned to wait for Lucas to stabilize his work in the company after the shares were back to him. There was no need to wait until he became a family, but Angus's things out and let him think that Lucas, this kid, is unreliable, only to dispel this idea, and by the way, even the credit card has been stopped for him, but Lucas did not react at all to it, but it is now! Angus had come accusing himself, and Ethan was angry that Lucas would tell Angus about what had happened between the two brothers.

"No, really," Lucas hurriedly explained," Brother, it's OK for you to be in charge of those shares on my behalf; I don't care, but it's just that my hands are a bit tight, and Angus said that he bought a house here, so he moved in here to live together..."

"You're living in his house? You're that generous to let someone else support you?"

"It's not my cousin's house that the GM lives in."Angus choked him righteously.

Ethan raised his eyes coldly to him and said, "Arthur and I are legally married."

"I could be married to Lucas, too."

"Ahem-" Lucas coughed loudly in shock, unsure if he was too surprised.

Ethan's face sank a little deeper as he asked Angus, "What the hell are you doing buying a house in this part of town specifically?"

"Just a coincidence," Angus shrugged," The house was bought before I remembered that Cousin Arthur seems to live here too."

Coincidence? Such bullshit Ethan does not believe but looks at Angus's face arrogantly, recognizing that he can not take him to look; also does not bother to say more; the big deal is that in the future and Marcus will be around him, so he asked Lucas again, "You rent the house to what people?"

Ethan still likes the apartment there very much and has a cleanliness fetish. He doesn't want his house inhabited by some inexplicable people, so he is also more annoyed with Lucas's behavior of cutting off the people beforehand.

Lucas heard him ask this, and his reaction was even stranger. He seemed unwilling to say; Angus again snatched open, "A single man called William. I heard that it is the general manager you and Arthur's cousin's friend ah."

Before Ethan rolled his eyes, Lucas, who gave Angus a hard stare, was busy skimming off the responsibility: "It was Angus who did all the work; by the time I knew about it, he had already signed a contract with William. I didn't know anything about it."

"William is a good person, courteous and clean; there is nothing wrong with having him help the general manager to look after the house," Angus seemed not to mind at all how obnoxious he was, smilingly said:" And he repeatedly guaranteed that he would take good care of the house, renting it to an acquaintance is always better than renting it to a stranger. Unless the GM doesn't consider people friends anymore..."

As Angus spoke, Marcus suddenly pushed open the door to his room and came out, loosely dressed in a bathrobe, his hair still wet and freshly showered. His cold eyes swept over the few people in the living room. He finally walked over to Ethan and sat down, asking Angus, "You rented Ethan's house to William?"

Angus caught a glimpse of the ambiguous mark on his neck, paused, averted his gaze, and grunted softly, "Lucas was the one who said he wanted me to help him find a tenant, and he didn't specify who he couldn't rent it to."

Marcus inclined his head and asked Ethan, "How about breaking the lease and kicking someone out?"

Lucas and Angus froze simultaneously, obviously not expecting him to say that, but Ethan laughed, "As you wish."

Marcus was satisfied with Ethan's answer, and the corners of his lips went up, "Forget it, don't bother, let him stay if he likes; you're staying at my place from now on anyway."

"Whatever you say."Ethan's tone was one of total indulgence.

Back to Lucas, he felt his goosebumps fall all over the ground. Angus's eyes flashed a flash of obscurity. Cousin Arthur would have time to smile gently, but only to Ethan...

He deliberatee rented the house to William originally wanted to give these two people to find pain,I did not expect that in the end the pain seems to become his own instead.

Ethan glanced at the odd looking Angus and patted Marcus's hand lightly, reminding him,"Go inside and change your clothes, don't catch a cold,I just went to the supermarket to buy ingredients,I'll cook later."

Lucas pulled Angus to his feet and said with Ethan,"We're going back first too."

Knowing that both his brother and Marcus didn't treat Angus well,it wasn't good for him to stay here much longer, and after saying hello,he pulled the man and left straight away.

After leaving the door,Lucas shook off Angus'hand and questioned him,"Did you just say those things on purpose to anger my brother?Renting the house to that William and specially buying the house above Marcus's house were also on purpose? You lied to me about giving up on Marcus?"

Angus pulled his mouth away and sneered,"What's the point of saying that when you knew and acquiesced."

  ******

Marcus changed and came out,his unwelcome guest already gone,he walked into the kitchen and saw that Ethan was already busy, passing him things as he went along and talking to him,"What's going on with your brother?Didn't he and Angus meet in London? Why is he suddenly hanging out with him?"

"I don't know,"Ethan was furious at the mention of this, and the attitude of that psychopath Angus today made it clear that he was still interested in Marcus, which made him even more furious:"Forget it,I don't care about him,he can't take in what I say right now,and if I say too much it's going to make him resentful. He'll be disgusted if I say too much."

Marcus laughed lightly,"Your tone is so sour, your brother is really lucky to have a brother like you."

"He is in a blessed state and doesn't know it,where can he find such a gentle and good brother like me."

Marcus nodded,"Your gentleness is always in the wrong place."

Ethan was stunned and froze for three seconds before reacting to what he meant by that, turning his head to look at him and smiled,"Hey,I originally thought you were just upset about being trolled last night, but now I suddenly feel like you're not too small to be jealous."

Marcus admitted matter-of-factly,"So what if I am?"

"Good, that's an improvement,I'll make you some more tasty treats for lunch."

Ethan's eyes were full of laughter as he looked at him as he spoke,Marcus nudged the stove to the side,"You move faster then."
