The midday sun beat down as I trudged along the sidewalk. Overall it was still quite brisk out, but the direct sunlight could still feel pretty warm.
Adding all those items to my backpack didn't seem like much when I purchased it, but combined with everything else I've been lugging around… the weight is starting to wear on me.
