Chapter 137 - Chapter 137: The Unseen War

The night was alive with the hum of the city, but Ochieng's mind was colder than steel. Brian working with the Sinclairs? That wasn't just betrayal—it was an open declaration of war.

He exited the Emerald Club without another glance at Seline. He couldn't afford distractions, not now. The battlefield was set, and hesitation meant death.

As he slid into his Rolls-Royce, his phone buzzed. Tielen.

Tielen: Boss, there's movement at the docks. The Sinclairs are loading something big. We intercepted a message—Brian is there.

Ochieng's fingers tapped against the leather seat. His voice was calm, but his eyes were ruthless. "I'm on my way."

--

A mist rolled in from the sea, cloaking the abandoned shipping containers in eerie silence. Ochieng stepped out of his car, his black trench coat swaying with the breeze. Tielen, Jeff, Linet, and Wendy were already waiting.

Tielen handed him a suppressed pistol. "Brian is inside that warehouse. Sinclair's men are guarding something important."

Ochieng smirked. "Then let's take it."

Like shadows, they moved.

---

Brian stood in front of a steel crate, barking orders to the Sinclair guards. His arrogance was the same as ever.

"This shipment goes out in an hour. If Ochieng shows up, kill him on sight."

A voice cut through the darkness.

"You always did talk too much, Brian."

The room fell silent. Ochieng stepped into the dim light, his presence commanding.

Brian's smirk faltered. "You should've stayed hidden."

Ochieng's gun was faster than words. Bang. A guard collapsed. Chaos erupted.

Tielen and Jeff opened fire, Linet moved like a ghost, slashing through enemies with her blade, and Wendy took out snipers before they could react. The Sinclairs never stood a chance.

Brian tried to run.

Ochieng was faster.

He grabbed Brian by the collar and slammed him against a crate. "Did you really think you could betray me and live?"

Brian coughed, blood staining his lips. "You… you don't understand… The Sinclairs… they're just the beginning."

Ochieng narrowed his eyes. "Explain."

Brian laughed weakly. "You think the Sinclairs are your only problem? There's someone bigger. Someone who wants you gone more than they do."

Ochieng's grip tightened. "Who?"

Brian smirked. "The Syndicate."

A gunshot rang out.

Brian's body went limp.

Ochieng turned. Seline stood at the entrance, a smoking gun in her hand.

She whispered, "I warned you, Ochieng. This is bigger than you."
