Seth sees the message saying, Player may choose entry reward from the following list.

3. Xianxi body tempering pill (Level 2)
Seth was pondering why the pill was here already, but shrugged and chose the armor upgrade. Might as well continue to grow the equipment and choose rewards based on his performance.
He sees his leather armor shine as now he has a full leather armor suit on his entire upper body, with metal pauldrons on each shoulder, his legs are now fully covered by leather reinforced armored pants with metal knee caps, and his boots were now heavy duty soldier boots as well. He has on finger-less gloves with a metal plate on the back of each hand.
He grinned at the adventurers armor he has seen in many media and was glad to have this.
He then sees the message return as he finishes checking out the upgrade. He grins as he reads and goes into a full blown excited smile at the potential this new challenge gives him for potential growth.
PLayer has entered the Goblin Cave dungeon, for each achievement completed gain one extra reward choice at the end of the challenge.

Seth eyes all the rewards and grins widely, "Well with those kinds of rewards how can I refuse!"
He draws his katana and enters the cave. Already seeing some goblins, seeing them he estimates them to be around 2-3 in stat average. But this is the first floor. Given how there are three floors. He there are two ways the difficulty will increase. Either they grow their stats by 1 or 2 points per floor. or they multiply per floor.
Knowing that he is on master mode, it might be the multiplier per floor. Meaning he will need to hunt every goblin he can to ensure he grows as much as possible per floor.
He rushes the goblin trio before they notice him and manages to decapitate two of the three. The third one brings up its short sword and shield in a panicked slash, but it soon joins its friends as its headless body slumps to the ground.
Seth grins at the efficiency he has in hunting them now that he is fighting monsters that are weaker than himself. Especially after all of those desperate fights where they were around his strength, just above it, or really above him.
He will ensure to go over every basic maneuver of his katana sword arts while he hunts. He goes along the cave and takes care of goblins left and right. Each one barely has time to swing a sword, stab with a spear, or try to block with a basic wooden shield.
None of the goblin fighters last more than two swings against Seth.
He finally finds the end of the floor and finds this floors boss monster.
A goblin commander. This one is a 5ft tall goblin, with a metal kite shield, a long sword, actual metal plated armor, and a helmet helping cover his head as well. He looks around and growls as he is smelling a lot of his kin's blood all over the dungeon.
Seth grins and readies his blade. The way the goblin moves and handles itself its stats must be around 4 to 5 on average. Meaning he has found something to actually give him a fight.
He emerges with a blur as he swings his blade down. The goblin barely brings its shield up in time as the sword screeches off of the metal. However the difference in the metal objects is soon made clear. Seths sword is perfectly fine after its upgrade. And the Goblins shield is made out of cheap iron as it now sports a long dent and slash mark across its surface.
It grunts as Seth brings his katana around for another slash. This time it blocks with its sword. But Seth's katana bites into the long sword as well, showing the difference in quality between their weapons once again. Soon they clash over and over again. The Goblin barely keeps up with Seth, but soon it is sweating hard as its gear is sporting numerous cracks, cuts, and gashes all over it. Seth is barely breathing hard as he works on combos he has been letting get rusty from his martial arts lessons.
He brings his blade up for one more combo and lets the upcoming 30 hit flurry of blows rain down on the goblin.
It tries its best to survive but eventually, its shield breaks apart, and its sword is cut to pieces, while its armor can no longer hold back the blade as the final 10 hits cut the goblins body to ribbons.
Seth grins at the kill as he approaches the entrance to the second floor.
He sees the system message appear and reads, Player has cleared the first floor of the Goblin Dungeon Challenge! Will you stop and accept current rewards?
Seth looks at the system, then at the stairs to the second floor, and says, "Are you kidding? I'm just getting started! Let's add up my stats from hunting this floor and go to the next!"
The system acknowledges Seth's wishes and shows him his stat growth from this floor. And Seth practically feels his body adjust to the growth he just went through.

With his new stats Seth was ready for anything the next floor could throw at him. He was eager to see how powerful the second floor goblins were to maximize his predation skill!
He walked down, unaware that the system was watching and eagerly doubled the amount of goblins as their stats doubled. Now the player had a harder floor with better rewards. As was intended by its creator.
