Chapter 23 - Who Are You Sending...?

It seems she got scared.

Bai Ningning turned back and silently said sorry in her heart.

Little sister, I hope you didn't hurt yourself when you moved down on the Z-axis.

After the room quieted down, the loud boy officially began to speak.

First, he stated that now everyone belongs to one club, although they are divided into departments based on their original club names, they are already a unified family within the club.

Then he made some grand promises, saying that because of President Aoying, the club's funding would be sufficient in all aspects, and they would occasionally organize some budget-heavy club activities to ensure they achieve great things again, blah blah blah.

The promises were quite effective, and everyone in the activity room couldn't help but feel excited, not caring much about the disappearance of their original clubs.

After some pleasantries, he moved on to the rules.

"I know everyone used to belong to different clubs, and each club had different rules. But since we are now one club, the rules naturally need to be unified. After all, with so many benefits brought by Aoying, we should at least show some effort and not embarrass her, right?"

The boy's speech wasn't particularly eloquent, but everyone was in a good mood and planned to listen to him continue. Because the benefits he just mentioned were indeed very tempting, no one could refuse such good conditions.

Bai Ningning listened absentmindedly, either staring straight ahead to look at the hot senior at the front or quietly glancing back at the little girl in the back.

This meeting is really nice.

The boy from the gaming club continued to explain that there weren't many rules, basically similar to other clubs, just that the attendance and sign-in requirements were slightly higher.

"Um, I want to ask a question," the girl next to the little girl raised her hand and said, "About the club regulations."

The boy speaking on behalf of the president recognized her immediately: "Former president of the ACG club, what do you want to ask?"

Ah, so she was the president of the ACG club, my bad. Bai Ningning glanced back at the girl sitting next to the little girl, her demeanor was ordinary, and her gaze wasn't strong, much weaker than that of President Aoying, but her eyes were very determined.

"Our former ACG club had a rule, or rather, there was no strict rule regarding attendance and sign-in," she said, "I hope we can keep this tradition, even if it requires an application..."

"So that's why you guys are gone, you know," the boy picked up his phone and pulled up the data he had collected in advance, "The ACG club had an attendance rate of less than 60% for club activities last year, and the waste rate of club resources ranked first in the entire school."

The girl opened her mouth: "There were reasons, they didn't not want to go, it was..."

After a long pause, she couldn't finish her sentence.

Some might have personality issues, some might simply be too lazy to come, and some might find it troublesome.

"Sit down, former president of the ACG club," he said.

The girl sat down in defeat, softly saying, "I'm sorry, Nainai, I tried my best."

The little girl hugged her drawing board tightly, murmuring in a voice that even she couldn't hear: "It's okay,

"The president has already... done enough."

Just as that person said, it was precisely because of this reason that the club... disappeared, right?

Reality is like this; everyone has put in their time, and no one will indulge your "whims."

Everyone can do it, but you can't. Not wanting to come is just being willful.

In front of the activity room, the boy known as "Tian Ge" was still talking:

"I know that many of the original club's rules are different from now, but please keep this in mind. If your rules are good and useful, then why did they end up being merged?"

"The original anime club, you must have heard of it. In terms of registered members on paper, it was on par with the original gaming club. But they had a rule of 'no need to sign in or attend,' and in reality, the number of active members dwindled, making it impossible to gather even the basic number for club activities. Rules like that should have been discarded long ago!"

"No, that's not it..."

"I have a different opinion on this."

Suddenly, Nainai noticed that a senior in the front row had stood up.

That senior, who had a loli face just like hers, stood up from her seat. At that moment, Nainai was surprised to realize.

What a big pillow!

Whether it was because the source of her momentum was the pillow or not, when the senior stood up, Nainai suddenly felt that her presence was on par with that of the president, Aoying, at the front.

The others in the activity room also looked over, equally astonished.

What a beautiful and cute girl, when did she arrive?

Damn, I didn't notice her all this time!

Tian Ge instinctively retorted, "What different opinion do you have? Shouldn't it be discarded?"

"It can be improved, but it shouldn't be completely abandoned," Bai Ningning said coldly, "It still has its reason for existence."

Very good, she expressed her opinion politely this time; there shouldn't be any problem with communication.

Keep going!

"A reason for existence? You're making me laugh. What reason is there for it to exist?" Tian Ge chuckled, "I've looked into it; your rule is said to accommodate those who don't like crowds and don't enjoy socializing. But in reality, at least 90% of those using it as an excuse are lazy, with only one or two genuinely needing it. Tell me, shouldn't such a rule be discarded?"

"Yes, it shouldn't."

Bai Ningning lightly curled her lips, smiling arrogantly: "You only see that it allows many lazy people to skip club activities, but you don't see that there are one or two people who truly need it, finding a safe haven. From this perspective, it shouldn't be discarded. The rules can be improved to make it more suitable for the club, rather than completely negating it."

At eighteen, hiding in a corner, she found redemption in the anime club. Now, it was her turn to carry on the spirit of the club.

This is simply the will of fire!

After hearing Bai Ningning's words, some people around nodded, feeling that it made some sense.

Most importantly, you're beautiful, you're tall, and speaking naturally carries weight.

"As long as there is one person who needs it, it should exist."

Nainai hid behind the drawing board, quietly revealing a small part of her face, watching the petite yet reliable figure in front of her, with a hint of moisture gathering at the corners of her eyes.

Unknown senior, so cool.

But at that moment, Tian Ge realized, "Wait, I don't remember you. It seems I haven't seen you on the list."

As a member of the new club management, Tian Ge was very dedicated and had memorized the personnel list early on, recognizing most of the people in the club.

If she were an ordinary-looking member with no special skills just passing time, it would be fine, but such a beautiful girl could be remembered with just one glance.

So, she's not a member of the club!

Tian Ge was both shocked and angry: "No, you... who are you?"

He wanted to curse, but she was just too beautiful.

Suddenly, a strong jade hand slapped the back of Tian Ge's head, making him yelp in pain.

"She's the school flower!"

The true leader of the club, President Aoying, walked up to the girl: "Bai Ningning, do you remember me?"
