Chapter 141 - [141] Are You Looking for Me?

"Bors, isn't he the boss of this town?"

Line's mind conjured up the image of a one-eyed man with a thuggish aura, causing her to frown involuntarily.

"I remember he's a Level 3 second-tier adventurer. All the adventurers in town have to listen to him."

"Should we go?"

Lefiya looked at Eiji, clearly leaving the decision to him.

Although they were from the Loki Familia, they couldn't look down on other adventurers. Basic respect was necessary.

"I have a bad feeling about this."

Eiji instinctively wanted to touch his chin, but Line grabbed his right hand and shot him a reproachful look, reminding him that he was still in the middle of healing.

"Considering the timing, those Amazoness have probably already searched the upper floors."

"So you're saying they might have already reached the 18th floor, and it's them who ordered Bors to gather everyone to search for us?"

Lefiya immediately frowned in displeasure.

Having witnessed how accurate Eiji's intuition was last night, both girls trusted him completely.

If Miss Ais were here, she would definitely teach those Amazoness a lesson!

Thinking this, Lefiya subconsciously glanced at Eiji, feeling a twinge of guilt.

"No, why should I feel guilty?"

Lefiya snapped out of it and shook her head, causing her ponytail to sway wildly.

She wasn't sure when it started—perhaps it was when she saw him defeat the floor boss yesterday, or maybe even earlier when he saved her multiple times—but she always found herself caring about Eiji's thoughts.

It must be because he's the team leader.

The petite Lefiya muttered to herself in her heart.

"If they didn't find us in the square, they'll definitely send people to search the entire town."

Line's brows furrowed deeply, her expression troubled. "This street only has two gates, north and south. They must have control over both main gates. We can't escape!"

If it's a game of hide-and-seek, it's only a matter of time before we're caught.

"Then let's confront them head-on."

Eiji stood up, flexing his right wrist.

Thanks to the 500,000 valis and Line's healing magic, Eiji's right hand was mostly healed.

If only he had a bottle of Elixir, his injuries would be completely healed. Unfortunately, even though both cost 500,000 valis, a few high-grade potions were nowhere near as effective as an Elixir.

"Are we going to the Crystal Square?"

Lefiya looked at Eiji in surprise.

Although his face showed no signs of worry, the thought of him being captured by the Amazoness made her heart tighten... because they were all comrades from the same Familia!

"It's fine. I don't think there's any danger."

There was no particular reason.

But Eiji was completely calm.

Intuition, forever the best!

The Crystal Square was the center of Rivira Street, with twin crystal pillars of white and blue standing tall, creating a breathtaking sight.

But at this moment, such beauty was marred by an ugly figure.

It was a woman over two meters tall, with a broad and burly frame. Her mouth, split horizontally, resembled that of a toad. She swung her axe, shattering the twin crystal pillars that were twice her height, and then sat on them with satisfaction.

"A beauty like me paired with such beautiful crystal pillars is a perfect match, don't you think?"

She twitched her large nostrils, smugly addressing the one-eyed man beside her.

"Uh... yeah, maybe, maybe so!"

The one-eyed man had a buzz cut, his skin a bronze colour. He wore a simple vest, revealing his muscular torso.

Faced with the woman's oblivious question, his facial muscles twitched. Although he wanted to nod vigorously, his stuttering betrayed his honest nature.

"Ugh!"

As soon as the woman turned her head in satisfaction, the one-eyed man turned around and dry-heaved, his face pale.

This is torture!

Not only is she ugly, but she also thinks she's a stunning beauty. He had never seen such a terrifying woman in his life. Just looking at her made him want to raise the white flag, with no desire to fight at all.

"Boss, we couldn't find the person you're looking for."

An Amazoness girl in a hood approached, reporting the results of the search.

"What did you say?"

The woman's face instantly turned cold as she stood up from the crystal pillar, her massive frame exuding immense pressure.

"Don't lose your temper here, Toad."

Another Amazoness, dressed in a flamboyant manner, immediately warned her, her tone filled with undisguised disgust.

"We've already blocked off this town. They can't escape from here."

The spacious Crystal Square was now filled with four to five hundred adventurers. Under the oppressive presence of the toad-like woman named Phryne, none dared to resist, obediently allowing the Amazoness to inspect them.

But among them, there was no sign of the legendary beautiful youth.

"I know! And call me Boss!"

Phryne glared at her. "Everyone, go search! They must still be in this town. Don't let them escape, or I'll hold you all accountable!"

The Amazoness all showed signs of displeasure.

"Stupid woman, prioritizing her own desires over the bigger picture!"

"Just wait. This time, she's provoked the Loki Familia. She'll definitely get what's coming to her."

To charge into Rivira Street like this is practically exposing herself!

What was she even thinking? Is her brain just for decoration?

They whispered among themselves, their words filled with disdain for Phryne, but they had no choice but to disperse and search the surrounding streets.

"Are you looking for me?"

But before they could leave the square, a loud voice rang out, drawing the attention of the hundreds of adventurers present.

Following the sound, they saw a young man and two girls walking out from the depths of the street, heading towards the Crystal Square.

The cute girl with braids and the beautiful blonde elf would normally be the center of attention, but at this moment, they were completely overshadowed by the young man.

He was a strikingly handsome youth, with perfect features that even the gods would envy. His graceful stride left the Amazoness momentarily stunned.

He exuded a captivating charm that made it impossible for anyone to ignore him.

Even though his body was wrapped in bandages and a cloak, he still drew everyone's attention like a whirlpool in the ocean, his mesmerizing charm undiminished.

Phryne was no exception.

With just one glance, she was completely entranced by the young man's magnetic allure, feeling as though her world and life had finally gained meaning.

But at the same time, a strong sense of possessiveness welled up in her heart, with the thought of "no matter what, I must take this young man and hide him away" repeatedly surfacing.

Suddenly.

The young man turned his gaze towards her.

It was just an ordinary glance, the kind you'd give a stranger, but it made Phryne's heart tighten, and she even missed a beat.

"What a disgusting look. Could you stop staring at me?"

In the next moment, the young man showed a look of disgust.

His face was filled with an unbearable expression, as if he had seen something filthy.
