Alexia looked at the vampire in front of her and couldn't help but frown.
"What do you mean? You've never drank blood directly from a human body?"
She was confused. Thousands of years ago, that was the norm: to drink their blood straight from a human. But it seemed things had changed, which meant there was a chance that what she had said to the man before entering the kingdom might trigger an alarm of some kind as a result.
"Yes, we never do. That's why I'm a little surprised to have a human in here with you… I don't think I've ever heard of something like this happening in over one hundred years."
"How do you normally drink your blood?" Alexia asked, confused as to how the vampires were even surviving without human blood or any blood in general.
After all, drinking blood from other vampires did not work when trying to remove the hunger of a vampire. The type of blood from a vampire also wouldn't make them stronger.
