Lucius wasn't too sure what to think as they had now left her small, exiled part of the world. They were currently walking under the moonlight without any direction. On their way to the first village, there were a few destroyed houses here and there, but in general, it was just desert.
There was a slight breeze of wind and some black sand brushing against their faces.
What was most strange about this whole situation was Alexia and her behavior. Lucius hadn't given her much attention since she had bitten and drunk blood from him. However, right now, the situation had definitely evolved, and Lucius wasn't sure if he was happy with the direction things had started to take.
"Do you have any idea where we are going?" Lucius asked, feeling Alexia's presence a few centimeters away from him, her eyes closed as she sniffed his scent.
She came out of her stupor for a short moment before slightly grinning at Lucius.
"Y-Yes… if we continue this way, we should see one soon."
