Victor walked over to Zoro with a look of pure hatred in his eyes. "I made it clear in my letter that I wanted Shadow Kat to come alone with her bodyguard. So tell me, what are you doing here?"
Zoro looked at him, confused. "Bodyguard? I'm not her bodyguard. I'm her fiancè, and last I checked, you're the one who was getting a reality check. I'm not keen on babysitting rookies."
"ROOKIES!!! YOU DON'T KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT THE ORDER! OLD OR NEW!"
Zoro said nothing and just looked at him like he was nothing more than a child. Is this what has become of the Order since Pretty Kitty has left? They let children run the place now? Is this kid a joke?
I set a hand on Zoro's shoulder, sensing his tension. "Zoro, it's okay. You don't have anything to fear from Victor. He might be a kid, but he doesn't mean any harm." I rested my head on his shoulder for a moment, feeling Henry's kicks getting stronger.
Zoro put his hand on my stomach. "Are you ok?" He smiled. "Easy, Henry, you're growing fairly quickly. I'm here, bud, don't be scared."
Victor blinked for a moment. "What the hell is going on here?"
Luffy smiled. "Zoro and Kat are gonna be parents."
ARE YOU SERIOUS!! SHADOW KAT WOULDN'T LIE WITH A SELFISH ASSHOLE LIKE HIM!"
Zoro walked over to him and grabbed him by the shirt. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING SELFISH?! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A BRAT WHO THINKS HE KNOWS BETTER THAN ANYONE ON THIS SHIP."
Victor grabbed Zoro's wrist and tried to break free, but the kid was no match for Zoro who ended up dropping him like a sack of potatoes. He struggled to get to his feet. "DAMN YOU, ZORO!!" Drawing a small knife to kill Zoro.
I blinked. "Zoro! Behind you!"
Zoro moved quickly and grabbed the knife before knocking Victor out with the hilt. I looked at Luffy, who understood the look. "When he wakes up, I'll teach him a lesson the hard way."
I ran over to him. "You can't mean that you're gonna stay on this ship and fight him? Zoro, you've lost your mind. You don't know how many others are on this ship."
Zoro smirked. "I might have lost it just a bit. But don't worry, I'll be fine."
Luffy smiled. "Come on, Kat, let's get you back to the ship." He picked me up and brought me back to the Going Merry before heading back over to help Zoro with defeating Vitcor and the others.
Nami and Chopper ran over to where I was standing. I had sunk to my knees, tired from all that I had seen. Why, Victor, did you have to go after Zoro? You knew that this would happen.
Chopper knelt next to me and put a hoof on my leg. "Kat, you're bleeding. What happened?"
"Victor came after me and managed to nick me. Zoro and Luffy are still over on that ship. Victor attempted to attack Zoro, and now the boys are taken on an entire fleet of New Order assassins by themselves just to protect me and Henry." I punched the deck. "Chopper, they could die over there, and I can't do anything to help them."
Chopper smiled. "It's gonna be fine. Your safety and that of Henry are the most important at the moment. Zoro and Luffy are gonna be ok. But now you have to be in bed. You've seen enough."
Nami smiled. "Chopper's right. They'll be back before you know it."
Sanji came over. "If you're worried about Zoro and Luffy, Kat, I'll go over and help them."
I fought back tears. "Sanji?"
Sanji laughed. "I won't let Zoro die. You can count on that."
