Chapter 19 - Bound by Blood and Desire

The silence was suffocating.

Sienna sat motionless on the king-sized bed, her pulse erratic, her breath coming in shallow pants. The room was drenched in opulence—dark mahogany furniture, soft golden lighting, and a towering glass window overlooking the city skyline. But despite the luxury, there was an undeniable chill in the air.

Kim Taehyung stood by the door, his gaze sharp and dangerous. A storm brewed behind those dark, possessive eyes. He had always been intense, but tonight—tonight, he was lethal.

"You thought you could leave me, didn't you?" His voice was dangerously soft, each syllable laced with something more potent than fury. Obsession.

Sienna swallowed hard. She had expected his anger. She had expected him to be furious when she tried to escape, but she hadn't expected this—this quiet, suffocating rage.

"Taehyung..." she started, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Don't," he cut her off. "Don't say my name like that, like you still have a choice."

He took slow, deliberate steps toward her. The closer he came, the heavier the air became, thick with tension and something raw, primal.

"You belong to me, Sienna," he murmured, standing inches away from her. His fingers brushed against her jaw, tilting her chin up until their eyes met. "I own you."

She should have been terrified. Any sane woman would be. But the way he looked at her, the way his voice curled around her name, sent a shiver down her spine—a shiver of something far more dangerous than fear.

"You can't keep me here forever," she said, trying to summon some defiance.

A slow, dark smirk tugged at his lips. "Oh, sweetheart," he purred, his fingers ghosting over her throat. "I can. And I will."

Her heart pounded against her ribs. "Why?" she demanded, her voice shaking. "Why are you so obsessed with me?"

His grip tightened, not painfully, but enough to make sure she felt him—felt the weight of his claim. "Because you are mine," he whispered. "Because the moment I saw you, I knew I would ruin this world for you. Burn cities. Kill for you. Die for you."

Her breath hitched.

"I gave you a chance to run," he continued, his voice softer now, almost coaxing. "I let you think you had freedom. But there is no freedom from me, Sienna. There never was."

Her body betrayed her, heat coiling in her stomach at the dark, possessive promise in his words.

She hated him. Hated how much power he had over her. But, God help her, she wanted him too.

"Say it," he murmured, his lips hovering just above hers. "Say you belong to me."

Sienna clenched her fists, battling the war inside her. But Taehyung was relentless. His hand trailed down her arm, fingers curling around her wrist before pulling her flush against him.

The scent of his expensive cologne wrapped around her, intoxicating her.

"Say it," he repeated, his other hand tangling in her hair, tilting her head back.

She hated herself for how much she wanted this.

For how much she wanted him.

Her lips parted, and the words slipped out before she could stop them.

"I'm yours."

Something dark flashed in his eyes, satisfaction twisting his lips into a smirk. "Good girl."

Before she could take another breath, his mouth crashed against hers—bruising, possessive, claiming. He kissed her like he was staking his claim, like he was branding his name into her very soul.

Her fingers fisted into his shirt, pulling him closer even as her mind screamed at her to stop. But there was no stopping this. No stopping him.

Kim Taehyung always got what he wanted.

And what he wanted was her.

Forever.

Possession in Every Touch

Sienna whimpered against his lips, torn between resistance and submission. His hands traced down her spine, searing through the thin fabric of her dress. He didn't just kiss her—he devoured her, making sure she understood one thing.

She was his.

She pressed her hands against his chest, trying to push him away, but he caught her wrists in one hand and pinned them behind her back.

"Do you know what happens to people who defy me, sweetheart?" His voice was laced with amusement, but there was a warning beneath it.

Sienna met his gaze, breathless. "You kill them," she whispered.

He chuckled darkly. "Only when they deserve it." His grip on her wrists tightened slightly before he let go.

She stepped back, trying to put some distance between them, but Taehyung's hand shot out, gripping her chin, forcing her to look at him.

"You think I enjoy being this way?" His voice was rough, edged with something raw. "You think I chose to be a man who takes instead of asks?"

Sienna's throat bobbed as she swallowed. "Then let me go."

A cruel smirk curved his lips. "No."

Her pulse hammered.

"You don't understand, do you?" he murmured, tilting his head slightly as if studying her. "I don't let go of what's mine. Ever."

His phone buzzed in his pocket, breaking the heavy silence.

He sighed, irritated, before pulling it out.

"What?" His voice was sharp, cutting through the air like a blade.

Sienna watched as his expression darkened. His jaw clenched, and his grip on the phone tightened.

"I'll be there in ten minutes," he snapped before hanging up.

He turned back to her, his expression unreadable.

"I'm leaving," he stated. "But don't mistake this for freedom, Sienna."

She didn't say anything.

"You'll stay here," he continued. "And if you even think about running again…" He trailed off, a sinister glint in his eyes. "Let's just say the consequences won't be as gentle next time."

She shivered.

Then, without another word, he turned and walked out, locking the door behind him.

Sienna stood there for several moments, staring at the door, her mind racing.

This was her chance.

She had to get out.

Escape or Surrender?

Sienna rushed to the window, her heart pounding. The city lights glowed below, mocking her. They were so close, yet so far.

The door was locked, but she had seen a spare key in Taehyung's drawer earlier. She moved quickly, pulling open the drawer and grabbing it.

With trembling fingers, she unlocked the door and stepped into the dimly lit hallway.

Her breath came fast, adrenaline surging through her veins.

She had to be fast.

But as she reached the stairs, a deep voice made her freeze.

"Sienna."

Her blood ran cold.

Slowly, she turned.

Taehyung stood at the other end of the hallway, a cruel smile on his lips. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, as if he had been waiting for this exact moment.

"Going somewhere?" he drawled.

Sienna's heart sank.

He stepped toward her, his movements slow, deliberate. Like a predator stalking its prey.

"You didn't think I'd leave you unguarded, did you?" His tone was almost amused.

Sienna's grip on the key tightened. She took a step back.

Taehyung's expression darkened. "Don't," he warned.

But she did.

She turned and ran.

She barely made it two steps before he caught her, his arm wrapping around her waist as he yanked her back against his chest.

His lips brushed against her ear. "I told you, Sienna," he whispered. "You can't run from me."

Her entire body trembled as he turned to face him.

"Now, you pay the price."

His lips curled into a wicked smirk as he lifted her into his arms, carrying her back to the room.

And this time, there would be no escape.

No mercy.

Only him.

And his forbidden obsession.
