Chapter 19 - Introduction

"Greyson? Holy shit man its good to see your alive? Oh, Hello sweetheart, Name's Kyle." (Kyle)

"Haha, man, I'm so glad you're alive. My name is Justin, by the way. Seems you had the unfortunate luck of meeting Greyson first." (Justin)

"Haha, Glad to see you're both alive as well. Where is Mark?" (Greyson)

"Oh, He's just slow." (Justin)

Wheesing

Panting came from the third man who finished talking to the group they brought in, who had run over as fast as he could, bending over to catch his breath.

"Says... The ones... Who ran here... Without the... Survivors." (Mark)

"Not like they couldn't see the mass of people here. Besides, if a monster attacks us, it most likely is one of the bigger ones, since there are so many people around." (Kyle)

"I heard that you guys were playing hero?" (Greyson)

"Yeah, that was Mark's idea.." (Justin)

Having caught his breath, Mark stood up straight and spoke, crossing his arms.

"It's not like I pushed it all. I said we should bring those we find here, not that we should keep going into town to find more survivors to bring here." (Mark)

"You speak like you don't enjoy playing hero." (Justin)

"I don't" (Mark)

"Yeah, Right." (Justin, Greyson, Kyle)

The moment when three of them ganged up on the poor man, Anna couldn't help herself. She started laughing. Greyson and the others turned to Anna, making her clam up and stop laughing.

"Hi, I'm Anna." (Anna)

Snorting Kyle came over and swung his arm over Anna's shoulder. This is too close. Greyson. The other three immediately smacked the back of Kyle's head and moved him away from Anna.

"Ouch the hell guys?" (Kyle)

"Seriously, dude, how many times do I have to say girls aren't always going to enjoy a guy hanging all over them when first meeting?" (Mark)

Kyle started to grumble.

"Rain on my parade, why don't you?" (Kyle)

"Seriously, man, I've only known her for a few days and I don't want you to scare her off." (Greyson)

Kyle smirking his playful banter, returning from his most likely faking of an upset mood. He swung his arm over Greyson's shoulder and pointed at him.

"So why did you join this mussle head?" (Kyle)

"I'm not the one constantly at the gym, Kyle." (Greyson)

"Yeah, sorry man, but you're more of the muscle head than him." (Mark)

"Hey... Well, you have a point, but still, I take offense." (Kyle)

Yeah, he wasn't offended. This was most likely his way of coping.

"So why are you here with Greyson?" (Justin)

"How about I let all of you talk it out?" (Anna)

At this point, Anna was too tired from talking honestly; she could barely handle playing with the kids.

They didn't seem to mind, and Anna tuned out their words, looking at the four men talk. Justin, A tall man who stands around the same height as Greyson, with Brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard, looks to be in his late twenties to early thirties. Mark looks like Justin's younger brother, but he seems to be in his early twenties, maybe only just twenty. He has brown hair, no facial hair, and a youthful look. Kyle was the only one who looked unrelated to the other two. He has nearly shoulder-length hair that looks dyed and faded to a pale purple. His eyebrows are dark black with silver piercings. He seems to be in his mid-twenties with a muscular figure. Most likely, they pretty much said he is the muscle brain. He hasn't shaved in a while, but probably used to shave regularly. And grey-green eyes that nearly bordered on blue. All three held weapons, from machetes to pistols, and a couple of packs.

Anna turned her head and looked at Charles, who was busy moving around helping others. An old man, holding himself and moving around like he is still in his thirties. His beard and hair were well-maintained, although dirt and stains covered the ends of the sleeves on his shirt. He would occasionally adjust his glasses and try to ensure everyone was alright. Hopefully, he takes good care of all these people. Many were looking at him with gratitude.

Looking at the town, the fires had died down, but the shadows and movement of the active monsters were still visible in the fading light.
