Ark dismissed his armour, preferring to soak underneath the rain with more breathable clothes.
Emma held onto his shirt for 'guidance' as they walked over to where Damian was.
Although they had cleared the horde, there were considerable casualties. Worse of all, the beasts had completely devoured some of the bodies, leaving behind unoccupied military uniforms and blood, a ghastly sight.
Damian was organising a group of soldiers, each one of them properly armed. Not too far away from them was the body of the second massive spider, looking just as terrible as when it was alive.
His wife, Lauretta was standing right next to him and save for the rain she was looking largely untouched by the battle.
When they got close to Damian, he turned to face them with a light smile on his face.
"You two are quite the duo, it took seven of us to take out this one here," He said, motioning at the spider.
One of the soldiers scowled.
"That is because you took so long to shoot Capt!"
