Chapter 17 - Finding The Drive

After Wang Hyun-woo arrived at the Red Moon Casino, he noticed a group of men in black trench coats waiting for him. He chuckled at the sight. He had already dropped Hee-na off at the hospital for treatment, so she was no longer a concern.

He stepped out of the car and walked towards the casino entrance. Seven men stood guard, their presence radiating a powerful aura. These weren't the ordinary guards Sera and Jihoon had taken down before—these ones were ten times stronger.

The moment they spotted Hyun-woo, they launched themselves at him.

Hyun-woo smiled and propelled himself forward to meet them. With every blow exchanged, the ground trembled beneath their feet.

At first, Hyun-woo thought he could take them down easily. But as the fight dragged into its fifth minute, the men proved him wrong. Still, he wasn't worried—he had plenty of stamina to spare.

The moment he sensed their attacks beginning to weaken, he scoffed.

"This fight is already over."

He cranked up his power and unleashed a flurry of powerful punches and dangerous kicks. But instead of falling, the men retaliated with their own brutal blows—matching his speed, his power... and his style.

Hyun-woo's eyes widened in shock. They weren't just fighting back. They were fighting like him—copying his very techniques.

Seconds later, he found himself only dodging. Every opening to strike back had vanished. The men intensified their assault, overwhelming him with relentless attacks.

Hyun-woo hit the ground hard, coughing up a mouthful of blood.

A soft, mocking laugh echoed from the casino entrance.

"Haha."

He looked up, his vision blurry.

"Yuri..." he muttered, forcing himself back to his feet.

"Do you like my new guards?" she asked with a smug smile.

Hyun-woo narrowed his eyes. "What are they?" he asked. "They don't fight like humans..."

"That's because they're not human," Yuri replied coolly.

"What?" Hyun-woo blinked.

After the death of Yoon Jaesung, his elder sister, Yoon Yuri, took over the Red Moon Casino. She replaced all of her brother's employees with her own, ensuring nothing like what happened under his leadership would ever occur again. The two intruders who had walked in and out of the casino unscathed still hadn't been caught. And they might return.

"What are you doing here?" Yuri asked, ignoring his question as her frown deepened.

"I was hoping I could find clues about who beat my sister," Hyun-woo replied.

"If that's why you're here, I'm afraid I can't help you," she said flatly.

"Sure," Hyun-woo turned to leave.

"Seo Jihoon," Yuri suddenly said. "Find him. He's most likely the one who beat your sister."

"Thank you," Hyun-woo muttered, getting into his car and driving off.

As he drove, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Jace, I need information regarding a particular person."

---

"I'm really sorry!" Crusher knelt in front of Jihoon, bowing repeatedly.

"I-It's okay," Jihoon mumbled, shifting away from him. His arm and one of his legs were wrapped in bandages.

"No! You could've died!" Crusher kept begging, inching closer.

"It's fine, really," Jihoon said, still inching away in discomfort. 'Please just leave me alone.'

"How did you survive?" Crusher asked.

"I have no idea," Jihoon said with a slight frown.

"When you're better, I promise we'll have a rematch," Crusher added.

"There's no need for that," Jihoon replied. "You're better than me."

"No!" Crusher stood up. "It's either you fight me again... or you die!"

Jihoon's right eye twitched. He let out a heavy sigh. "Fine. I'll fight you—and I'll beat you so hard you'll wish you were dead."

Crusher lit up with a smile. "That's my boy!"

Just then, Raon came running into the room. "Master Seo, someone's here to see you!"

"Who could it be?" Jihoon asked, settling into his wheelchair. Raon pushed him out of the room.

Outside, Jihoon spotted Seyeon talking to a tall, handsome stranger. He frowned. "Who are you?"

Hyun-woo turned to face Jihoon. "I heard you're the one who beat my sister."

"I already explained to him that you were only trying to rescue that girl," Seyeon said quickly.

"I didn't exactly beat her," Jihoon said. "I just knocked her out—her and her friend."

"So what you're saying," Hyun-woo said, his brows tightening, "is that she was no match for you at all?"

Jihoon nodded.

In the same moment, Hyun-woo launched an attack.

Crusher moved fast, blocking Hyun-woo's blow—but the sheer force nearly shattered his arms and sent him flying back several meters.

Hyun-woo's gaze remained fixed on Jihoon. He charged again, but this time, Seyeon intercepted with a strong kick.

Hyun-woo retaliated instantly with a kick of his own—three times stronger. Seyeon was thrown back, crashing into a wall and shattering it on impact.

Everything happened in less than five seconds.

Hyun-woo turned back to Jihoon and drove a powerful kick into his chest, showing no concern for his injuries.

But Jihoon, in that split second, landed a kick of his own on Hyun-woo's chest.

Both fighters were thrown backwards from the clash.

Jihoon glanced at the unconscious Seyeon before shifting his glare back to Hyun-woo. "Do you know what you've just done?"

"I'm only taking revenge for my sister," Hyun-woo replied with a frown.

"I already told you, there's no way I'd kill someone as weak as her," Jihoon said.

"My sister is not weak!" Hyun-woo yelled as he launched himself at Jihoon, throwing a flurry of attacks.

Crusher wanted to intervene, but Jihoon stopped him. He needed to deal with Hyun-woo himself.

Five minutes into the fight, and both fighters were still going strong. Another five minutes passed, and they were still fighting. Another five minutes went by, but neither side was slowing down one bit.

Crusher's face lit up with a grin. "Who the hell is that kid? Going toe-to-toe with Jihoon? That's crazy!"

"My sister was right!" Hyun-woo said amidst the clash. "Your stamina is really insane!"

But Jihoon remained silent, continuing his relentless assault.

"This fight is over," Hyun-woo said as he switched his fighting style into something deadlier and lightning fast. One of his attacks now carried the weight of five lethal blows.

He struck Jihoon's arms ferociously, completely disabling them, then slammed a kick into Jihoon's chest. But in that same split second, Jihoon's foot collided with Hyun-woo's chest too.

Hyun-woo frowned, realizing just how dangerous Jihoon's legs were. 'Looks like I'll have to destroy his legs too.'

He launched another attack, hoping to end it, but Jihoon countered with a storm of kicks. Hyun-woo blocked a few, but the ones that landed shattered his right arm.

He winced and leapt back—but that was his biggest mistake.

Jihoon shot forward at lightning speed and delivered a series of brutal kicks. Hyun-woo tried to kick back, but Jihoon dodged and shattered his leg with a crushing blow.

---

A black BMW rolled to a stop in front of the Lee family's Old House. Kang Min-chul and Lee Tae-gun stepped out of the car and walked into the ruins.

"How are you so sure it's here?" Min-chul asked.

"Think about it. All Jihoon knows is that the drive is in the Old House, but he has no idea where this house is or what it looks like," Tae-gun replied.

"What about the safe you found?" Min-chul asked. "You discovered it here after the house completely collapsed."

"Trust me, we both know my father. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't put something as important as the drive inside a safe," Tae-gun said as he glanced around.

After searching thoroughly for a while, they finally spotted the drive lying on the ground. They looked at each other, dumbfounded, eyes twitching in disbelief.

"Don't tell me it was just lying there all this time?" Kang Min-chul laughed.

Tae-gun chuckled. "Father really made us look stupid."

"Not just us—but everyone who's been searching for this damn drive," Min-chul said, slapping his forehead.

Tae-gun scanned the area to see if anyone was watching, but the place seemed deserted.

Unbeknownst to them, a red-haired beauty was watching from afar—the same one who had been spying on them at the company.

"So they finally found it, huh?" she whispered, exhaling sharply. "Things are about to get interesting."

---

"I heard that he just found the drive," a feminine voice echoed through a dark room filled with tall silhouettes and faint red lights.

"Where?" a deep voice asked from the far end of the table.

"The collapsed Lee house," she replied. "Apparently, it had been lying on the floor all this while."

"That's crazy," someone muttered.

The room went silent. Heads slowly turned toward the voice.

"Crazy?" another man repeated, his tone razor-sharp and laced with annoyance. "Such a crude word to use. Let me guess—you must be our newest member."

"Yeah," the newcomer said casually.

"Yeah?" the man growled, rising slowly from his chair. "We don't speak like that here."

"Kk, no probs," the newbie replied, flashing a peace sign.

A vein visibly twitched on the man's temple. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Um… did I do something wrong again, fam?" the newbie asked with a crooked grin.

"Fam?" The man's blood boiled.

"Relax, dude," the newbie said, kicking back in his seat. "You need to let out some steam. Want me to recommend a yoga playlist?"
