Detective Kelly stood in front of the burnt scene and all he could do was wonder what had really happened. He started rummaging through his mind on the things that would have been a possibility as to what had actually happened at this place. He had requested for a photo of the man's truck, turns out nobody had it. He never had a photo and whatever that might have pointed to that fact was indeed gone. The only thing he was told was that it was an orange pickup.
Even though he did not want to say it to his face, he was itching to tell the sheriff that he was doing a sloppy job at profiling. This kind of case about the man was supposed to have had everything about Gideon written down someplace safe for days like this or when he finally gets caught.
"You shouldn't blame our department. When his case was closed, his file was taken as well. There is a lot of things that you do not understand." The sheriff said to him.
